It would be safer going with another company when you're going to buy tile they will sell you crack tile and not replace them they will be very rude with you and tell you have to buy new tiles there are hairline cracks and almost all the tile that I've gotten from them I am having a huge house done and spent so much money to have them say oh well save your money go somewhere different please do not be disappointed like this read more

If you need flooring, particularly any type of tile, this is the place to go! They have soooo much to choose from. I think almost anyone can find something that's perfect for their home and personal taste. We actually came here for glass tile for a backsplash, and they had exactly what I was looking for. And their prices were excellent. Much better than every other place we've priced out, and our contractor said their material is actually high quality, too. So I was pretty pleased with that. The store is huge, well organized, well stocked, and very clean. There are usually some employees walking around, but it seems like they're always busy with other customers. So you'll have to get in line, or go to the front for more help. I think the employee friendliness/helpfulness has been very hit or miss, too. One guy was flat out rude at check out while buying a small amount of samples. Another girl was very helpful in explaining their stocking situation. I guess it just depends on the time of day. Overall, I like this store, and I'm going back this weekend to buy more tile. read more

Our experience for selecting, ordering and picking up tile was made so much better with Jimbo's help. He asked us about our project and what brought us in the store. He lead us directly to the isles with options in our sizes. Where we were able to quickly narrow it down. Jimbo took a piece from the wall, floor and shower pan tile selections and walked us into the sunlight and laid the pieces next to each other to get a better idea of the color scheme - looked great! Everything with Floor and Decor initially started out great. I called in and spoke with an associate who stated that he was the manager of the tile section. As I spoke with him, he helped me with figuring out how much materials we needed, and with getting an order set up. Then, when we placed our order over the phone for vinyl flooring, we told the store associate that we did not yet have an installer to do the job. He told us not to worry, and that we could call back in once we had decided on an installer, and we just had to let the store know who was picking up our materials for us. We decided on an installer, and as instructed we called in to let the store know who was picking up our materials. At this point, the female associate (which we believe to be the manager) who answered the phone, told us that we had to either cancel our original order of almost $2,000 and place a new order where we give them the name of the installer or go into the store in person to tell them who was going to be picking up our materials. If we did cancel our order, we were also told that we wouldn't be refunded for at least 4-5 days, so we were forced to go into the store as we were on a time crunch, and couldn't wait that long. This is a 45 minute drive for us each way, and didn't make any sense as that was something that we could have done over the phone. We were happy to provide whatever information was requested to verify our identity, such as confirming the payment method numbers, or an order number, or anything, but were told no. It did not make any sense why we had to spend gas money and lose out on roughly 2 hours worth of time to do something that could have happened over the phone! When my wife did go into the store, the initial associate who was helping my wife with told her that she should have been able to tell them the installer over the phone! At this point a female employee, who my wife said had the same voice as who we spoke with on the phone came up and told the other employee that he was wrong, and my wife says that she scowled at her! Absolutely unacceptable! Also, they didn't ask for any identification of the people who were going to be picking up the materials, so it made the need for us to go in to show I.D. make even less sense! Finally, when our installer did go to pick up the materials, the associates in at that time originally only gave our installer our transition pieces, and had him waiting more than 45 minutes for them to give him the rest of our order! They just left him there waiting, and they didn't even go to look for our order, they just left him there, and he had to locate the remainder of our order himself! Absolutely nonsensical and terrible service! Overall the product was nice, but the service that we were given was awful, and if that woman was the manager, she should be replaced, as I see plenty of other reviews about great customer service, many of which sound like a more adequate replacement. read more

My wife and I have two experiences with Floor & Decor (F&D). The first one went smoothly. We shopped at the local store in Tucson, where we live, and they have friendly staff and great selection at very reasonable prices. Our first delivery went off without any problems. Time came for our second purchase. I purchased the tile, I believe both times, via my smart phone. The second order arrived and we anticipated it would be delivered within our garage, much like our prior order. We learned, however, that our order of 3550 pounds of tile, wouldn't be delivered In the garage but curbside because we didn't have "white glove services" paid for. That was new to me based on our last experience and there's no way I'm moving 3550 pounds of tile into the garage myself. It turns out the delivery company actually went above and beyond in delivering the tile to us within the garage the first time around. My wife spoke to customer service and this is where the problems began. Instead of ever being helpful, we were constantly reminded that delivery only included curbside delivery. One point I tried making was that we were never aware of that fact, including at the time of bordering the tile. Had I seen that information I wouldn't have purchased it. Also, if there had been an option to opt for "white glove delivery, I would have chosen it. Unfortunately, the customer service staff never provided us with the option of inquiring about what it would even take to obtain white glove services. We were again, constantly reminded about their policies and that we failed to obtain "white glove services". I called today, the day after Christmas, after awaiting a call from them to hear about options. The service rep stated to me that I was incorrect about waiting to receive a call from them because according to her my wife hung up on her during their conversation. I was present during that conversation and heard it on speakerphone and know that to not be a fact. However, moving forward, I asked for help learning of any options they can provide. I was sent over to the logistics rep and again only learned about our failure to order the right thing, never having received any concessions about understanding our predicament. I finally got tired of it all, the same message, and I concluded I had enough with the company and simply requested my money back. My experience has been one where the customer service department is incapable of actually being of any help. My wife and I would have even paid for "white glove service" today if someone would have just listened, sincerely expressed some empathy and said that they'd present me with options to help us out, including payment of "white glove" service. Instead, my wife and I are willing to receive partial payment of our money just to be free and clear from Floor & Decor from now on. I did see their website where they mention curbside delivery, something I honestly never saw it before and still don't know where we're supposed to elect white glove services. However, that's all we heard from customer service. My wife and I are both professionals and we both work in helping people problem solve far more serious matters than this. I wish F & D has been able to do the same. We'll chalk up the cost of the restocking fee as a lesson learned to go elsewhere to a place where we may pay more but they'll actually stop, listen and help us. read more

We've purchased all the tile and flooring materials for our house remodel here. I can't say much as to the customer service because I don't usually ask for a ton of help. They do offer design services, so I think if you are one to need more guidance, that is something you could utilize. They carry a beautiful selection of materials at great prices and follow more of the current trends in my opinion than the other big box stores. Def recommend checking it out! read more

We recently built a home in the Tucson Area. Prior to moving we purchased and paid for our tile approximately 1-year in advance of when installation was anticipated. This was in Dec 2020. The understanding was the product would be stored in the CA warehouse until called for. F&D apparently misunderstood and shipped the product to Tucson in February 2021 without notice. Beginning in June we began receiving phone calls to arrange delivery but because of COVID we were delayed and the store agreed to continue to hold the product. We kept in contact monthly. In December 2021 I happened to be in the store and discovered the product had been sold and was not longer available. This sale happened in August 2021, again without notice or refund. The store located product in Denver but wanted to charge us $4000 to ship. Corporate was no help nor was Comenity Bank. We were stuck as the elements of our interior design centered around this tile. We located stock in 4 SoCal and AZ locations and at a cost of $1500 we hooked a trailer to the truck and went on a road trip. F&D made no offer of compensation for the problem they caused. Even the store manager Jim lied to corporate and told them he gave us a $300 credit, BS! Floor and Decor is not the only source for flooring and should be avoided. On the plus side the Mesa, AZ store was very helpful in locating and securing stock for our road trip. If I needed to deal with them again then I'd drive the 75 miles just to avoid the Tucson store. One star instead of zero because they have inventory, and they carry some nice (if expensive) tile and flooring. However, they don't answer their phone either on the regular line or their professional desk. Have called them 12 times so far today (exact count) and the regular phone number rings many many times then just hangs up on you. The prof desk just goes to voice mail. Obviously they need more help here and corporate is trying to cheap out on customer service. Truly disappointing. Yesterday, my husband and I were bickering over tile options in the Floor and Decor store. Amber, an employee clearly going on her break, stopped to ask if she could help. Of course we were delighted to have the help. Once she understood what we needed she guided us straight to the aisle where she thought we would find what we needed. Right she was, the second choice fit exactly what we were looking for and our price. She grabbed a cart, loaded the tile, took us up front and checked us out. In and out in under 20 minutes.
