    Mozzarella sticks and pepperoni pizza
    Jennifer A.

Super cute hole in the wall. We had mozzarella sticks as an appetizer and a pepperoni pizza. I am a pizza snob and the dough and sauce were fantastic! If you're in the area don't miss this delicious but super cute and friendly place!

My husband and I decided to try this place after seeing a review on it. It was a bit of a drive for us from Tallahasse but it was well worth it. The place was cute and inviting inside. We tried fried eggplant, liver and onions, a burger with fries and a piece of cheesecake. Everything was good. We talked with the owners for a bit also. The only downside is you could easily pass it and miss it as the bldg is turned sideways so the front is somewhat hidden. There is a sign with tree branches saying its name and there is a small sign on the ground saying pizza. Maybe some advertising or more signs before approaching would be helpful. We do plan to return.

My husband had Flatwoods Burger served with fries. Burger was tastey and big, cooked perfectly, the fries are fresh, and crisp but not over cooked. I had the Black and Blue strak salad, nice size salad, steak cooked to perfection, tasty salad but didn't come with tomatoes. Service is fast and friendly. A family style setting with local flare. Owner stopped by to ask how everything was, which is a super nice touch that you don't get anywhere now of days.

Truly a hidden gem. Great food and great service. I highly recommend trying the pickle pizza. Anytime I'm in the area I go get one.

A little out of the house way but a nice place. The pizza was suburb. The staff and crowd was very friendly.

I may be one of the rare folks that isn't obsessed with pizza. I like it, but it's not something I…read morego out of my way to eat. Well, the pizza at AJ Moonspin was worth our drive up from Tallahassee! It was so over the top that we drove up again a few weeks later to bring family to try it as well. If you're a fan of sourdough, you will fall in love with the crust at AJ Moonspin. The tart bite of sourdough flavor permeates every bite of their crispy crust. I usually only eat the middles of my pizza slices, and leave the crust on my plate. This time... I ate every last bite. My husband went for classic pizza flavors with the Hunter's Moon , I indulged in lighter fare ordering the Harvest Moon. We should have brought a spare tummy with us because after we devoured the cheese bread, we were ready to roll out to our car. Regardless of the pizza you select, you will be "over the moon". Both of pizzas arrived quickly and well-made. Despite being very busy, the service was outstanding as there was always someone attentive to our needs. We brought our leftovers home with us and enjoyed them again the next day where they were just as good as the dining experience. You always know your food is well prepared when you can reheat it at home and still enjoy it as much as you did during a dine in experience. Helpful hint... Use your air fryer to reheat your pizza slices and the crust will stay crispy. If only the restaurant was closer to home, it would become our new takeout spot. Definitely put AJ Moonspin on your list of pizza joints to try. Your experience will be out of this world!

My go-to every time is the chicken piccata: perfectly cooked, bright, and full of flavor. It never disappoints. Don't sleep on their pizza either. It's seriously good and easily holds its own next to the classic Italian dishes. Add in a beautiful atmosphere that feels both inviting and polished, and you've got a spot that works for date night, family dinners, or just treating yourself. Consistently solid food, great vibes, and absolutely worth the visit.

I'm a longtime customer of Z Bardhi's in Tallahassee -- I've dined there 6-7 times, and I once hosted a group of 10 there. I genuinely believe in supporting local restaurants, especially after sticking with them through the challenges of the last several years. That's why this experience hurts to write about. I placed a to-go order recently, and what I received was shockingly poor. Had I been eating in the restaurant, I would have sent it back immediately. The Caprese Salad ($16) was listed as sliced tomatoes topped with buffalo mozzarella, basil, and balsamic vinaigrette over mixed greens. Instead, I received four thin tomato slices, four flat, uninspiring pieces of supermarket-style mozzarella totaling less than two inches, and one singular small piece of wilted lettuce. That's it. For sixteen dollars. The Caesar salad was equally minuscule and underwhelming. The large pizza with sausage, mushrooms, and green peppers (with the $2 per topping upcharge) was also disappointing -- most of the pie had almost no green peppers, and the sausage and mushrooms were scattered so sparsely that entire sections were bare. I understand restaurants can have off nights, but this wasn't an off night. This was a clear lack of care and portion control coming out of the kitchen. When loyal customers are consistently shorted on ingredients and charged premium prices for what feels like bare-minimum effort, it doesn't just disappoint -- it breaks trust. Z Bardhi's, I hope management sees this and takes it seriously. I want to keep supporting you, but experiences like this make it very difficult. If this level of effort continues, many of us who have been regulars will have no choice but to take our business elsewhere. We have options, and loyalty has to go both ways. Photos attached for reference.
