This was a great example of how to make best efforts after a customer service disaster. I hope Terminix continues to give good service and remembers to practice great customer service. Technician was a no show to remove a critter from my wall. I have an account with Terminix, for now, and I called and scheduled an appointment to have them come get the loud creature out of the wall. I rescheduled my treatment and everything to be there on time and I was home an hour before they were scheduled to show, and exhausted. When I called to confirm they were coming the rep says, we don't have you on the schedule. She asked if I had an account and sadly I do, they come once a month. Didn't help that I had an account...She said she had a tech in Pottstown, 45 minutes away, great, right? NOPE, the Tech cannot remove the critter, she is not an exterminator. Unbelievable these folks are in business with their expensive ads. What they don't tell you is you need to have a critter in your home M-F, 9 to 5 and hope they remember to come when you make an appointment. I would have been better off calling Domino's and setting a pizza out for the darn critter.

He came and evaluated it and said it was a massive infestation. Then went on and on about all the health concerns. He said all of our ridgevents needed to be replaced with ones that won't let bats in. A few years later we had the roof redone and asked the roofers to save our special bat ridge vents that we paid so much for. All 3 roofers, in the trade for 20+ years, said "There's no such thing." Doh! Main Line Bat kept saying he'd send us video of the bats - never once did he send the video even though we asked multiple times and each time he said he would. We took him on faith. We shouldn't have. He was here while we were renovating. Every single crew remarked about how difficult he was to work with. Wouldn't do anything as simple as move his truck to let another by. In hindsight, we wish we'd had the scat tested as we now think it was probably a mouse issue with just a couple of bats. What a racket. We finally paid him off and sent him packing.

The vent caps came off our bathroom exhaust fans and birds nested into our crawl space attic. While two other "well reviewed" bird removal specialists would only access from the outside, Brent of Wildlife Infantry said his techs would access the attic, remove bird material, replace ductwork and then seal the openings on the siding with bird-proof metal vent caps. When asked, Brent said he'd used these vent caps for some time and stood behind them; these weren't "big box store", poorly made plastic vent caps. When the day came. Techs Peter and Jack arrived ON TIME and did everything Brent SAID from hauling off the old ductwork/nests to installing new ducts & caulking to installing the caps on hard to access holes. It turns out the starlings had ripped through our ducts and created oodles of nests in the attic. Peter and Jack answered all our questions. They were so COURTEOUS and EFFICIENT. We were so pleased!
