All fast food experiences now are pretty bad, but this one was extra extra bad. Bad enough to actually write a review. Super slow, and clearly no one is in charge. For some reason, we waited and waited, and yet the food was still half-cold when we got it and not prepared correctly. Even worse, we ordered a vegetarian 7-layer burrito and they loaded it with ground beef. When I brought this to their attention, the response was "she didn't know she was eating meat?" No asshole, it's a bunch of barely recognizable mushy Mexican ingredients thrown in a burrito. Like Taco Bell beef has the texture of actual meat! If you're local, sorry for you. This used to be the best Taco Bell before Covid. Now the staff seems to absolutely not give a crap. They open when they want to... not to what's listed on the door outside. They will let you sit at the drive through on what's supposed to be "opening time" then proceed to tell you that we won't open until 8:30 am because we are behind. How about come in earlier and clean up and prep that way you can open on time... just a suggestion. Tough experience. There was human feces in the trash can. Also took 35 min to get food inside while 15+ cars went through the drive thru.

Upon entering this Taco Bell, we were informed that there was no ordering at the register but you had to order through their kiosk. However, only one kiosk was working. Later I was informed I could have used another kiosk if I wanted to pay cash. I had mentioned at the very beginning that I was going to pay with cash. No employees were helping customers that were being challenged by this ordering system. It was not well written or instinctual. There was a definite lack of customer care. The drink machines were out of order and they were out of large cups. When I asked the a worker how long the drink machines had been out of order, the answer was "months". I spoke to the manager and was informed That there is a work order in for it. I asked if the General Manager was aware of this and the answer was yes. This is just a horrible way to treat employees, leaving them open to the meanness of some customers. The person make the food was wonderful and seemed to want to please the customers, which was refreshing. I don't know if this is the direction that Taco Bell is going but I hope not. If this is a franchise- the owner or GM needs to take action and get things repaired and make sure that supplies are stocked. read more

Okay, if you haven't stopped by this Taco Bell then you're absolutely missing out. EVEN if you don't like Taco Bell you HAVE to stop by here. I'm almost positive they take photos and make their commercials from the food that is made here at this location. I've never seen my food come out just as pictured lol. They had 5 people working last night. It was the first time I had been there in some time, so when I walked in, the kiosks were a surprise but doable. Even though I used the kiosk, I expected maybe a smile or a "how are you", lol. None of that is happening at the Live Oak location. Tried to place online order for pickup in about 2 hours & ehile i have the app still in hand it switches to "preparing order" at 2 something when pickup was for 4pm, called them right away and the cow claiming to be managment told me they cant see what time its for and just make it when it shows up & would not cancel or remake it at the correct time so i was basically out $26, cant cancel from the app once they click on their end that they are preparing it. Called corporate and was told yes they can see the pickup time & would refund me for the order i never got....except they did not and did not call me back either so had to run a charge back with my credit card to get my money back. Live oak, Fl location: This place has become so sad. I grew up going to this Taco Bell location and it used to be ran so well. The service would be amazing and the food was always delicious. Now every time I want Taco Bell (which has always been my favorite fast food joint) I have to wait 40+ MINUTES before I even have my order taken. People leave the drive thru line because they get tired of the long wait. The person running the window goes 10 minutes or more without letting the customer know that there will be a wait before they can take an order. I've been sitting here for well over 25 minutes and I keep watching people pull away from the drive thru ordering location because employees are making them think they've forgot about us. I wouldn't complain if this had only been happening due to a few untrained employees but it has been happening since the beginning of 2022. The prices have skyrocketed and the service has plummeted. Zero stars, Taco Bell. You were a staple for this town for years. Now you're a laughingstock. I would rate lower if I was able. Such a sad disappointment. So we get off the highway in a motor home towing a vehicle and pull into the Taco Bell only to find out after parking that the inside was closed! Why we don't know! There were no signs saying the inside was closed, there was a sign saying the drive-thru was open, but that does not tell us the inside is closed!The motorhome is too tall for the drive-thru so I stood in line amongst the cars only to be told they can not take an order from me! I was told to place an order on the website! After standing in 90 degree temperatures we decided to leave and go to the Wendy's across the street and we were able to go inside to place an order! One of the best Taco Bell's I've been to. Just driving through town, we didn't want burgers and so we decided to grab Taco Bell considering the late hour on a Sunday. Service was perfect, friendly, order was spot on. To be frank, normally you don't get such great service at Taco Bell. They are not really known for it. Very pleasantly surprised at this one. Being an out of town visitor, we stopped for a quick bite home and this was probably the best Taco Bell staff I've ever seen! I was greeted with a smile, a great attitude, professionalism, and my food was up quicker than I could get my drink and sauces picked out. I have been seeing the commercials for a longtime now. I stopped for gas the other morning and thought I should try their new breakfast. I went with the cheesy burrito with steak. To my surprise the steak was tender and had flavor. The tortilla was also tender and this made pretty darn good travel food. You know something that you can eat and not wear while driving. I know it is not a good idea but I'm a pro eater. The other piece to my breakfast was their new breakfast crunch wrap. Which for those of you in rio Linda is a tortilla stuffed with egg, cheese, hash browns, and some rice (why I'm not sure) then wrapped up into an octagon shape and then grilled somewhere. Here they just thrown it all in the murderwave to insinorate it. Why I ask. Why do they murderwave it to be so hot you almost burn your mouth trying to get it out of your mouth. Almost causing a wreak now trying to find the chunk that I spit out. Well it really wasn't that bad for travel food after it sat on the dash for 10 minutes. Worst experience with a manager ever. When a honest mistake was made between a water cup and a small drink the manager insisted we pay for a small drink even after we told her that it was an honest mistake we would dump out the soda and put water in the cup. Then later on I was tending to my four-year-old daughter and accidentally spilled my drink after the incident with the manager being so rude to me I did not want to tell them that I spilled my drink until after we were heading out. Before I had the chance to tell them about the drink I had spilled earlier another customer had already told them as walking out to my car I get halfway across the parking lot and I hear the manager talk poorly about us. When I got home I gave them a call asking who the manager was that was working around the time that I visited when I ask I hear like they were trying to hold back a laugh. Purchase food from here often, But on 2-10-17 did me and my family in with the 12 pack of cinnabons we got. My daughter said they tasted funny and burnt her mouth was on fire, So dumb me thought I would try them figuring she is a wimp when it comes to black pepper. I wish now I listened to her. Personally I think they were / are poisoned. I was so sick, could not breathe. I still have some with box and receipt to take to health dept. For testing. WILL not eat here ever again. The Live Oak Fl restaurant is by far the best Taco Bell that I have patronized. I've been there only about 5 times -- but all 5 times, the service has been courteous and efficient with minimum waiting time. The food has always been fresh and hot. I go for the Chalupas and Taco combo. The shell for the chalupa is always tender, warm, and fresh and filled with great ingredients. This is the only place that I eat when visiting Live Oak. Keep up the great service and quality....................Oh, they also give a senior discount. read more
