I am a huge fan of Publix. Their customer service is nothing short of incredible and on top of that, Publix has different BOGO (buy one, get one free) deals every week and we can never forget their deli and their fantastic subs, affectionately known as "pub subs." With the reasons that I listed above, it is easy to see why Publix has become the leading supermarket chain here in the southeast. This particular Publix has a good overall ambiance and both inside and outside is a fine representation of the Publix brand. Overall, I would definitely recommend this particular location of Publix. I will give it five stars overall. Publix continues to expand throughout the southeast and it is because of the great customer service, great deals, and again, we cannot forget the deli department and those "pub subs" that has helped fuel the success of Publix. Go see it for yourself.

Nobody is confusing this place with the Disney World of gas stations. But Busy Bee absolutely wants you to know it studied the Buc-ee's playbook in great detail and copied enough homework to pass the class. And honestly? Respect. After hours on the road, I pulled in needing gas, caffeine, food, a restroom, and probably some emotional reassurance from the highway gods. Busy Bee delivered on most of it. First off, the bathrooms were clean. Not "gas station clean." Actually clean. That alone immediately moves a roadside stop up at least one full star in America's travel grading system. Then came the snack exploration phase. They had homemade jerky, specialty snacks, random road trip impulse purchases, and enough "well I wasn't planning to buy this but here we are" items to keep me wandering around longer than intended. It's the kind of place where you walk in for a drink and somehow leave holding candied pecans, smoked sausage, and a giant bag of pork rinds you'll later regret in silence. The overall vibe was solid too. Convenient. Clean. Easy stop. Good energy from the place itself. The employees though? Let's just say the staff had the collective facial expression of people who may have originally applied at Buc-ee's and ended up here after the universe made other plans. Nobody was rude. But there was definitely an emotional support shift happening behind the counter. Still, for a highway stop, Busy Bee absolutely gets the job done. It's a good place to refuel both your gas tank and your stomach before heading back into the chaos of interstate survival. This is probably a true three-and-a-half star stop if we're getting technical about it. But Yelp refuses to acknowledge the beauty of nuance, and I'm feeling generous today. So four stars it is for the little roadside gas station that looked at Buc-ee's empire and said, we can absolutely make a run at this thing.

Unfortunately many of aisles we low stocked due to hurricane preparation but we did get many other items. When we went back outside the store we noticed several other RVs parked in the far side of the parking lot and decided to spend the night there safe from the storm. Being that others were parked there and not blocking any business traffic we didn't ask permission which we usually do just to be courteous. I would like to thank Walmart for being a great company not only for their low prices and having items needed in emergency situations but allowing folks like us fleeing their homes in potentially deadly situations like a Cat 4 hurricanes. Also I would like to suggest to other campers that use a business parking lot pick up your trash and other trash that others left behind. Make some purchase s at the business they are saving you $50+ in RV park fees and maybe push a few baskets back into the store.

Whenever he needs a ride to the store, I happily take him to run his errands. It all comes back to supporting a local business. The owner "T" is a great person. Always helpful and friendly. I love supporting a neighborhood business instead of a chain like Shell, etc. They also have an amazing vape shop on Ohio avenue across from the old post office. I would check them out and again, support local businesses. They have a large selection of vape products, kratom and for smoking weed. The first time I went in I saw the other owner "Shell". I've seen him before but never really conversed. I was looking for a particular juice and coils. Had the juice but not the strength that I use. Also, they didn't have my coils. Right away he called his supplier and orders both for me. Came in a few days later. So if you need a specific item, no matter what it is, they will order it for you. And once again, it all comes back to a local business that wants to help out the customers. I only get supplies, cigarettes and gas for this location. Right in the middle of the neighborhood on Helveston Street. I hope you can support both of their business's. Ok I'm done with this very long post. Just shows you how much I love supporting them
