Swati was a pleasure to work with for my hair and makeup for my wedding. We did a trial first to figure out what I liked, and Swati was very accommodating about making adjustments based on what I thought from the trial. Swati is very kind and a great person to chat with during your wedding weekend! Swati also helped me get hair and makeup artists to help with some of my family members which also worked very smoothly! Swati was extremely professional, she was extremely punctual and did a great job with my makeup even given the limited time between my ceremony and reception. I really liked her soft glam style of makeup and was generally really happy to have Swati do my hair and makeup for the weekend. Thank you Swati! read more

I have known Swati and Reeti for several years as we've had a lot of common clients. I was able to experience their services first hand today! I've mentioned to Swati many times over the years that I'd like to get my hair colored by her - it finally happened today! The appointment started out with a short consultation where Swati asked me a few questions about what I want, and she also made professional recommendations to ensure I'm happy with the result. After chatting a bit, we started the process! The appointment took exactly as long as they said it would. Even though I hadn't given Swati a ton of direction, I feel like she knew exactly what I needed/what suited me - and the color turned out to be perfect! Swati also gave me a ton of direction on caring for my hair moving forward and explaining how often I'd need touch ups, etc. I'm extremely happy with the results! read more

Thanks so much to the SBS team! I can't describe how excited I was about all of my wedding looks throughout the weekend. Both of them so patient, flexible and attentive to all my input about my wedding looks. I always say your hands are magical, both of you are truly talented artists. My Mom, bridesmaids and I thought you were so kind, genuine, and such a pleasure to work with despite all the craziness with the wedding festivities. I would definitely recommend you both to all the brides getting married in the DC area and we hope to work with you in the future as well! read more

Came here with my friend for her wedding hair and make up trial, Swati and Reeti were both amazing. Even though I was just there to keep her company, I thoroughly not only enjoyed the company but to see their work was phenomenal. They took really good care to ensure that my friend got exactly what she wanted, but also made suggestions on what they would work best for her personally. Swati worked her magic on my friend's hair and Reeti changed her into a different (good way!) person with make up. I could see the pure excitement throughout the entire trial off of my friend's face. She came in worried that her make up was going to be overdone and that she would look like a drag queen and unrecognizable; but they reassured her and went through her preferences giving her everything she could have asked for and then some. Both Swati and Reeti were so friendly and personable, it definitely added to the overall experience of the trial. We're super excited to have them do our hair and make up on the day of the wedding. Highly recommend them! read more

Swati and Reeti are beyond phenomenal. They worked with me as my MUA team for my wedding and I recently went to them for my balayage hair color. I cannot speak more highly of them. They are dedicated to their clients and put in the time to make sure you have that exact look you are going for. They spent 6 hours helping me feel fabulous after no hair care for 1 year due to the pandemic. I am glad they are in this area. They also understand the aesthetic and hair needs for south Asian women whether it's for an event or for your everyday look. If I could give them 10 stars I would! read more

Swati and Reeti did my makeup, my sister in law's makeup, and my mother in law's makeup for my engagement party in April 2017. All three of us received compliments all night long! I also got my hair done in a cute updo, and it stayed up perfectly for eight hours. Great job ladies! read more

Salon SBS did a great job getting me ready for my wedding reception. I was going for a messy look for my hair and they delivered (a little heavy on the hair spray though). The makeup was just right - not overdone as many artists tend to do. They were friendly, professional, and easy to work with. The pictures turned out really nice- I'd recommend them! read more

Alright so I have lived my life looking for the perfect haircut/hairstyle and this dream of my was never fulfilled until I ventured here to Salon SBS which a friend of mine had recommended. I called and I talked to make an appointment and spoke to Reeti (I think that's how you spell her name) and she was so nice and enthusiastic over the phone, that I knew I was going to be going to the best place. I was given an appointment with great ease and today I finally walked in. I walked in and was greeted with the warmest and genuine smile, and was seen back right away. The place is super VIP, and made to fit to your needs. Everything looks new and side note: they also are MUA for weddings, and when I saw the professional photos they have hung up in the waiting area I knew this was it. I got seated in a fashionable new salon chair with motivational and inspiring quotes all around me. Swati whom did my hair was so elegant and took her time and asked all the right questions, and listened to my needs/concerns. She told me the shape of my face and what kind of hairstyles look best and recommended a few styles through her phone. I got my hair washed and conditioned and received my haircut/styled. And wow!!! I have never had a haircut/style this perfect before, I'm talking about those professional hairstyles you see online and on Instagram of model... I have been sold forever. I am always going to be coming here from now on. The waves and the style... wow words cannot state how amazing I feel and look right about now. Please do yourself a favor and get an appointment here, you will not regret it. Also the pricing is perfect. Thank you Salon SBS and Swati, you've got me feeling ecstatic :) read more

Swati was an absolute pleasure to work with throughout the entire process -- I had very specific ideas for all my looks, and Swati was always very flexible and patient in answering all of my questions and provided some very helpful suggestions. Right from the consultation, to the weeks leading up to the wedding, Swati was always responsive and supportive. She made an extra effort to get to know myself and my family, so when it came to the wedding weekend, we felt extremely comfortable in her and her team's hands. She executed all the looks (hair, make-up and draping) exactly the way I wanted, and even helped modify a few when she realized I might want to change a few things (for example, the way I wanted to wear my head piece) -- and was totally flexible the entire time. The best gift you can give a bride on her wedding day is confidence and that is exactly how Swati made me and my family feel. Thank you Swati and team for everything you did! read more

Swati has been doing my eyebrows for a few years now. She always does a wonderful job. She is very sweet and accommodating.

My makeup on my wedding day was excellent! I heard about Swati from a family friend, and had gone for a trial a few months beforehand. She was very professional and attuned to my specific taste. On the day of the wedding, she was on time and very efficient. I received a lot of compliments on my hair and makeup and I think she did an amazing job! I also liked that she played music and kept me entertained throughout. Would highly recommend! read more

Just got my hair colored, cut and styled by Swati and I'm loveeee! She actually listened to what I wanted to do with my hair, but also was honest with me and gave me her professional opinion as well. Since I have thick, curly hair, most stylists can't blow dry my hair right. But Swati did and I walked out feeling like a rockstar! Thank you salon sbs! read more

As a mixed Filipino girl with waist-long, thick, wavy hair, I am loyal to Swati because she knows exactly how to work with my difficult hair and cut/style it so I look beautiful. I have been getting my hair done by Swati for almost 2 years now, and she has always done an amazing job. She is truly is an artist and knows how to bring out the best cut and color for your hair. I am in love with the blonde highlights she does for my hair. I've also seen on her Instagram how incredible of a make-up artist she is for brides, and I am not surprised she excels in that area too because she is very detail-oriented. My fiance even got compliments on his hair after getting it cut from her for the first time. I am relieved I have found someone I can trust with my hair, but I hope she does not get too busy at her new salon so she still has time for me! Her salon is easiest to locate if you look for the brick business buildings between Chipotle and Epicure Cafe. (my GPS took me to Fairfax blvd but you have to turn into the brick buildings from Lee highway) read more
