Absolutely not. Did the beautiful young lady who waited on us at the cash register let us sit down and eat anyway because she knew we were weary travelers and we were tired? Abbso-effing-lutely. "You should try the wings" this angel told me. "You should say that softer and slower into my ear so the hairs on my arm stand up" I replied. And boy oh boy did these people honor that flightless bird by turning its wings into a culinary masterpiece. Coleslaw. Slapped. French fries. Slapped. Sliced beef sammich. Slapped doesn't fully encapsulate the taste. It was like that first slow dance with a girl in 8th grade where the chaperone told you to leave room for the Holy Spirit. The service was so exceptional and we were treated with so much love that I would be shocked if we don't exchange Christmas cards this holiday season. I will be back time and time again.
