Over the years, I have felt like it can be very challenging to locate a great dental hygienist. Don't get me wrong, the reception staff are wonderful, and the Dentists are top notch, but what keeps me coming back is my hygienist. If your story is the same, boy have I got good news for you. Dillon is simply outstanding. I actually prefer him to most of my family members. He is thorough, gentle, and also has a smile on his face. I literally drive 30 mins just for their services, they are just plain excellent.

The anesthesiologist Meryl was so gentle and I had very little pain getting the shot. Anna my assistant to Dr B held my hand and told me to breathe. When I was numb Dr B came in and had the area to be worked on prepped and began to extract the tooth. He took great care keeping the area clean and dry. He packed the area with new bone and tissue to plan for an implant as I have no chewing teeth on the left side. Dr B stitched the area up and prescribed a rinse to ward off infection and gave me antibiotics. Will see Dr B next week. The whole process was relatively painless and I was well taken care of by the staff. Best ever dentist and office.

Everyone in this office is kind, professional, and always puts you at ease with whatever you're having done. Their office hours are very accommodating, with early morning and evening appointments available if you need them. I've seen them several times over the last couple of years for everything from cleanings, to cavities, and more. Then, yesterday, August 7, 2020, I tripped over a small gate in our backyard, landing face first on our concrete walkway, damaging several front teeth in the process. I called their emergency number, and Dr. Babilonia answered right away. She asked me to text her a picture of my teeth, and upon seeing the picture, decided I needed to be seen by an endodontist, as the injury was more severe than she could care for in her office. Luckily, her husband, Dr. Hochberg, is an endodontist with a practice located near Montgomery and Pennsylvania. Agreeing that immediate treatment was crucial, she and her husband met us (I was in no shape to drive so my boyfriend took me) at his office within 45 minutes. Let me repeat that, just so it's perfectly clear. Dr. Babilonia and her husband came in on a Friday night, in the middle of a pandemic, to help me. Now you may think, well, that's their job, and sure, I wouldn't disagree with you, but they could easily have said, you know what, given the extent of the injury to your teeth and mouth, it's probably better if you go to the ER. That would not have been an unreasonable call to make. But they didn't. They gave up their Friday night to help me instead. Throughout the whole experience they were both calm, calming (I was a little freaked out), consultative, and clearly concerned about my physical, and emotional well-being. I'm going to leave a separate review on the page for Dr. Hochberg's business (Endodontic Associates of Albuquerque) as well, but I want to make sure I say how impressed I have always been with Dr. Babilonia, her staff, and her practice. Last night's emergency just solidified what I already suspected. These are good people, doing a good job, and taking care of their community. If you're looking for a dentist, you can't go wrong with Smiles That Work.

Their response was that, I needed to fill out the forms before the appointment. They made me cancel the appointment. Very rude and not helpful staff. The reason I made the appointment was because they have good reviews but they fooled me because the reviews that I read were old( 11 months ago, the most recent one). I do not know what changed but I definitely do not recommend this office to any seniors not familiar with filling out forms online

In the past I have had four cavities filled at once, braces, and needles poked into my gums. However, nothing compared to this Dentist visit from hell. The dental assistant took more time with my x-rays than the actual Dentist did on my cleaning. Mind you it's only been a year since my last cleaning but I did not know about this new invention of a mechanical scrapper for teeth cleaning. This tool seems only beneficial to the Dentist & Assistant as it saves them time. BUT your mouth suffers the consequence. It causes so much pain and feels worse than any cleaning I've ever had. After this invasive mechanized scraping was done, they simply brushed my teeth (no flossing), applied fluoride and sent me on my way. Mind you the whole reason I came in was for a back tooth that I KNOW has a cavity. However this clueless dentist says she can't find one. I tried to explain how when anything cold, hot, or sugary touches it that it causes intense pain. But nope, she didn't care. This was by far the worst dental experience I have ever had.
