This is one popular spot in N. Conway we really enjoyed our time in November 2020 so here is an update for March 2021: Service - Needs improvement - I tried calling for a 1/2 hour to get on the waiting list but it was always busy so we just headed there from Conway - They told me the wait was going to be 45 minutes so we agreed and waited. After 1 hour (and 15 minutes of standing outside) I went in and they said we were next in a few minutes... well it was more like 10 minutes but we got seated but I noticed there was several tables open. - You get placed on a Yelp queue which you can watch the line... we were stuck for a while. Atmosphere - Pretty cool - You can sit at the table and watch them make your pizza - I'm still amazed they can make so many pizza's in that one oven Food - I love that they have local beverages available - Family reported pizza was very good - I had a the sausage mushroom which was good - Son had a dessert which was very good too! Overall - I'm giving this place a solid 4 stars (last visit was 4.7) due to the service - Recommend they get another phone line to put people on the "call-ahead" seating list or some other modern way. read more

We love flatbread company! Yes, it's always packed (especially now with tourists), but their quality is not lacking! Our favorite pizza is whatever the special is of the day. But we also love pulled pork, onion, bad pineapple. The pizzas are baked in a fire brick oven, making the dough crisp and chewy at the same time, win! Also, they have great local beers and ciders too. The downeast pineapple cider is delicious. I stopped by after a long day of hiking and this just happened to be one of the only places open in the area. We arrived only a few minutes before closing and was super excited to find they were still accepting orders and we could grab a few pizzas to go. I ordered the Happy Valley Happy ValleyCommunity Flatbread and it was very yummy. For artisan pizza that was made pretty fast I was satisfied. I split this pie with 1 person and were both full by the end of the meal. So, I would suggest 2 people sharing if you are really hungry and 3 if you are all just going to have a slice or two. My only gripe with this location is they don't really pick up the phone. We were trying to call ahead and could not get anyone to answer. Luckily, we were able to get there in time and everything worked out but I wouldn't recommend calling because you will just be talking to yourself. But, great fast pizza that's a step up from a chain like Pizza Hut or Dominos with a less greasy texture. read more

Ordered 2 pizzas to go through their website, website said it was a 55 minute wait. I called just to make sure the wait was an accurate time frame and they said yes. I set an alarm for 55 minutes and arrived on the dot. The person handling takeout said that it had been ready for a while and they were starting to worry that I wasn't going to pick it up. My advice for takeout would be to order on the website and then show up 20 minutes after placing the order no matter what the estimated time is online. Staff were very friendly. Pizza was so/so. This review is not about the food. We arrived and were seated 2 ft from a 700 degree pizza oven that was continually loaded with wood while we sweat and requested pitchers of water. I'm very picky with the pizza I like and Flatbread was everything I wanted and more! My husband and I split the Mopsy's Kalua Pie with chicken and the season whoopie pie for dessert. The pizza was amazing, the BBQ sauce they use was a perfect mix of savory and sweet. Typically, my husband hates pineapple, but he said on this pizza it was great! The whoopie was heated in the pizza oven so it was nice and warm when it got to our table. It had a maple whipped cream which was outstanding. Truly wish I had a better experience here! I will start by saying I had a horrible waitress which is why this place gets a 3 star. "Susie B" as out receipt says was just miserable. She didn't have any personality, zero care for our orders, drinks, or food. She didn't come around to see how we were doing or ask us if we needed anything. And when we ordered dessert, it took her several minutes into it before she just sloppily put spoons down. She knew we had never been there before, so some care or interest would've been nice. The place was pretty empty so I know she wasn't busy. In regards to the place and food, I have no complaints. It is very hard to find however! It's tucked away on the side of a hotel. We got the harvest pizza and it was delightful. It had tons of flavor and it was the perfect fall pizza! The entire area is set up as an open concept. You can see the guys making it, putting it in the fire oven, and taking it out to cut it for you. The turnaround period for it seemed like only minutes. If I had a better experience for my first time, I would go back. But this girls horrible service skills are something that would tell me to stay away. It's a shame. read more

After a bad experience at another restaurant in town, we came here. We won't return. Water stains on the interior curtains and the tarp on roof caused us to rethink this place. The pizza had barely any vegetables and goat cheese. One thing that I learned years ago was when you make a pizza, each piece should have all of the ingredients on it so if only one slice is eaten by someone, they experience the whole pizza. This is like a lottery. Some slices got all the olives. Some got olives and peppers. Some got a chunk of goat cheese. One just plain cheese that was void of vegetables! I think just about a third of pizza had it all. And, to burn my ass, the restaurant adds to the check a tip for the kitchen. This increases the tip to the waitstaff if you include it. So, you are tipping on a tip for a sucky pizza and for a staff that barely returned and for a restaurant that has dirty tables and you have to look at a row of broken and dented propane heaters and leaky roof that water stained the dirty curtains. Another Conway attitude. Go to Bethlehem, It is a nice town with a great brewery and excellent ice cream. read more

After our great train ride on the Conway Scenic Railroad, our friends took us to the Eastern Slope Inn Resort to have dinner at The Flatbread Company. We were especially interested in seeing the copper canopy over the huge fireplace that was made by our host's father in the 1950's and is still there today. The restaurant is part of the resort and has a really interesting design. The assistant manager, David, and Suzette, our server, were so welcoming and friendly and tended to our every need. Tim started with a Blue Cheese salad that was really crisp, fresh and tasty that he shared with me. Andrea ordered a large Mopsy Chicken Pie which she shared with Tim. My husband had the small Cheese and Herb Flatbread with Blue Cheese, and I had the small Georgetown Community Flatbread. Oh my - we were so impressed with the size and the taste of the pizzas. Went around 5pm on a Saturday expecting a little wait, but they got a table for 2 in within 10 minutes. The staff was friendly and very fast with our service. We ordered a large Jay's Heart with the uncured pepperoni on half, and the two of us devoured the whole thing, it was THAT good. The contactless payment option was nice and really easy to use. I've done this at other restaurants before but this one was the fastest and easiest to understand, and the confirmation that it went through from the staff was also really nice. (The last place I used this type of option the manager followed me out accusing me of a dine and dash until I showed her the confirmation on my phone.) This is our favorite place for dinner in the N. We stopped by for dinner. They surprised us with the menus. The menu had hand made drawings made by kids. It was the sweetest thing and it really give the place a family feeling. We ordered the salad, a large flatbread and the brownie. The salad was great. The sauce was very good and the veggies were fresh. The only issue was that it wasn't mixed. We mixed it on our plate though. The pizza was almost too good to describe. The open fire they use to cook the pizza makes the crust perfect. The caramelized onions were also very good. Oh Flatbread. We have loved you for so long but you're slipping. We were seated promptly outside and watched three waitresses ignore us for 10 minutes. Finally one took our lunch order and drinks arrived via bartender quickly. We thought it must be packed inside and were surprised to see an abundance of free tables inside when we used the restroom. The salad we ordered never arrived, and the pizza came first & was delivered by a fairly rude staff person. We were shocked at our treatment, and the very apparent lack of camaraderie and attention to detail. They did have signs saying they were looking for help, but we saw lots of servers and kitchen staff, so I'm just not sure what happened this afternoon.
