Whatever you do, don't ever ask for anything "out of the ordinary" or outside their narrow view of what a pizza can be. I simply asked if you could use Alfredo sauce instead of ricotta on a pizza you already make. After a bunch of back-and-forth, she finally said she'd "see if it was possible," while telling me it wasn't "authentic Italian pizza." I've been eating and making Alfredo pizzas for over 45 years, all over this country. I even made them for thousands of customers at three different locations down south. This isn't some weird request. You already have the Alfredo on your menu -- I just asked for it on a pizza instead of ricotta. Meanwhile, in Italy -- especially Northern Italy -- they have white pizzas with cream and cheese all the time. They just don't call it Alfredo. They call it things like: - Pizza Bianca - Pizza alla Panna - Pizza con Besciamella - Pizza al Burro e Parmigiano That's literally butter, cream, and parmesan on pizza -- which is Alfredo in everything but the American name. The original Alfredo even comes from Rome, from Ristorante Alfredo alla Scrofa, and nearby Roman pizzerias make Pizza Bianca al Burro e Parmigiano, which is the same thing. So if a customer wants to give you $50 for two large pizzas and asks you to swap ricotta for Alfredo -- something you already sell -- that should be an easy "sure," not a bunch of sighing and "I don't know, that's not authentic" like I'm asking for ketchup on a steak. I even said I'd pay extra so I wouldn't have to stop at the store to buy cream, butter, and Parmigiano just to make a white pizza at home. And honestly, with all the hate, tension, and things getting worse in this country, it's exhausting that I can't even call a local pizza place and feed my family without it turning into drama. People are already dealing with enough -- food should be one of the few simple comforts left. We're in Perry, Florida, not a Michelin-star restaurant in Rome. I'm not pretending to be a master chef -- but neither is the person making the pizzas. As a business, I would think you'd want to make sales instead of running customers off over something this simple. Customer service used to mean trying to make people happy. My husband and I were traveling through and stopped here for a pizza. We had read some reviews before going in. We saw they were under new ownership and the last reviewers were pleased with their food. Really liked the atmosphere for starters. We ordered a 12" supreme pizza. The menu did not specify what the supreme consisted of so when we asked the young lady at the cashier she didn't know so she excused herself and brought back someone who knew, who happened to be the owner. The young lady at the cashier apologized and said this was her first day. She was extremely polite and professional. The owner, was pleasantly guiding her new staffer on how to work the front desk. We asked to substitute one of the four meats (the meatball item) for just hamburger and they gladly accommodated us. We were also told it would be a hand tossed crust. So far we are liking this place. :-) The pizza was presented on a high top stand as many pizza places are doing. The presentation was good. The top crust looked like it might have needed a little longer to brown the crust. Once we pulled a wedge out we did see it was a very thin crust, which I like but the crust in the center most definitely needed more time to crisp up. Okay, so even though the crust needed a bit more love the flavors of the crust ,sauce, meats, and veggies were very tasty. Perhaps a little more sauce added would have been nice but overall we were quite pleased with our experience. The bonus was, the owner came over to our table to see how we liked it and we told her, "thanks for asking" and pretty much told her what you are reading on this review. She was extremely open to hear what we thought and thanked us for our helpful feedback. She even asked us if we minded if she could take back the section of pizza that was not crispy to show the help on how to correct this problem. To us, this place deserves a read more

Nice place in the middle of downtown plenty of parking friendly service and better than expected. Pizza for the area would definitely do it again and I will when I'm back through town inside has plenty of seating and some old town photos. There's also outside seating on the sidewalk good menu selection, but I just did a takeout pepperoni and it was awesome. read more

We travel full-time and eat out a lot, actually too much. So, we eat great food most of the time. This was not one of those times. On a positive note, I will say the young lady behind the counter was pleasant. First $30 for a veggie pizza is over the top expensive, in my opinion. Then we ordered ice water, she pointed to the soft drink dispenser. I filled two Styrofoam cups with ice and water. They charged $1.50 each!!! Nope, if I had known, I would have left the restaurant. She said nothing about charging for water cups. (I hate Styrofoam!) Now the pizza.....It arrived piping hot and was unceremoniously dumped on a pizza stand. No plates, no pizza server, no napkins, nothing. At first, it looked ok. But the crust was burnt on the bottom and soggy on the top. This is not a wood-fired brick oven pizza. This was cooked in an electronic oven in the back. No one ever stopped by to see how our meal was, if we needed anything, etc. My suggestion to the owners is to work on the dough and sauce recipes. Those are your foundation. Also, your oven temp is off. Pizza should be crisp, not soggy on the top and burnt on the bottom. read more

Worst pizza experience I have ever had!! The calzone looked like it was anorexic judging by how flat it was. My co worker got a $20 personal pizza for the smallest 4 slices I have ever seen. My calzone was mainly bread and they used the lowest quality ingredients. Overpriced and the service is not very welcoming. Overall horrible experience. read more

Cucinellas is a wonderful pizza restaurant. The dough is simply perfect thin crusty yet soft . The sauce is slightly tangy perfect to the taste. We prefer the vegetarian pizza . It is so Good! Oh and the Chief Salad will not disappoint. Highly recommend you give Cucinellas a try read more

Nestled in Perry' historical district at the intersection of Green and Jefferson Streets is this brick oven pizza shop. Unfortunately the cuisine was not as charming as their location. I ordered the meatball sandwhich. This was served on two six inch baguettes that were barely toasted. The marinara sauce disguised the tiny and insignicant un-flavorful meatballs that were dusted with shredded mozzerella cheese. While this may be their spin on a pizza shop staple, it left me wanting something else. read more

The place is nice and the restrooms are clean so that's a plus. I think the problem could be we got the "special" 2slices and a drink for $5 that went to $6 when we decided to have a fountain drink instead of a can soda. Pizza was very very greasy could be because it was in the pie warmer I'm not sure but the flavor was good once the grease was soaked up but the crust was basically completely soggy except the top 1.5 inches that was incredibly rock solid. Maybe the pies made fresh to order are better ? read more
