Hostess Bianca was very friendly and informative. Social distancing was on point. She led us to our table very nicely and our waitress Amanda introduced herself literally within 30 seconds. She informed us of all the specials and happy hour information... took our drink orders and returned quickly. I had the seafood gumbo and fire cracker shrimp... which were both delicious. Apparently each location makes their own gumbo... which I've enjoyed at several locations... but whatever this location does for their gumbo definitely makes it the best. My 8 year old thoroughly enjoyed the dinosaur chicken bites with fries. We ordered ice cream with caramel and the ice cream is just top notch. Amanda was at our table several times to check on us... refilled my water and just truly did a wonderful job. On this visit, the office crew was looking for lunch. I would normally say quick for a workday but this was not. The menu is your typical bar fare with their quirk to call fries "potatoes"... they are fries. Just say it. lol Most of the food was fried so healthy dining was not easy to find. It's been years since I have been to a Flanigans. Throughout the years I have been to quite a few locations and the food has always been decent. I guess with so many other options around, Flanigans has stayed under my radar. I have to admit I really enjoyed my dinner and was pleasantly surprised at just how good the food was. My sister and I stopped in for a quick dinner on Saturday night. We got to the restaurant at about 6:30ish. We gave the hostess our name and we were asked if we wanted to dine inside or at an outside table. It was sort of chilly so we said we would wait for an inside table to become available. We were told the wait should only be about fifteen minutes or so. Within a few minutes we were escorted to our table. My sister and I decided to share an appetizer and a burger. For our app we shared the Smoked Fish Dip. The dip tasted very fresh and had a spicy kick to it. I loved it. It came with carrots, saltines and fresh-made tortilla chips. My sister asked for jalapeno peppers on the side. I thought the serving was rather large considering it was only $5.99. It was full of flavor, very fresh and not overly dressed. I could see myself going back and ordering this as my meal. For our main dish we shared the Bahama Burger without the bun. Priced at only $8.29 the 10 oz. charbroiled burger was delicious. It was perfectly cooked and nice and juicy. This was just a simple burger without cheese or any crazy toppings. The burger came with lettuce, tomato and a pickle. For our side we chose the curly fries. This is where I am holding back the 5th star. The fries were heavily salted and not cooked enough to make them crispy. Next time I will ask them to make the fries well done and see if they can prepare them with less salt. The burger is a winner in my book. Our server was good and I thought the prices were very fair. Our waitress Ari was SO nice, and it is not easy to get good service these days... the manager also passed around our table a few times (at least twice) to show he was watching, outstanding service! Ok now to the food... we went there for my daughters graduation (from College) she and her fiancé and my husband and I decided to get the deals that they offered through out the week... Monday through Thursday that comes with a salad, three garlic Knots, and a drink plus your entree! My husband got the prime rib, my son in law got the ribs, my daughter got buffalo wings and I got shrimp and we all got fries! lol and they were all great! We came for my daughter's 8th birthday, yes she requested the nice Flanigan's by the water. This is the nicest one of them all because of the location. My wife and I got the ribs and the Philly cheesesteak sandwich, we always share half of each, they're both amazing. The four kids got kids ribs, as they say it's the best restaurant food ever! To top it all off, we ended the night with a brownie bonzai! A phenomenal brownie, a lot of vanilla ice cream, Oreo cookie crumbs everywhere, and topped off with 4 pieces of Kit Kat! Dropped the ball tonight. Flanigans has slowly been on a downhill slide over the last few years. This last visit may actually be the last visit. Service was tremendously improved over my last visit but food prep and a mens bathroom that smelt worse than any porta pottie I have been in could be the last straw. What a shame. Been coming here since before it was Fanigans. Used to be a place to get great food, service was always on point and never any cleanliness issues. August 2022: 5: I went with my spouse to walk the area and see what restaurants were around the hotel. We headed to a specific one but were sidetracked by the way the area was built and decided to stop looking when we came across this location. We observed both well dressed customers and some like us who were wearing shorts, t-shirts, and sneakers. We walked inside interested in getting a look at the menu but we just decided to have a seat at an outside table. We noted there were nets to keep out birds and signs warning not to feed the critters. We were greeted at the table by Maria who promptly brought over our drinks and took our orders. The salad orders arrived quickly, so we started with those items first. The food arrived shortly afterwards. It was hot and fresh. ALL of my fries tasted like they were freshly prepared and not mixed with leftover fries to bulk up the meal. My spouse was three forks into her entre before I snapped a photo of the meals. She had shrimp scampi and I had the ribs and chicken. I wasn't a big fan of the bbq sauce, but It wasn't a deal breaker. The food all arrived hot and visually pleasing. Maria checked on us several times during our meal. The meal alongside the water was definitely a way to just relax and enjoy the evening. Great food...great service... decent restaurant. read more

Food was excellent! Lemon Chicken and Pasta was to die for. The garlic bread was amazing! The men both ate Baby Back Barbecue Ribs and both said they were good. I had the Dolphin lightly breaded and simmered in white wine and lemon. I would order it again. It was very good. We ate on patio and we all felt that they should have swept and vacuumed the floor. My family and I have been coming here ever since I was in high school and we have never had a bad experience until tonight. We asked to sit outside and when we went they wanted to sit 6 of us at a 4 top so we asked to go inside so we would be more comfortable. When the hostess put the tables together she swung the chair with such attitude that it felt like we were a bother. The server also had attitude. Great service! I am pregnant and super picky about my food/environment during the pandemic, they went above and beyond to make us happy. My mother had an issue with her food, and jimmy the manager did an amazing job to make us happy and took care of the issue as things can happen in the food world. My family and I were there on July 2nd. The food was great,as usual. Our server's name was Paula and she was awesome! She went above and beyond to accommodate us. You see, we had to order a takeout meal for our daughter at home, but we had to shop at the Home Depot before our hour drive back home. She took our takeout order and waited to put it in so that we had time to shop and pick it up on our way home! As promised, when we showed back up she had it fresh and ready for us! Thank you Paula. We couldnt decide where to go and on good Friday I thought it wouldnt be as busy as it was. Boy was I wrong. We did find 1 random parking space, but once we walked in the wait was 30-40m. (Not unusual for flanagans). We walked over to the bar and scored 2 seats so we didn't wait more than 5 minutes to sit. The bartender was attentive, and got us drinks and menus right away. The service has always been solid, the bartenders are very attentive, you can tell they work well as a team which is important in having a smooth experience, even the patrons are great. Some bars surrounding like Ale House the crowd can be so intolerable, just not my vibe. The drinks are strong and cheap, I can't complain there. $3.50 for Coronas? Can't beat that. And everyday they have a special like free nachos or tumbleweed onion rings w/ a pitcher of beer. Now THAT is delightfully tacky. My last dine in here I ordered a tuna melt w/ a side of fries. The BBQ ribs here are fantastic. I often order the Half Rack + Wing combo. The ribs are some of the best I've found in south florida and the prices are reasonable. There's nothing particularly special about the wings, but they're good enough. You can order them dry, which may not be mentioned on the menu, but sauces are your standard med/hot/bbq variety. No gold rush, no honey bbq, no cajun dry rub. Service is usually good. Lots of televisions, good food, quality watering hole. read more

I've been to several Flanigan Restaurants. I like them. The one in Weston has a beautiful outdoor seating area. I'll continue to frequent this establishment. However, the restaurant gets packed, and to just show up you might find an extensive wait time. So, I called the restaurant at 3:30pm and asked if there was a wait? The hostess, who answered the phone, said "no wait at all". I asked "even for outside?" and she responded "no wait outside either." I told her I'd be there in 15 minutes. I arrived at 3:45 give or take a minute. When I checked in with the hostess she states "ok, have a sit it will be about 25-30 minute wait." I was like WTF? I said I just spoke to you 15 minutes ago and you said there was no wait." An older low IQ host answered up and said "well, things can change" insinuating a rush of people came in. I asked "In 15 minutes things can change from no wait inside and outside to a 25 minute wait? The younger hostess then advised that they were also in the middle of a shift change, as the second shift comes on at 4pm. Couldn't they have told me that on the phone? Very simply "We are having a shift change at 4 so you might have a short wait." I walk out to the patio and there is 18 tables with only two tables occupied. A waitress approaches me and asks if I need to be seated? I explained what just transpired and she asked how many in my party? I advised it's just me. She said it shouldn't be an issue to seat you, but let me check with the hostess. The waitress came back shortly and said she couldn't do anything, and I should be seated soon. When I got the text that my table was ready, and return to the front/hostess, I was met with a snot nosed attitude by the younger female host. She walked me to my seat without saying anything, and then tossed my menu on the table as she walked away. I guess she got her feelings hurt. Next time don't tell someone there is no wait, only to have that person walk in for you to say 25-30 minute wait. read more

Once again, we had a great experience at another Flanagan's location. Fairly cheap drinks and food for a great price! Their menu offers a lot of specials/deals throughout the week. Last time my Fiancé and I split the baby back ribs (which were great). This time we split the 10 chicken wings which came with fries, Caesar salad, garlic rolls and a free drink! This Flannigan's is always crowded and has an annoyingly small parking lot, but it's still a great Flannigan's. Service is decent and it has a large outdoor patio overlooking a retention pond for the couple of months a year when the weather isn't uncomfortably hot. Big bar inside the restaurant, smaller bar outside. Over the years, I've had their prime rib dinner (a really good deal at like $15.99 when they have it), the grilled dolphin sandwich and dinner, the salmon dinner, the seared tuna philly (super unusual concept, but it works), buffalo wings, bbq chicken sandwich, rib rolls, chicken philly, cheeseburger, various salads, smoked fish dip, clam chowder and multiple other dishes. I can honestly say I've never had a bad meal here. The dolphin sandwich is my go-to meal. They do this mahi filet on a soft, fresh kaiser roll so well. Once my Philly cheesesteak had a fishy smell and taste, so they made me a new one and it was perfect. It was clearly a grilling error. Flannigan's has a good lunch deal, if you plan to order a beverage - various menu items are $6.99 when you purchase a drink and you get to keep the cup. Hamburgers, tilapia sandwich, pasta salad, chicken sandwiches, chicken wings and roasted chicken are among the choices. I like their curly fries for my side option. So, when you're in Weston, and you want to spend under $20 per person, and you want a super casual place, and your group needs a varied menu because you all want different things, go to Flannigan's. I asked to talk to the manager and he was very rude to us giving us attitude.
