What a find! My new favorite Mexican place! The building is really run down, but the Good news is, they are moving across town soon to a better location! Yay!!! The name & food will remain the same we were told. So awesome. Bc we love the food at Casa Grande! (Big house) They make this amazing dish of cut up ribeye covered in cheese & set on fire, It comes with a plate of perfect French fries! So it's like a Mexican Cheese Steak frits! It's really really good!! It's called cheese steak flambé and it's the BOMB!! I had to come back ASAP to have it again it was so good. And again, it was the BOMB! It was even better the second time if that is possible. Get it! :)... Anyhoo, so the frozen Margarita machine was down but I had a Margarita on the rocks & it was very good. There are 2 for 1 drink specials all week too. Ole! The ice tea is also very nice. Everything is scratch made here. The steak fajitas I had the first visit were so yummy they had all these tiny cut seared veggies in them. The addition of the thin seared zucchini really made them off the chart. Very good tender beef Fajitas. Get them! :)... The second visit I had the shrimp Diablo. And it was even better than the beef fajitas! The shrimp Diablo was killer! It has giant juicy shrimp in this beautiful Smokey sauce, not too spicy just right. And it comes with a giant avocado pico salad rice & beans 2.die.4! Can't wait to have their shrimp Diablo again! WOZA! Delightful indeed Get it! :)... The chips and salsa were really good too & they have a hot salsa that is HOT! Like really good but 5 alarm hot! I ate the whole thing both visits. Really unique in house made hot salsa. Ask for it. :)... Anyhoo, we love this place & can't wait till they move into the new location! The steak frits cheese steak flambé & shrimp Diablo are two of the best Mexican dishes I've had in a long time & I eat Mexican constantly. Very creative & original. We can't wait to try more of what this Chef is doing. Im sure there are many more surprises on the menu here & we can't wait to discover them all :)... Can't wait to see your new place! Will return soon! Highly recommend!

    These are damn good!

Ok, this is a remote location... Florida is very very far from Mexico but you must consider two competing ideas; 1) the margaritas were great... best thing here 2) the ingredients for the food were anything but homemade. With exception of the "table side" guacamole that was made in the kitchen upon our order. Gordon Ramsey would have sent all the food back. everything back ...except for the guacamole. Nothing seemed to be made fresh "except for the guacamole and margaritas". The corn tortillas broke in half because they weren't fresh which made flour tortillas at least functional for the fajitas. The protein (beef and chicken) were little bitty cut up pieces of meat instead of strips of chicken and marinated skirt steak. The shrimp were okay, The covered in a white queso. Tomato My wife's enchilada sauce taste like tomatoes tasted like tomato soup. Clearly a clueless population that either drinks more than one margarita for eating the food or has no clue what Mexican food is supposed to taste like and Willing to give this place four stars. Food is 2stars, but the Margaritas and the guacamole dig them out of a hole. Plus the service was good And the sign was funny.

You definitely need to try the street tacos! I also like to order a bowl of queso to go with their fresh salsa and chips! This place doesn't look like much but is worth stopping at for their delicious food.

In town for the first time and of course had to visit my faithful Yelp for reviews on restaurants in the area. After reading a few I decided to give Casa Grande a chance. First I would like to say the employees ALL are very friendly and courteous. The restaurant was nice and clean. I called in my order and when I arrived only had to wait about 10 mins for it. The Taco Salad was good, chicken had a good flavor as well as the guacamole. I was also provided nice hot crunchy tortillas and salsa. I would definitely go back and next time dine in so I can enjoy the 2 for 1 margaritas.

Inside of restaurant very spacious. Great place.

Great food, ordered the Mexican lasagna for my wife and I got the super burrito steak, free chips and salsa were fantastic, authentic Mexican was around $38 with tip, also got one fried ice cream my wife loved it, I will come here again. A++++++*

Ribeye special - I liked it (a lot).

Some of their food is good. They have elote cups which I LOVE but they tend to over salt their chicken and beef on everything it's in.

Prices are pretty reasonable at $6 an hour during the week or $8 an hour weekends (per person). I've been with a large group and just one friend and the rooms have all been well sized for the different party sizes. We just use the iPad/YouTube to bring up songs rather than the machine. It works well and gets to a good volume. The rooms always feel clean and have lots of seating and movable furniture if you get a little more carried away during your performances. The reason I knock off a star is I find the drinks to be sooo weak, which honestly might be by design...The 6 shot sampler of soju seems like a great value at $10. But my friend and I had 6 shots EACH within less than 2 hours and it barely did anything at all. My friend VERY much a lightweight (like a 4-5/10 off of one shot) so that's how I know they're weak. They seem like soju diluted with lots of juice, which is refreshing but it's not like buying soju at the store and taking shots of it. I will say the bottles/cans are a great value at $4, but if you're looking to be tipsy/drunk while performing I would definitely recommend doing a little pre-gaming before you come. I understand they don't have a liquor license but it would be nice to have some stronger drink options available. The staff here is always super friendly and gives you a lot of privacy. This is a really chill experience and I've always had a really fun time. I just wish the drinks were stronger!

I didn't drink but they do have a bar on site. I'm not sure about food but it's near butler plaza with many food choices available after singing your heart out!

Apple Maps struggled to provided proper directions to parking and it might be because the area is under construction so just give yourself time to find Loosey's especially if going for dinner. It sure is worth the effort though, especially if you get Matthew as your server. He is full of wit and great local knowledge. He charmed our table from our first encounter. Loosey's has to be a local favorite because the quality and freshness of the food is outstanding. Matthew is a local treasure and made our experience there so memorable and fun. We all remarked that it must be so electric there when live music is on stage or it's a Gator game day. We started with the loaded potato skins. There were 5 large pieces that were covered with toppings and delivered pipping hot. I could easily order that as a meal next time I'm in town. Their house ranch dipping sauce that is drizzled on top was delicious. Several in our group ordered the Chic-fil Loosey's, which is a buttermilk fried chicken sandwich, but I wasn't able to grab a photo as they were so eager to get started eating it. The portion of chicken breast was extremely large and the batter was perfectly crispy. Both diners exclaimed it was one of their all- time favorite chicken sandwiches they had ever eaten. Another diner took advantage of their wing special and exclaimed the Buffalo Garlic sauce was fantastic and she paired them with their ranch as well. She loved their added touch of the small paper basket topping the plate of wings for the bones. I had the Classic Beef Burger and it was cooked perfectly. There was a nice peppery flavor to the grill of the burger and the patty size was more than I expected. Especially for the price. I was so happy we found Loosey's. It was really good food. I encourage you to look past the construction mess and the "old wooden bar" stereotypes and trust me when o say, they take great pride on preparing high quality food.

Beautiful day so we sat outside in a lovely patio area. Great beer menu with draughts imported or domestic as well as a full bar. The menu was pretty much standard bar fare I had fish and chips and my wife had Mac and cheese. The fries on my plate were covered in salt. I tried to shake it off and wound up with a layer of salt on my plate. Most restaurant food is too salty for me as I cook at home low salt but this was crazy. I decided to try the Mac and cheese. It also had a cap of salt on it. I tried to dig to the bottom of the crock thinking that wouldn't be salty but I was wrong. The dish was prepared with salt throughout. Time to go and I did complain. The waitress said she hears that a lot and she offered to replace our meal to go but we didn't take her up on that offer. The fish was great! And we loved the vibe of the restaurant inside and out. I would go back again but knowing that I would order SALT FREE !!
