Great place and helpful staff. I needed to do some small remodel projects around the house. Scheduled an appt ahead of time with the designer. I got to talk to both Fatima and Alma on separate occasions and they were both so patient and helpful. The floor staff were very polite and friendly too. Overall, pleasant experience and will go back for future needs. Ps: I would recommend to get samples first, bring them home and see how you like them in your setting. It's true what others have said about having to wait to pick up your materials after you pay. We even came back hours later to pick up what we purchased. I waited 1-1/2 hours to get my flooring. After requesting to speak to a manager and arguing with two employees. They finally brought my material out and sat the pallet on the ground by my truck. Had some choice words with the lazy warehouse workers. 4 guys in the warehouse and only 3 customer trucks waiting to be loaded. The Manager never came out. Wait I take it back after I loaded all 38 boxes of flooring ,some lady said how can I help you. You can guess my response. They lost my business even if their price is lower. Home depot is 10 times busier and their pro desk can load several trucks at a time. F&D had 4 forklifts only one guy driving them, the other doing God knows what. Absolutely terrible customer service. Went in to get some sample flooring & was told it would not be in stock and so it would need to be ordered 1-2 weeks out. That is no problem... Went back the next week to order it - first, they took the sample I picked and said I wanted to order & then had an impromptu gathering where I couldn't even tell them how much I wanted to order. Liked the flooring though... so I waited. Eventually they told me that flooring wasn't an option and that whoever sold me the samples and said that I could order it was wrong and that there was confusion with the sku number so "sorry". Eventually they told me I could drive to another location to get this flooring. I said I wasn't going to do that & forget it & then they said it could be brought to their location. Moved forward, they said it would take about a week. Just tried calling their line multiple times and eventually a girl named Vivian answered. I asked her to check the status of my order to know if I could pick it up yet since it had been a week. Was told it still isn't in, I asked if she could see when it was expected. She just starts sighing & is obviously annoyed that she was the only employee to have answered the phone said I was wondering when it was expected tells me she doesn't know. Since she isn't helpful, I ask for her name, she tells me & the convo is over. Now she is calling on repeat leaving VM to let me know that I should have stayed on the phone & waited & she would have gotten a manager. Now my phone has been ringing nonstop for this petty nonsense. Will not be going back to this store even though they do have a decent selection read more

Never will I ever hire another tile contractor that works with floor and decor. We hired Randy Brown Company to install a whole house worth of tile 20 thousand dollars of just labor since we paid for our own tile and materials used. Him and his crew are filthy dirty. Had soda drinks everywhere, Messed up my brand new countertops sinks and faucets, left all my floor completely dirty. Didn't even take the time to sweep it. They kept charging the last invoice saying they were done and weren't coming back when my refrigerator still had their food in there. Worst experience ever. He blamed floor and decors tile saying it was so cheap and that's why it it's so un level . When he came back to clean he only emptied the refrigerator and blame other contractors for all the scratches stains and all the damages on our brand new tile. We don't have other people in our house but one other contractor and he's working in the kitchen and my masters bathroom. Btw the house is empty so we're not even in that house touching anything. So unprofessional. They make this store look extremely bad since that's all he kept bragging about how he worked with Floor and Decor trying to make himself seem trustworthy with plenty of experience and when his work turns out awful he blamed the store. read more

I contacted F&D to come out and measure my bathroom for counter tops and sills at several locations of the bathroom, paid a $75.00 fee and made an appointment.The gentleman that came out was on time and very friendly, we went over the needs in detail and he took the measurements and explained the process and timeline and all was good. I was going to be out of town and explained that I would call and give the go ahead when I came back so when they where ready to install I would be there. When the installer came out two weeks later he drove up and was getting things set up and looked at the bathroom in which I had cleared sinks, fixtures and ALL accessories in the bathroom for his install. He asked if I wanted to look at the new Quartz and when I did I had to tell him it was all wrong. For some reason someone at the manufacturer crossed out White Quartz printed on the PO and hand wrote Black Quartz. When I asked who did that everyone went quiet at all ends. Needless to say I now had no bathroom and was very upset that someone changed my order after confirmed four times even from the manufacturer. I was told it would take another week to correct the issue and if I had any issues I would have to take it up with Stone Edge (Contractor). I had to remind Floor and Decor more than four times that my contract was not with Stone Edge but them since I engaged, signed a contract and paid them to do the job. When I told Floor and Decor they would need to make some adjustment on the money to cover my troubles I was told that would need to come from Stone Edge and that up with them. Again my contract was not with Stone Edge, the job has been installed and the installer did a nice job but I still have an issue that everything was not installed as discussed. They did not install one of the sills that was originally discussed and no one is getting back to me from Floor and Decor about it. I am assuming they want me to pay more their mishandling of this entire project and lack of competency. My suggestion to anyone is to go direct to the manufacturer / installer and avoid this situation with Floor and Decor since they dropped out of the picture as soon as they take your money and tell you that if you have any issues you need to deal with the installer. Poor business ethics since they are the ones that pick them! read more

One week ago I went to Floor and Decor to pick new flooring for my home. I spent 3 (three) hours selecting a floor that did not have enough of the same dye lot for my needs. I then selected another style and asked an associate if there was enough dye lot for my needs. She climbed over boxes and assured me that there was enough for me. Mike the manager or assistant manager told me they would hold my order for two weeks but I said no I would pay for it which I did and pick it up in a week. I contracted workers to put in my floor and found friends who would pick up the order for me this week and took time from my job for this project. When we went to pick it up they had never saved enough of the same dye lot instead the pallet had 3 different dye lots and I still needed additional boxes. So I have contracted workers and no longer have a truck for pick up because I have NO FLOORING - AFTER BEING REASSURED THAT I WOULD HAVE THE FLOORING WITH THE SAME DYE LOT FOR MY FLOORING AND ACTUALLY SAW IT AND WAS TOLD IT WOULD BE MINE. NOW I HAVE A CONTRACTOR WHO WANTS PAID FOR LOSING OTHER JOBS BECAUSE HE WAS SCHEDULED TO WORK AT MY HOME AND NO TRUCK TO PICK UP THE FLOORING AND TIME OFF WORK WITH NO PURPOSE. Someone at the store said they would telephone me yesterday trying to locate enough of the dye lot but I never got a telephone call. I have purchased much from your store and do not believe that the handling of this sale was with any credibility or integrity. read more

I purchased about $6000 worth of flooring at this store. And was told that there would be no problem returning any unused portion. First the sales person wrote up twice as much as i needed in one color. My contractor picked it up and now the store is refusing to take any of it back. The assistant manager Duke was rude as could be. I finally got a hold of the manager, John, that also refused the return. After calling customer service the rude woman there said it is up to the manager of the individual store. Nice selection and its convenient but I wont be back to this store! Separate issues they gave me 24 feet of qtr round, not 200 ft. and none in the other color. Then on a separate visit picked up some tile and it was the wrong color when I got home. read more

We would have saved a lot of time had we came here first, but we would not have known that the have very competitive pricing! The selection is vast, with tile in stock right at the point of display. The WORST experience EVER!! I will never use them again or recommend them! My husband and I visited the Katy store and picked out tile that we were told was in stock and ready to go. We didn't have room in our vehicle so we scheduled our tile to be picked up the next day by our contractor. Our contractor gets there to pick up the tile, only to be told that there wasn't any in stock (after we were told it was). They then tell us the the Sugarland store has plenty of what we need and that the order would be transferred to the Sugarland store. My contractor gets to the Sugarland store only to be told that there was no order transferred and they only had 7 pieces in stock and half were broken! They then tell me the Webster location has 300 boxes and they were sending a 3rd party driver over there to pick up the tile but I wouldn't get it until the next day! So now here we are a day behind on my install! The driver arrives at the Webster store and gets only 10 boxes because the others were broken. The rep then tells the driver he can retrieve the other boxes from the back and the driver told him "he didn't have time to wait" so he left without the rest of the tile. The Katy store then calls me and tells me that they are sending someone back to the Webster store to get the remaining tile. No one ever went and now here we are going into day two of being behind on my install. I was then again told that the tile would be delivered to my house and that never happened! So now here we are going into day 4 and still no tile but yet I am told it will be delivered to my house on Thursday! My contractor was suppose to install my tile on Monday and here we are on Thursday and I am scheduled to move into my home on Friday! I am totally disgusted with Floor and Decor and will never use them again for anything! The manager only offered a refund of $109 back to me! I was completely inconvenienced by this whole process and this is the best accommodation I was given! Their corporate office will definitely hear from me! This is ridiculous and completely unacceptable! read more

Met Joyce who spoke with me for a while and then asked if I had set up time with their designers. Told her I could not afford a Designer. She told me that the service was free. She introduced me to Linda. Met with her the following day and walked out of that store feeling relieved and blessed. She understood my style and chose product which made sense. I would have never been able to do this on my own. I asked Linda why they offer this service for free and she told me that Floor n Decor wants to ensure a happy customer. The product is great arrived at 7:35 finally got loaded at 10:45 pick out my floor the night before when it was rung up and I finally explained I had a 6 hr drive a young lady and i went to get my flooring. the first box I noticed was not the floor I wanted wrong sku number on the floor I had picked. Had to pick another floor re check out. Having to explain that I had not even got the floor out of the store that goodness. Then had to wait on someone to come and recheck the young women explained again what had happened then had to wait for someone else to recheck order finally got loaded and was able to leave not one person apologized all they said was oh we only have on loader working with about 8 contractors waiting. Be interesting to see if they get there act together. read more

This is the 3rd Floor and Décor I visited and I don't get their business strategy. Elizabeth and Connie at the contractor's desk treat me so nicely. But when I go to the loading area to pick up my stuff it is a total disaster. They used to have a group of guys that were fast and nice, they used to load me in less than 20 minutes or faster. But now, they have several girls that are full of attitude and just nasty. They are rude and slow; they are on the phone or just sit there. Several times now, they just made me wait. Last time, I waited over 45 minutes to pick up12 boxes of tile. This girl had to call somebody from the store to help me load the tile. She rudely told me she was not allowed to load people. Bottom line is, if you sell heavy tile have a man or woman that can handle the loads. Not prima donnas that just sit there completely useless. Now I will just get my own stuff so I don't have to deal with these people. read more
