They don't care liquor licence we got some orange juice Beth our waitresses offer us also battle or fountain soda or tea. So we are looking the menu now. Got the appetizers and did not get disappointed it was delicious all fried in fresh oil or at least noticed. We both got the Seafood pasta served with a side toasted bread. I ask to mine to be in a pink sauce with a touch of cooking white wine and extra garlic. The garlic were processed in very tini cubics . Of course they charge extra. Chef came from Long Island New York. Originally from El Salvador. I asked because my husband being a Executive Chef for Italian Cuisine got curios about the taste. TV on all the time a bit noise by the cleaning station. Down home style restaurant with an inviting interior. The garlic knots were crunchy on the outside and soft in the inside but definitely could use some more garlic and/or garlic flavor. I opted for the Gnocchi as it is one of my favorites. It seemed drowned in sauce and was not topped with mozzarella or tomatoes (as described on the menu). This is a fine little local place. Start with the good. Excellent pizza, nice thin crust, you can hold the slice and in stands on its own. Nice sauce, good cheese, not a bad word. The somewhat iffier was the staff were really not that pleasant, and I had to go up and get menus as they seemed to have forgotten about us. Also, they were cleaning the tables near where people were eating with a clorox mix. Whoa that stunk.. Salad was so-so, could have been a bit more interesting. I get it. Live oak is a small town with not many options. What may survive here wouldn't survive in a larger town. I think also this is a place where you get a pizza but maybe want to shy away from anything else. My dad ordered the eggplant parmigiana. What he received I would not call eggplant parmigiana at all. It was two round slices of eggplant served side by side covered in cheese. No multiple layers of eggplant. No breading that I could really discern. The eggplant was a bit tough as well. It was served over pasta which was at least dressed with marinara. The sauce was okay. I got the calzone. It was good, not great. I'd probably order it again as a safe choice. The ricotta cheese was a little runny/water inside. It had a generous amount of cheese. I approach places like this with low expectations. It was decent, not great or remarkable. read more

Let me first say that I've lived in this town for 37 years and I've seen restaurants come and go and this one still makes me wonder. I have been here three times and have ordered different selections each time. There is one thing they all seem to have in common, skimpy portions at best! Portions overall are very light for the prices printed on their menu. I spoke with my server who proceeded to tell me that I'm not the only customer that has made them aware of this. Despite their repeated attempts to notify the owner, he turns a blind eye to these concerns and if you ask me this is piss poor business management. My own parents owned three very successful restaurants over their lifetime and would be appalled at how non caring this guy is and wonder how he stays open. Live Oak is a small town and many people here cannot afford to go to McDonalds never mind an establishment like this. If you have an alternative place to eat, I would strongly recommend doing so. This place isn't even owned by Italians, no wonder they don't know how to prepare Italian food! I hope my $22 helps to buy a bag or two of frozen shrimp because that's the last they will see of me. Every time I call to order for pick up the girl say wait a moment and the Latina employee come to the phone and start to talk to me in Spanish last time I ask her why she give you the phone if I talk to her in English and she told me that she don't know. Management you should check your employee this is make you look bad. You don't should work directly to customers if you are going to act like that. Good pizza in the off the beaten path town of Live Oak, Florida. Service is good and the pizza was surprisingly good. I was surprised because since moving to Florida from New Jersey over twenty years ago, I found that good pizza is not the norm down here. In Jersey, there was a good pizzeria on almost every corner. Down here, there are more mediocre places with a lot of national pizza chains as more the norm. The places that are not national chains are often disappointing, as well. Possibly THE BEST PIZZA we've ever had! Easy exit from I-10. My colleague had the "Stuffed Double Meat" pizza and I had a sausage mushroom. Both were delicious and the stuffed pizza was perhaps the most beautiful I've ever seen and tasty too. Service by Beth was excellent. THIS IS THE BEST PIZZA AROUND!! My wife is from Jersey and we would frequent up there often. This pizza tastes like Jersey pizza. The waitress was super friendly and very patient with us while we decided what we wanted. The 16" pizza was enough to feed my entire family. Two of us had side garden salads and we tried the mozzarella sticks (Amazimg!!). Little bit of caution though, if you want a pasta dish it is freshly made (and I mean freshly made) with authentic ingredients so it takes 30-40 minutes to get a pasta dish. I just called to order a large pie and the girl says our fries. One in one size. I repeated myself and said oh, what can I get you. I proceeded to tell her extra cheese all over the whole pie. Stopped in here last night for the first time! Our server was super friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. I have to say, being born in NY I am very picky about my pizza. We started with a garden salad, big enough for 2 to share. We ordered the Chicken Parmesan Pizza and it was delicious!!! Real pizza! Chunks of chicken cutlet throughout the whole pie! This totally made our night since there were not a lot of choices for eat in dining downtown live oak on a Saturday night. Everyone was following CDC guidelines so this was a win win! I was hoping this would become my "go-to" place. Especially because it had a charm to it as I entered the building. Instead I was disappointed and not sure if I will return. My margarita pizza had absolutely no sauce. I found it to be dry and lacking of authenticity. The meatballs I ordered with the pizza were simply "ok" and sitting in sauce so thin it might as well been colored water. Both items over priced. I paid for 4 garlic knots and received 3 and an 1 that was only the size of my thumb. (And I have small hands). Maybe one day I will try again, but it would take some convincing. read more

After having a basic experience at another Italian restaurant, I wasn't too open to try any other Italian restaurants after; but I was craving some fettuccine alfredo from my mother and figured I could only get my fix from an Italian restaurant and I took a chance on this place. My girlfriend knew some people that worked there already and they had good things to say about the place so we knew we were going to check it out eventually just so she can stop by and say hi. This place blew me out of the water. I think this is the best place I've reviewed on Yelp, it was amazing! To begin with; our server was my girlfriend's friend and very friendly, quick, no complaints. We ordered two appetizers, fried ravioli and fried calamari. The fried ravioli was phenomenal, the taste of the fried ravioli itself had me ensured I was in for a good night having dinner here. The marinara was the best I've ever had, I say this because I don't like marinara but I could eat that with no problem; I would even say the ravioli was better with it! The fried calamari is the only thing that wasn't a 5/5. I'd give it a 3/5, the batter was too crunchy and overpowering that I couldn't really get a feel of the calamari flavor or texture-wise barely which is OK; it's something I'll avoid ordering next time but I'm not mad at trying it out. Onto our entrees my girlfriend chose jumbo stuffed shells and the waitress warned (not like advised her against it, just let her know it's very cheesy) her about how cheesy it is; my girlfriend took the challenge as a lover of cheese but it got the best of her when it came out, there was so much! They definitely don't skimp over here.. mix that with excellent flavors, great employees.. I'm dreaming about my next visit already! The shells itself and the red sauce it were covered in was delicious, I know because I pleaded for two bites because I was super impressed by the fried ravioli already and the shells didn't disappoint either. Great dish, highly recommended; I would even say it was the star of the show tonight with how well it was made. My fettuccine alfredo was rockin', it wasn't better than her shells but the seasoning was there, the portion was an ideal size on both of our plates as we took both dishes back home in a box. Highly recommend this place if you're in the mood for some fettuccine and/or would just like to try this place out! We also ordered some dessert for ourselves just to get a full experience from the restaurant, I had a cannoli which I'd say was good- I'd definitely order it again but again, my girlfriend outclasses me by ordering the best things for herself. The tiramisu was amazing. I'm a big fan of coffee flavored anything so this was a treat for me; the two bites she allowed me to get at least.. I haven't finished my cannoli because I'm stuffed but I took a bite and this was my first cannoli I've had before so I can't really compare it to anything but it was tasty. So if there's anything you learned from this review it's 1) you should definitely be visiting the restaurant the next chance you get and 2) my girlfriend orders better food but you couldn't go wrong with anything ordered to night; both were a 5/5 just hers shined a little more. read more
