I always enjoy Flippers. A million years ago I used to frequent a location near millenia so I'm glad they are still around but changing just enough to keep up with preferences. I like to get a personal pizza because I can add or change things to make my perfect pie and not force other people to share it. We usually order online and it's always busy. Sometimes the staff are overwhelmed by really big (I'm talking 50 pizzas) orders, but they are always friendly. This location is large and has booths and tables. You can see the pizza being made. Picked up dinner from Flippers Pizzeria and overall had a pretty solid experience. We ordered a large Quattro Formaggio pizza, a small Double Down pizza with added bacon, BBQ wings, cheese bread, and also got free breadsticks since the order was over $40, which was a nice bonus. Overall, everything was fresh and came out pretty well. The pizzas were enjoyable. The Quattro Formaggio had a lot of cheese and was very filling. The blend of mozzarella, provolone, romano, and asiago gave it a rich taste without being too heavy. The Double Down was also really good. The traditional pepperoni and cup & char pepperoni paired well together, and adding bacon gave it a little extra something. It had a nice mix of flavor and was pretty good. The cheese bread and breadsticks were also a nice addition and both tasted great!. The BBQ wings were decent. I would have liked them cooked a little more well done, but the flavor itself was good. Overall, it was a satisfying meal with several options to choose from. The only downside was the price. It is a little on the expensive side, especially once you start adding multiple items, but the food was fresh and the portions were fair. This was my first time dining in at Flippers. I've been to this plaza so many times over the years and never tried them. Nancy won a coupon for a free large two topping pizza, valued at $25. We stopped in on a somewhat slow Sunday evening and were promptly greeted by our server, Milah. Milah was super friendly and attentive. We ordered a pepperoni and mushroom pizza and antipasto salad to share ($13.50). Our salad was out in about 10 minutes and 10 to 15 minutes later our pizza arrived. The antipasto salad could have been a little bit bigger but it was enough to share during this meal. Our pizza had great flavor and the sauce was delicious; however, it was a bit greasy and the bottom was burnt in some spots (oven maybe too hot) but ultimately tasted very good so not a major upset. The restaurant was clean and organized and so were the restrooms. The two young ladies working in the dining area were cleaning and keeping things in tip top shape. It's good to see staff cleaning up when there's downtime, most places everyone is on their phone; great job Flippers staff. All in all, we had a delicious meal and great service so we will be back. read more

My first time here. I won a coupon for a free large pizza. I had it in my wallet for a while and we finally made it here! We ordered a pepperoni and mushroom large Pizza. Eight slices. Came out fresh and hot. Some people say it might be greasy but it was a lot of cheese and a lot of pepperoni on it and I thought it was delicious.! We also ordered an antipasta and shared it. The salad was also good and the dressing was tasty. Our server was Nilah she very good and attended to our every need. There wasn't very many people here on a Sunday evening so we may have gotten special service but I enjoyed the dinner and will come back again. The restaurant is clean and nice. Ordered a custom MyPie on a cauliflower crust. They have a fairly impressive selection of toppings. I always love to see ricotta on there. I tried their spicy charred pepperoni and some hot honey drizzle as well. The cauliflower crust was cooked well, nice and crispy with some light char. Pretty descent price for it as well. The service was quick and efficient, and overall the place has a nice look to it. They've got a few beers on tap. Wouldn't be to bad of a place for a casual date night. read more

Just ordered flippers for takeout. We ordered a large pepperoni pizza & an order of buffalo wings. The pizza was great ! Really tasty. Love the sauce, and the crust was good too (good balance between crunchy & fluffy). I took off one star because while their wings were tasty, they certainly were not "hot" or buffalo wings at all. Flippers Pizzeria was the pizza of choice for a Friday dinner. Is this the best pizza I have ever had? No, but it is a good choice to change things up. My husband and I ordered pizzas and Asiago Pepperoni Rolls. We ordered Hawaiian and pepperoni sausage pizza. Both pizzas were good. The Asiago Pepperoni Rolls are amazing! Those are our favorites. They also have salads and sandwiches in the menu which I haven't try yet. Our order was ready to pick up when we got there. Service was great too. This is my favorite pizza place, my family has gotten here many times. My usual is the Pizza Margarita, I can eat a whole pie of that by myself, the crust is beautifully charred, the tomato is flavorful, and the cheese brings it all together. My boyfriend and I come to this Flippers location every once in a while when we want some good pizza alongside excellent service. We love the "seat yourself" process because it allows us to have a choice on where we want to sit. The restaurant is always clean and comfortable, and the music is just loud enough for you to enjoy it during a conversation. Came when it was empty on a Thursday for spirit night for our school. Unfortunately they were severely understaffed and had no idea what was going on regarding the spirit night. We ordered 4 Mypies and after we placed our order, it was like 50 people walked in and the poor staff- who truly tried their best with what was given to them- were completely overwhelmed. It did take however 30 minutes to get our food and because we were there so early I didn't think it should have taken that long. People who came in after us were getting food before us. Because it was so packed our server didn't have chances to come to us and check in or get us our check, our boxes, our silverware, or food so a lot of that was up to me to go grab those things. With 4 hungry kiddos, it just wasn't a pleasant experience. On a lighter note, I ordered the Pig and Pesto MyPie with Cauliflower crust, and I loved it! The taste was perfect. Its conveniently located right by the Lake Mary farmers market so we were surprised to be the only people in there at 1130am. By the time 1230pm rolled around, every open table was taken. Heading from home on the road and stumbled across this place. The young lady is ver sweet and rather inexperienced but she's trying. The beer is cold which was a bonus for me at the moment. The pizza does take awhile but it's due to it being brick oven so understand. The ingredients were fresh and pizza cooked well. For me and my husband, we were hungry and the pizza was good, but just not a stand out with us. I was kinda torn on three to four stars, but being what seems to be a local business that is trying, we will give it four stars.
