The location is confusing to get to, and the parking lot has a bunch of one-way roads that aren't intuitive. The location is along a very main street (Viers Mill Road) and very busy cross street (Randolph Road) and backs up to residential neighborhood that's all surprisingly heavily trafficked. The parking lot is also strange. I've never before seen parking spots perpendicular to the normal row of parking spots at a Walgreens, and I felt wrong to park that way but I did anyway. I expected it to be busy inside given all of the cars in the parking lot, but it was a very quick in-and-out experience. The cashier was friendly, knowledgeable, and knew the point-of-sale system. It's always nice when employees are well trained. The interior was clean, the shelves well stocked, and the aisles easy to maneuver!

My father had received a notification from his app that it was ready for pickup. However, they would not let me get the rx because it is a controlled substance and the earliest I can get it for him is June 17. Okay, understood. I went home and made a note on our calendar to pick it up on June 17. Today (June 17) we went to get it at 7:30pm, and we were told that we waited too long to get it and so they restocked it. WTH. I'm sick and tired of the app telling us our RX's are ready, only to be told at the pharmacy counter that it's not! This scenario has happened too many times to count, with my dad, my husband and myself. Walgreens management needs to get involved and clean up house.

When I get a notification that my prescription…read moreis ready for pick up, I assume I'm picking up the right thing because I've cancelled and confirmed with a staff member that the unneeded meds are actually off my account. I don't know if they don't care enough to actually follow through or what the issue is, but also when I pick up they don't tell you what you're picking up before you pay. After you pay for it they won't refund, even if it's their fault for filling something you've cancelled. Shouldn't the pharmacist also be looking at all your prescriptions before they fill it and catching it if you're getting an abnormal amount of the same med? I really don't know, but they just don't seem to care. I would not recommend using this as your pharmacy.
