I found FlexDolly by asking AI to find me movers that were both cost-effective and highly reviewed - and I'm SO glad I did! Before calling them, I had contacted several moving companies, left messages, and filled out quote forms, only to hear nothing back. I called FlexDolly and someone answered right away. My service rep, Jacob, was extremely knowledgeable and communicative from start to finish. I never once felt pressured - he actually encouraged me to compare their pricing and services with other companies before making my decision. From the time I booked through moving day, Jacob stayed in contact and made the entire process incredibly easy. I also really appreciated how transparent their policies are. Rescheduling, stairs, fees -everything was explained upfront. No surprises or hidden fees. On moving day, my arrival window was 8:00-9:00 a.m., and they arrived in that window! They brought their largest truck, and despite my complex having a VERY narrow turn, they handled it! Our foreman was Louie, who communicated with me that morning and throughout the entire move. The other movers were Az and Mathew, and all three guys were SO personable and kind from beginning to end. They worked at a great pace the entire time. You could genuinely tell they were working hard and efficiently - there was absolutely no feeling that anyone was intentionally moving slowly to run up the clock. And these guys WORKED. It was an extremely hot day, and my new place requires going up two flights of stairs. They stayed positive the entire time and I heard ZERO complaints. I actually kept apologizing for the stairs and the heat, and they kept reassuring me not to worry about it. Louie, Az, and Mathew clearly take pride in their work, and if I had the budget to tip them even more, I absolutely would have. They earned every bit of it. From Jacob helping me book everything to Louie, Az, and Mathew getting us moved in, I had such a positive experience with FlexDolly. If you're looking for movers, you won't regret going with this company. Don't wait - call them! read more

Best moving experience ever! Nas, the owner of the company personally supervised the packing of two 16-foot pods with his crew of young men. We have moved 30 times due to military life, and we've never seen such perfection in packing huge PODS! The crew were polite, competent, and fast moving. Amazing!! read more

I had a very disappointing experience with this moving company. After unpacking, I discovered that several of my belongings were missing, including an entire pot and pan set, a brand new bluetooth speaker, towels, an Instant Pot, various smaller kitchen items, and even canned goods. It is frustrating and upsetting to pay for a moving service and then realize that so many items did not make it to their destination. I expected my belongings to be handled responsibly and delivered in full. Unfortunately, this experience left me extremely dissatisfied, and I would have a hard time recommending this company to others. I hope they take responsibility for the missing items and make this right since my contract covered $10,000 of damaged items, However, this is not the case. The company will try to say that I relinquished my access to the insurance coverage by packing myself, but this is not true since I was already more than 50% packed when I signed their contact and they were fine with that. Now, they are refusing to cover my lost items. Do not hire this company if you expect any lost or damaged items to be replaced after a move. Especially if you pay extra for the $10,000 coverage and they refuse to honor their contract. read more

Movers were nice guys, but company deserves 1 star Timeline: Arrived 2 hours late (due to a prior move), took 2 guys 9 hours to move a 970 sq ft condo - took over twice the expected time. The foreman spent most of the time on his phone complaining instead of working with his partner. I was charged 18 man hours for about 9 man hours of actual work performed. Work quality: Movers rarely worked together, moved extremely slowly (lack of training? Overworked?), and caused damages--scratches, scrapes, and broken baseboard pieces they tried to hide. Zero accountability: When I reported damage, the owner, Nas, immediately deflected to his co-owner (who had already deflected it to Nas) and I didn't hear from Nas again. After weeks of runaround (I had to constantly reach out), a mover finally attempted repairs--took 4+ hours over two visits for what should've been a 10-minute fix (I know because I've done the same repair myself on a different area of baseboards), and it still didn't look undamaged. Overcharging: Nas claimed I should've hired 3 movers (he was the one who decided on 2, saying my condo was small and only needed 2 guys), then falsely accused me of having a spiral staircase to justify the costs. Just to be clear, I was extremely transparent at booking, listing anything that was heavy, explaining that my stairway was straight with one 90 degree bend, that I had 2 mattresses on a loft, but he said I didn't have a cold plunge or a sauna so 2 guys were sufficient. He refused further communication after learning I was dissatisfied with being overcharged for the work done. The only time he spoke to me was when trying to book an appointment with me. Two borrowed tools went missing until I repeatedly asked for them back. Owners completely ignored me on this. I had to ask the mover myself, several times. Bottom line: Owners deflect responsibilities and overcharge for actual work performed. Their 5-star reviews don't reflect my experience with them so please be careful when choosing your movers and read being the 5 star reviews. This was the worst moving experience out of the four companies that I've hired so far. I've hired other companies with guys who worked seamlessly together for an efficient move, were rarely slacking off, if at all, and didn't take things from me. I hired this company because of the 5 star reviews and of their story of being veteran owned. I don't know who those 5 star reviews are from, but this is definitely not a 5 star company. Maybe it was an off day for the movers? But I should've been charged accordingly. The company owners do not hold themselves accountable, blame the customers and deflect responsibilities to their employees. I feel bad for the guys working for them because they're nice guys who seem overworked. Moving is hard work. I hope Yelp doesn't get paid by this company to remove this review. Thank you for reading. read more

It's long overdue that I write this review...mostly because I was too busy recovering from moving... which, let's be honest, is usually a special kind of chaos reserved for life's worst decisions. Equal parts expense, headache, and "why do I own this many things?" Enter Flexdolly, who somehow turns that entire nightmare into... dare I say it... a good time. Yes. Fun. I said it. We've used Flexdolly for over five years, from simple room reshuffles to full-blown moves, and every single time Nas and his team show up like moving ninjas fast, precise, and weirdly calm about everything. They're hardworking, professional, and handle your belongings like they're staging a luxury showroom, not hauling your questionable number of throw pillows. But honestly, the best part? They smile. The entire time. During a move. Which feels illegal. If you're dreading your next move, do yourself a favor call Flexdolly and upgrade the experience from "never again" to "that... was actually kind of enjoyable." read more

Nas and his moving partner arrived on time and set to work straight away. We had some awkward items (piano & treadmill) and they handled them brilliantly. They accommodated our pets so well, were personable, polite and professional... and affordable.... No hidden charges! Highly highly recommend. read more

Justin & Louie killed it! Excellent moving experience from start to finish. They were efficient, respectful, and took great care with my belongings. They went above and beyond to make my move smooth and stress-free, all while maintaining a positive attitude. Professional, hardworking, and a pleasure to work with. Can't say enough great things about these guys. Scheduling my move was seamless as well. A+ Highly recommend! read more

OK- My review for Nas and Flexdolly is 10 stars. Everything you need in mover he will deliver. Big or small move. Easy, upfront communication. Speedy, yet very careful- and listens! Affordable and Nas and his crew, whether one or more extra people, will all go out of there way for you. I am so glad my gut said to cancel with another company and I am so glad Nas was referred to me, word of mouth. I must address the negative review.. not only for Nas and his company, but just to say something about the way some people use online platforms. Well, hopefully, you can read for yourself and understand. It often seems when a company or service is really good, you will see that a negative review can come from just a very difficult, spiteful person. Of course there are times a negative review makes sense. Not the case here. Happy moving. Nas will make it as pleasant as it can be. Oh- and did I mention, I will be using Nas for additional moves. No question. read more

After we dealt with some terrible movers, these guys literally saved our day. I'm just happy they were able to come so quickly. Nas and Ali unloaded our Uhaul truck in less than 40min. They also helped us out with some assembly. Super grateful for this crew. I'll be recommending them to my friends and neighbors. Thank you very much read more

After contacting a half-dozen moving companies, I'm thankful I finally found Flexdolly Moving & Delivery. I received a return call in less than 5 minutes and scheduled a last-minute small job for the following morning. After discussing the details, I received a more than fair quote that didn't tack on minimum times, fuel surcharges, and most importantly, only the amount of labor I needed. Pros: Excellent communication, On-time, Logistical Prowess, Courteous, and STRONG Cons: None read more

Excellent customer service. We used Flexdolly San Diego for our 2 bedroom house. Junior, Younes and the other movers whose name I unfortunately didn't get were all amazing to us. They wrapped everything that needed wrapping with their moving pad and shrink wrap, disassembled and reassembled furniture and put it exactly where it was supposed to be, and they were just incredibly polite, kind, communicative, and respectful individuals. Moving and everything that goes into it is miserable, but these gentlemen figuratively and literally took on a lot of the weight for us in the homestretch here. Use them and you won't regret it. read more

I used Flexdolly for labor only because I needed to move furniture around inside my home for house painting. Fast response. No fooling around. Showed up exactly on time, and kept me updated. The team was sociable and friendly while in my home. I was a little concerned about leaving a deposit to secure my schedule using Zelle with a company that I found on Craigslist. The risk paid off. They kept their word applying the deposit to the final bill. I had no issues and plan to use them again to put the furniture back once the painting is done. read more

Excellent service great people. If you need movers go with this company. Went the extra mile and took care of all my moving needs. 5 star for sure. If you're moving this is who you need. read more

These guys are the best!! They had us moved so quickly and were professional the whole time. They were very careful with our things and wrapped all of our furniture (included in the cost). They offer many services and were up front with all of the costs. We had no elevator and had 2 flights of stairs and they had no problems with it. Nas and Flex is awesome. I called him Sunday at 1pm and he had a truck and partner (Zach) within 2 hours at my home in La Jolla. Talk about a clutch, last minute move! Amazing customer service! Nas and .Zach are the most wonderful dynamic duo. I'm so lucky and grateful for their dedication and time to help me with a new couch . Nas, the owner, responded to my pricing query extremely quickly and was very personable and helpful in quickly answering all of my questions. It was easy to set up a date and time for the move, even though it was super last minute (only a few days in advance). On our move date, the movers arrived right on time and managed to quickly find a place to park in an extremely busy and parking-limited downtown area. They were friendly, hard-working, and took great care when packing and transporting all of our items. Packing up was a tough and lengthy process because items needed to go downstairs in a small elevator, through a garage door, and around the building to the truck; I appreciated the quality and speed with which the pack-up occurred despite these challenges. When we arrived at our destination, unpacking was remarkably quick, as it was a much more typical ground level move-in location with easy out-front parking. The majority of our items have now been unpacked and they did not suffer any damage during the move, primarily due to our movers' attention to detail. I also enjoyed chatting with our movers and felt very comfortable with them handling expensive items and would not have hesitated to leave them working alone if I had needed to step out. I appreciated that I didn't need to hover and oversee the entire process, as it reduced some of of the moving day stress. Moving is always expensive, but I felt the pricing was reasonable for the quality of the work done and the amount of time it took. There were no unforeseen or hidden charges, so there were no surprises when it was time to pay. Overall, I had a great experience with FlexDolly and would definitely use their services again for my next move! read more

Nas & Albert took great care of us when we needed a small move done between Del Mar and Downtown! Not only was it a last minute ask, but they even accommodated us on the time of day we needed, and the price was great for both furniture delivery + furniture removal. The process was straight forward and Nas was personable and professional throughout. Highly recommend this veteran owned business! read more

After referring a family member and having them use their services for a second time, it seemed that their quality of service has declined. The two people that showed up to help were very kind but it seemed as if they were recently brought on to the team and didn't have any experience. Not only were they over an hour late, but they took an absurd amount of time bringing things out and putting them onto the truck. I have personally used this service more than one time prior to this and never had any problems moving a one bedroom apartment for a very reasonable price to and from a storage unit then to a new apartment. This family member was also moving a one bedroom apartment but with way less furniture and boxes. Once it was all loaded up they headed to the final destination. Where they took a detour and got lunch without any communication of doing so. This whole move took over 4 hours not including the time we had to wait because they were late. Upon arrival to the property, there was no rhyme or rhythm as to how they were unloading which resulted in an even longer process and almost no utilization of the dolly they brought. Once all was done we got a price that was almost double than I have ever spent in all my 3 or 4 times I've used this service. For an experience that lacked in quality and professionalism. We got in contact with one of the owners of the company that I have met and had been present for every experience I have had while moving with them and they were not understanding. For the first time since using their services my family member wasn't even provided a quote, they didn't ask what size apartment/home they would be moving, and they showed up with a trailer not knowing if it would all fit or not. Since we were not expecting such a large amount to be paid we were not prepared and the owners would not work with us. They told us they were going to send one of the guys back to grab a box or two as collateral until we paid in full but we shortly received a phone call from the mover saying he was not comfortable doing that and to just give him an empty box. The reason for the move and the way it all happened was extremely stressful and the only comforting part in planning it all was that we trusted this company from past experiences. I have decided to revisit this original review because I am moving again soon and am disappointed that I will not be able to use their services again. If my sister had a better experience moving in with me last year then I would have definitely trusted them to move us into our new place. I hope this was a one off experience and other people don't have to go through the distress my sister did during her move. I would have honestly changed my rating to zero stars if I could. read more

Responsive, Reliable, Great Value! We called several moving companies to get quotes, Flexdolly was the most responsive, even on a Sunday Nas gave us a call right back. He gave us the best price compared to other companies and he was willing to work around our schedules. The process to confirm the appointment was quick and easy, and Nas even provided us with instructions on how to pack and prepare for the move, so we can save money since they charge by the hours. He and his partner Conner arrived on time and were ready to work! Despite our weird request to make 4 stops to drop off furniture at different places, they were very patient and positive throughout the move. They took care of the furniture and made sure nothing is damaged or lost during the move. They were friendly and polite, they also worked very efficiently. They made moving so much more easier! I would not hesitate to recommend Flexdolly to anyone. You won't regret it! read more

We had a last minute moving need, and cannot thank Flexdolly enough for their excellent service! They gave a wonderful first impression; they were the only company that responded to my request with a real person versus an automated response. Nas coordinated with me and gave me a quote tailored to my needs within minutes. On moving day, two movers arrived promptly on time and got right to work. Very professional and friendly! Nas and Louie made the move a lot easier for us. All with a fair price.

Like anyone, I hate moving, and my trust in movers is really low. Flexdolly movers were recommended to me by my friend Kayla, who had a great moving experience with them, so I decided to give it a try. I'm so glad I did. I'd shout it from the rooftops - if I could, of course! Nas and Connor were punctual and even went above and beyond, helping me with some random boxing and unboxing. They were really careful with my stuff, making sure nothing got damaged. It was like they had a magic touch - they got my old 2-bedroom apartment cleared out and the new one set up in under 4 hours. Finally, it was by far the best price and was cheaper - tip included - than any other quotes I received from other moving companies. read more

I found Nas with Flexdolly through Craigslist this past Sunday. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Nas after meeting him yesterday!!!! He is DEFINITELY a VERY HONEST & RELIABLE mover!!!! I had called around last-week, trying to find someone to help move 1 three-drawer ikea dresser to a friend's place. I also needed help getting rid of a very light full-size memory-foam mattress & 1 end-table...It is VERY DIFFICULT to find ANYONE, (EXCEPT for NAS!!!!) in San Diego (Mission Valley & surrounding areas) to move 1-SINGLE item OR a "smaller" load. Even when I called-around & spoke w/"junk removal" guys, the majority of them ONLY "removed junk", but would NOT move the dresser...I did FINALLY find a guy who would do all 3 of the items for $150.00...but I continued my search in HOPES for a more decent price... When I called the CL ad & spoke with Nas, he was VERY professional & friendly He had a MUCH more positive "vibe" in his voice compared to ALL the others I spoke to. He did tell me when I spoke w/him that he did not remove junk items. He texted a quote of $95.00 which was WONDERFUL!!!!‍ I met him yesterday, 01/12/22 to move the dresser. He did an AMAZING JOB, helping me to move my other boxes, etc OUT & BACK-INTO my storage TOO!!!! ESPECIALLY the HEAVY-BOXES, as I have back issues & pain. DESPITE that I HAD MISCOMMUNICATED over text about the 2-other items to him... He ALSO helped me discard of the other 2-items, which I am EXTREMELY & FOREVER GRATEFUL FOR!!!!‍ Again, I cannot EMPHASIZE on this review the SINCERITY, DEDICATION & EMPATHY he has to assist people who NEED a single OR smaller-loads moved!!!! Thank YOU NAS AGAIN & AGAIN & AGAIN...for HELPING ME get these 3-items moved & taken-care of!!!! read more
