This place was better than expected. We had great service and the food was good. We had the Rockin' Rib Rolls and the blackened tilapia sandwich. Both were tauted as "specials" of the day, but interestingly enough, the special price was the everyday menu price. C'est la vie. Beer prices were good, too, on a toasty winter day at the beach. On November 11, 2016, we stopped in for lunch. Bob ordered a burger with a baked potato, sour cream and butter. I ordered the wings and a baked potato with butter. I took a small bite of my wings and was anxious to eat. They smelled so good.Bob took one bite of his potato and pulled something out of his mouth. It was a piece of glass about the size of a large pea. It was large enough to see it had a beveled edge and was frosted glass. I asked the first server who passed by to get the manager for us. The manager came, took the glass and said something like 'I don't know how this could happen', 'Do you need medical attention?', then he turned and walked quickly to the kitchen with the glass. He didn't apologize, take the food or even offer to replace the meal. Needless to say, since it would be near to impossible to identify the source, we wouldn't have eaten anything else. We told the server we were leaving. She asked if the manager had taken care of the problem. I told her no, he just walked away without saying much of anything. This is such a shame. I love Flanigan's, but I will have to consider whether I will ever return. In fact, in hindsight, I wish I had called authorities so the kitchen could be inspected for more glass. read more

This restaurant was better when it was parana pats, but we usually still go once a year with the kids. Often has good specials. Ordered dolphin and tuna but was disapointed. Pub like atmosphere. Can get a good Sandwich. I wouldn't go out of my way to get to this restaurant but if staying in Pompano it is one of the places to go. read more

Great place to eat, drink, and watch the games. Even if you aren't watching the games the food and drink specials are attractive enough. The festive atmosphere is entertaining. The ribs, burgers, wings are all fantastic. There is even a liquor store attached to the restaurant. Every time I visit Pompano Beach, this is a must! There is also outdoor seating. read more

I have done take put here for over 6 years and the serves sucks 10 minutes and still not acknowledged had to run a server down for help. We have been loyal Flanigan patrons for 20 years. Living in Pompano Beach it was our "go to" place. Food and service were always great and consistent. Well the tide has turned at Piranha Pats Flanigans!!From the greeters at the front door and the manager hanging onto the hostess stand and the waitstaff bitching it's just not a pleasant place anymore. We've given it a couple of tries since we've noticed the changes. Tonight was the final chance. Oh and the food has suffered too!! I could go on and on. Pretty much disgusted and disappointed with this place. It just seems to be Pompano Beach location. In short... visit Flanigans anywhere else but Pompano Beach location! Deserves 0 stars if yelp allowed that option!!! Went for lunch with my wife, ordered 2 lunch specials (2-10oz burgers) asked for both burgers medium, 1 with cheese & 1 without cheese. The food finally arrived and my burger had cheese when I asked for NO CHEESE, my wife's burger was cooked rare in the edges and almost raw in the middle. Had to send both plates back... My wife's burger came back over cooked well done with more cheese piled on top, they didn't have the courtesy to make another burger, the just re cooked the burger and added more cheese (terrible). My burger came back without cheese and over cooked, well done too!!!! Terrible customer service, the manager didn't even come to our table to apologize for the poor quality of the food!!! I will NEVER return to this establishment again, I get things done my way a lot better at Burger King!!! read more

The wait was very long. The fact that it was Thanksgiving , this was expected. Service was also very slow. Food arrived and was barely warm. The baked potatoes were under baked. We ask for new potatoes that were cooked. We then completely ate the rest of our disappointing meal. The Waitress then returned to tell us all the potatoes were hard and undercook. The manager happen to come by and the waitress flagged him. Otherwise I doubt I would have seen him, she didn't seem surprised or too concerned about our discontent . I clearly told him of my disappointment in the entire meals that they had served. He offered more potatoes despite the fact that I told him the waitress said they were all undercooked. He explained to me that they were very busy and were running out of stuff and he should probably not have opened today. He did give me a discount. Came in here back on 04/26/2017 for happy hour and dinner surprisingly I have never been here before but I have seen a Flannigan's in almost every city in South Florida and It never made the list but on 4/26/17 I made my first visit to Flanagan's, and not to compare but this is another Ale House for the locals I wasn't disappointed because I am always looking for a different atmosphere for a sports bar and this fits the bill, we got there a this place was packed, there were two open spots for seating so I was wondering why that was being that it was so packed so I asked her to show us where the open tables were and go figure both were in high traffic areas 1st being by the rest rooms and 2nd one by the kitchen so then I tell here no wonder these are two high traffic areas that you are trying to seat us so I declined and asked to wait on a table so while waiting we stayed over by the bar to continue with Happy Hour until our table was ready which took roughly about 20 minutes which wasn't back considering the crowd, since this was my first time here the rave is about the Award Winning Chicken Wings and the Award Winning Baby Back Ribs, so I ordered 20 wings hot with garlic celery/carrots and blue cheese along with the Tumbleweed Onions (Delicious). I'm not sure what the rave was about with the Award Winning Chicken Wings, but to me they were nothing to write home about but they were good to be honest I'd rave more about the Tumbleweed Onions because those were very very good and fried to perfection not hard I was able to pick up a hand full and dip with out them being rough on my braces, good bar food, I don't remember what our waitress name was but she was very nice and prompt attentive even with all the people. I met friends for lunch, and this was a pleasant surprise. They have really good lunch specials for $5.99 when you purchase any drink. Friend had the BBQ chicken with sweet potato fries and really enjoyed it. It was a huge serving and she ate the whole thing. I had cheeseburger and fries. Love love loved the burger, fries were cold so they sent a huge basket of hot fries. They're the curly ones, quite good, but the burger was better and it filled me up. So for $5.99 plus $2.99 for a soft drink or coffee, it's not only the best burger I have had in a long, long time, but the cheapest. read more

Long wait, food was just ok. If they had been honest about how long it would be we never would have waited that long. I have never met a garlic roll I couldn't eat until this place. Had a terrible experience with their new store manager in their Pompano Liquor store on East Atlantic Blvd. where I buy a very expensive bottle of scotch a couple of times a month. I own a business where our clients achieve a significant milestone in their lives and we have a tradition of celebrating that mile stone with a shot of scotch. The new manager aggressively challenged me when I let him know that Flanigans gives me a 10% discount on each bottle purchased ($8). He all but called me a liar, refused to look up the record, and bore down on me from his elevated platform in a menacing manner. He was over the top in rudeness and in his own anger. I called the corporate office and left a calm and professional (thats who I am) voice message for the area manager; that I had a bad experience in one of his stores and wanted to discuss it. He did not return the call. So....I feel obligated to let you know how this company feels about its repeat customers. The ABC is the same distance away, as are other stores. I will buy our Single Malt Scotch Whiskey elsewhere. Cheers. read more

I brought the friends here from the airport to toast the beginning of their vacation. The restaurant is decorated in a nautical theme with surf boards and fishing tackle hanging on the walls. The wood tables and wood paneling on the walls reminds me of many Hooters restaurants. Our server was kind and fast to bring our drinks and take our dinner order. Unfortunately, after waiting for over 45 minutes for our food, we asked for the manager. He brought out our order within five minutes, but all of it was room temperature cold. He then took back the burgers, reheated them, and brought them back out on the same plate with now soggy buns and fresh french fries. The rest of our food was not reheated or replaced. His final offer was to buy a round of drinks and give us free drink chips to come back during the vacation. The only bright spot was that the rib roll appetizer. It was delicious and arrived quickly. The food is great, but once again the service was a bit to be desired. Watch for everything to be an upsell! The meal deal menu is not a deal! It includes a glass of house wine so when I asked for a glass of house Cabernet and the waitress asked if sutter home was ok and I told her fine, you would think it qualified! The bill came with the wine charged separately and when I asked why my house Cab wasn't covered she said they only have a blush wine that qualifies as a house wine. Ummmm ok. I used to LOVE Flannigans. We had family in town from DC and decided to order food for pickup. When I arrived to pickup the order, my food wasn't ready, so I let the hostess know I was there and sat at the bar and ordered a beer. The gentleman next to me ordered food in front of me, received his food and ate it. I finally asked about my food. The bartender looked at me like I had 3 heads. She asks other servers about it, walks into the kitchen and brings me a bag, hands it to me like nothing was wrong. The food was cold, the dolphin sandwich had no bun, there was no blue cheese dressing for my wings, and after telling the person that took the order that I wanted a side ceasar for a pescatarian with the sandwich instead of fries, we recieved the sandwich with no bun, fries and were charged for a side ceasar that was loaded with bacon. The chicken on my grilled chicken sandwich was dry to the bone. FAIL! When I let the manager know, he did nothing to fix it. Costed me more than $50. Waste of time and money. Dropped in for lunch at the bar when my mom said, "you pick a place". We had $6 specials and beer for an excellent, delicious under $20 meal.
