I e said n Massachusetts and I travel here once a year to get this pizza!!!!! I crave the mushroom pizza! It's overloaded with canned mushroom ( I love them don't judge ) They seem to have a special cheese blend that is island buttery... also they add a nice dash of oregano to it. Ohh and do r skip the salad... the Greek dressing is delicious! It is n a barn with no air conditioning but the f you going the evening it's comfortable! Definitely give this place a try! I really wanted to like this place. I love the outside feel and I'm sure it's good for some people. However, the fact that they use canned mushrooms is just not my thing. I prefer as fresh as you can get but they did put a lot of toppings on. It was just not a lot of good toppings. I think the pizza overall was not good at all. There was too much cheese that you couldn't even taste some of the toppings cuz we got chicken too and I couldn't even taste that. But my brother does love it but I think you have to love pepperoni in order to love this place. read more

We recently got takeout from the Pizza Barn in Center Ossippee, NH- The location is very cool. Rustic but clean. The service was fantastic- very helpful. The food was just OK. The Chicken Broccoli Alfredo was OK, but lacked flavor. The Taco pizza was covered in cold cheese and the tomato/taco sauce just tasted off. All in all, not a great meal. Remember it being a whole lot better. Would not recommend. read more

The pepperoni pizza was definitely one of the best pizzas plus the fries, onion rings, and mozzarella sticks were incredible. The service was pretty good with the waitress being nice, the ambiance was also pretty quiet. Overall I recommend coming here and getting the pepperoni pizza. read more

This is an old school pizza place. Pinic table seating both indoors and out. Small arcade in the back for kids. Their pizza is a thin, almost cracker crust. They also sell subs, pasta dinners and have a decent selection of salads. Beer, wine and soda. They also have their own ice cream which is unbelievably good. I got the bacon maple and it was delicious. Some have pointed out that the pizza was greasy. The only greasy pizza I have ever had from here was the pepperoni and that is because it is loaded with pepperoni. Frankly for the price of the pizza, one would expect it came loaded with toppings ( which is does). The Taco pizza has a ton of meat and cheese on it. I would much rather have that, then pay $3.00 a topping at other places, and get a smattering of toppings. The sauce is slightly sweeter than a traditional pizza place. Oh Pizza Barn. If you are from the Conway area, Pizza Barn is your pizza place. A local fixture for decades, this is the place you come to if you want a quick size or two, but don't really care about anything else - you are hungry and just want food. This is a no frills establishment. More akin to a boardwalk pizza joint than a middle of nowhere barn. Pizza barn is exactly that - a barn... where they sell pizza. There are other things on the menu like pasta and salads. The salads are meh - maybe because of the presentation. Again, you're only here because you are very hungry. The pizza was Uber greasy, but surprisingly good. The crust is super thin - so if you don't like thin crust, don't come here. The garlic bread was ok - dry - with a slice of mozzarella (not fresh mozzi)? On top, melted. They have ice cream in pre-portioned cups that the kids enjoyed. No other desserts. If you are in a wheelchair, stay away. There is no wheelchair access, as another reviewer mentioned. Someone would have to lift your chair up with force over a 6 inch step. Also, if you have issues swinging your legs around a picnic bench, avoid this place as well as there are no chairs - just benches - inside. All in all, If you don't care about ambience, presentation or frills - you are just hungry and want decent pizza, this place will suit you just fine. You have long wooden picnic tables that are family style, and you get massive pizzas delivered to your table with (and I am not kidding) pounds of toppings. My only word of caution is read the menu correctly! I was shocked when our large pizza was $26! A large cheese is $15.70. I thought the two toppings were two dollars & change extra, but that is for veggie toppings! Meat toppings on a large pizza are $5.00 per topping; hence our $26 pizza! TIP: Get the pizza well done, to hold those toppings. Big, crispy, greasy pizza and a Pabst Draft in a barn in the NH woods. Hangover cured. I've seen this place hyped up on social media. We finally stopped in with our kids. The place is cool, felt like I was back in 1986 with old school video games and a rustic vibe. The pizza, on a 10 point scale, I'd give the pizza 3.5/10. Wayyyy too much sauce. The toppings seemed to be canned. I can usually eat 4-5 slices and could barely eat two. Having to scrape sauce off the pizza to even enjoyed it. My kids barely ate anything. The prices were outrageous. We left having a 75 dollar bill for 1 large Hawaiian and a small cheese and 4 sodas. More than anything I was just very disappointed after all the hype. Terrible pizza. read more

Great pizza! This is a must stop in and eat every year when the family and I go on vacation in Freedom NH. Very rustic atmosphere with picnic tables and a very laid back atmosphere. Went here on a Friday about 5pm. We were hoping to sit outside, but you have to order takeout, and then sit at the picnic tables and it would have been a 45 minute wait. We decided to just eat inside since we would be there waiting for our food. I will start with the positives, they seemed pretty organized and the staff was friendly. There is currently a labor shortage, so like everywhere, the service was slow. The server was nice, but clearly overworked. The pizza was not good. Not good. After driving by Pizza Barn many times, I finally checked it out last week and was not disappointed. It was exactly what I thought it would be. An old barn full of long tables and benches that serves pretty good pizza. It appears to be popular with locals and snowmobilers. Staff was friendly with short wait times on food. The pizza was good American pizza. Not the best I've ever had, but totally acceptable for Ossipee, NH. The crust sort of reminded me of fried dough. The 12" pie was fine for two people as was the large salad. The pizza is also very heavy on the toppings. If you don't want to deal with the crowded tourism and long wait times of North Conway restaurants, I recommend heading south and checking out Pizza Barn. I will definitely be back. Also, I highly recommend their homemade ice cream that comes in flavors like peanut butter cup and salted caramel. read more

After years of driving past this place while heading into North Conway, my husband and I this time were staying in Ossippee so we finally had the opportunity to try this place out and we were not disappointed! We ordered take out. A large half cheese/half bacon & pineapple pizza. An order of barbecue wings and a Steak & Cheese Sub. Everything was delicious!!! I personally LOVE their red sauce it has a sweet and tangy flavor. Even the crust is yummy tasting. The barbecue wings were made perfectly and the Steak and Cheese sub was really good too. Staff was friendly and the atmosphere inside is really nice. The only bad experience we had which has nothing to do with the restaurant or staff itself but rather a rude customer who clearly never learned that it's rude to be all up in someone else's personal space ESPECIALLY during a pandemic! A very impatient woman standing so close to my husband he could feel her breath literally reached over our pizza box while my husband was holding it and trying to pay at the counter! He had to actually say something to her because WHO DOES THAT?!?! I guess she needed to change her gluten free order but come on! Me & the wife rented an air b & b in Tamworth NH. On the way we stopped at The Pizza Barn. Ordered a ham, sausage & broccoli pizza. It was the most delicious pizza I've ever had. Wife said the same. I went to Pizza Barn last Friday night with a buddy after a hike of Mts. Whiteface and Passaconaway, and we split a large pepperoni pizza. There was more pepperoni on this pie than any pizza I've ever eaten. My buddy and I ate it in the parking lot and had a couple cold 'sodas.' The pizza was definitely on the expensive side ($25), but it was a lot of food. The restaurant is offering indoor and outdoor seating, and it was busy. We ate it at out of the back of my car. I definitely wouldn't eat indoors during the pandemic, and the restaurant was more full than others I've seen. It was busy inside and outside -- we waited about 30 minutes for our order.
