They have quite a bit of local produce but things not produced in the region or out of season are shipped in from elsewhere, just like any other grocery. The citrus, peppers, squash, and potatoes selection was especially good (in early Decemeber) and they have local cane syrup (from two different producers!), honey, and jams, jellies, and more. Of course, also fresh eggs and Nettles' sausage, as well. Supposedly when it's watermelon season this is THE place to come for your watermelon!

I appreciate them giving 50% off to all those wonderfully deserving groups but as a Veteran, I'm not going to spend that much money to save $3.50. And I'm insulted that they feel I should.
