We chose to go to Flatbread co. For dinner because we've been hearing great reviews about this place. This pizza was delicious! The ambience of the restaurant is cozy and intimate. The oven where they cook the pizza is out in the open and you can see your pizza being made in real time. This also fills the restaurant with a pleasant aroma of freshly baked flatbreads. We ordered our drinks, two mocktails that contained ginger beer and apple cider. These took a bit to come out, but they were absolutely delicious and we got a large glasses so it was worth the money. For our flatbreads, we went with two small: coevolution with maple fennel sausage added, and a harvest flatbread. These were both awesome, baked well and full of flavorful ingredients. I especially loved the maple sausage and the squash pieces. Both of the flatbreads were gone with no leftovers in sight. We of course had to try their dessert, which was a cinnamon apple crisp and barbaras homemade brownie sundae. The sundae was GREAT! The warm brownie, chocolate sauce and cold ice cream were a heavenly combination. The other dessert was pretty good but didn't have much wow factor to me. Our waiter, Shane, was wonderful, very helpful and polite. I also loved this place because they seem to give back to the community frequently and are very involved with charities. Solid pizza for thin crust lovers with a special callout to fresh, organic pizza ingredients. The chicken bacon ranch was a favorite with a delicious ranch sauce and not too greasy from the bacon. Even the cheese pizza was well seasoned and better than the average cheese pie. Portion sizes were average for a large - two was plenty for 4 adults and 3 kids. The house salad was different and not for everyone. However, for me the celery and kelp with sesame ginger dressing worked well together for a great flavor combo that was different than an ordinary salad. The salads are pretty small though and really for one, maybe two people. We did takeout and it was 30 min for the order to be ready. There is a separate takeout window for takeout orders and the restaurant is actually connected to the inn so it's easy to miss. Quality pizza and worth a try! read more

This is our second time in the North Conway area and this time we wanted to try a few different places. I was really in the mood for pizza because it's usually something we don't get that often when we're in other states outside of NY, NJ or CT. Something about this place though, from what I was reading on line, was telling me it was going to be good. It's kind of a hidden spot connected to a hotel. The inside of the place looked pretty cool and they had a big wood fired oven and you could watch them making the pizza which is fun. We ordered a Jay's Heart which is basically a regular cheese pie and another smaller pie which I can't remember cause as I'm writing this review it's been a few weeks since we've been there, but the important thing is I remembered how the pizzas tasted and my wife, son and I all loved it. The crust was really good and crunchy, the cheese and tomato sauce was also very good. The pie I totally forgot the name of was surprisingly really good cause it was something we wouldn't normally order but we wanted to try and we were glad we did. This is definitely a spot we would go back to every time we visit. Only problem is that we don't have this place at home. Also, if you have kids they give them paper and crayons and put their artwork in the menus. So if you want good pizza or flatbread this is THE place to go. read more

Went here for a little lunch and we were glad we chose this spot. Huge space with some nice outdoor seating. Service was good, a little slow, but still good. We got spiked peach iced teas and the street taco pizza. We were skeptical of this pizza at first but when it arrived it looked amazing and tasted even better. The pizza was thinner than main stream pizza but still soft dough [not a cracker crust]. It didn't have any burnt or blackened parts which was a plus, since you will tend to find that with live fire cooking. The toppings were very fresh and everything was organic. The pepperoni slices are huge and thin and the pizzas were heavily seasoned making you want to have slice after slice. The pizza was also cut into strips instead of traditional triangles so it was easy to sample a little bit of everyone's. The salad dressing was also very good and homemade! The price was the only downside but when you consider how fresh and organic all of its ingredients were it is worth coming here on occasion. read more

I paid $44 for a custom made to order pizza to go, that came with missing ingredients: no sauce, no cheeses, and only a few mushrooms. The sausage and caramelized onions came through with nice flavor however, paying for the other ingredients and not getting them on my pizza was definitely disappointing. After a day trip in the area we decided to stop and see if Flatbread was taking reservations. We were able to join the Yelp waitlist when we parked and we were seated as soon as we got in. We ate inside, ambiance is interesting with the brick ovens right there, but the large dining area seems like you're in a covered patio and is loud. This was fine for us! We were seated at a two person table, and our food wasn't able to comfortably fit on the table with us. I had the potato pizza special and my husband opted for gluten free pizza. We're locals and so much wanted to love this new location for this restaurant, we took some out of town friends and could not have been more disappointed with their pizza. I just don't understand how you can specialize in "pizza" and miss the mark so badly!! Granted the pizza is very thin - that's the style and not what i didn't like about it. They put the absolute bare minimum topping on the pizza regardless of what type you order. Our guest ordered the special which was supposed to have about 5-6 different toppings on it. They could barely locate and identify half the ingredients that were supposed to be on the pizza. It was literally about 40% less than one would expect !! I just had a pizza with a couple toppings - same thing on mine. What they do give you is a ton of bland crust that we couldn't even choke down. See pic of the crust left over from two pizza's. One might think for what they charge and how thin the pizza is, the least they could do is put an appropriate amount of toppings on. I would be remiss if I didn't say the service was great! The staff throughout the restaurant was very pleasant! When our guest told our waitress their disappointment, she offered to make them a new pizza. Unfortunately, it about as thin as their first one on toppings and again mostly crust. Apparently that is their go forward strategy! Great place. It's located in downtown North Conway walking distance to the park and Zeb's general store. It's located in an old hotel with plenty of parking. If there's a wait you can hang out outside, shop at neighboring stores or visit the hotel lobby. There probably will be a wait since this place is very popular. We were seated near the kitchen and it was fun to watch them rolling out flatbreads. Some of the menus had hand drawn covers by children which was fun. The flatbreads were all great. The kids in our party even ate the crust which they almost never do. I especially recommend the Kalua Pie. It was sooooo good. They cut the pies grid style which unfortunately led to a few pieces that were mostly crust. Also there was a pretty big error on our receipt where on pie was charged at $145! So always make sure. You check your receipts. They fixed it fairly quickly. But the food it so great here and the waitstaff was friendly. 5 stars. read more

Well it didn't take that long actually even on a Saturday night. It's surprising how expensive pizza is getting these days but they are also more gourmet.
