Heard the name, but today was my first visit. A bit tight in spaces. They even have a sign stating 49 people max. It's that small, so be prepared to wait longer if you're more than 2-4 people. As shown as in the pictures of menus, they also serve mimosas, beers and white claw and Mike's hard lemonade. It's a typical brunch place. They close at 2 or 2:30 on certain days. It's small, not fancy, but the food and service speak for themselves. Their breakfast menu is far from an IHOP or Denny's; it features real food, and in large portions. The ambience of this diner is charming and laid-back, and with decor that includes art and photos of inspiring and humorous quotes. The staff are attentive, always checking on you. Based on my experience, I believe a place operating under these conditions should be inspected to make sure customers are not being put at risk of getting sick. There were two kinds of soup (meatball minestrone and seafood chowder), garlic clove bread, and sugar-glazed raisin walnut bread. (I adored the latter! And so did others, because the basket had to be refilled twice.) The soups and breads alone would have made a filling and satisfying meal. But we already had ordered food when we tried them, loved them, and noticed that we could have purchased the combo as a light (all-you-can-eat) meal for $8.50. It would have been better as a plain BLT. The accompanying cole slaw was a bit sweet but oh so scrumptious. Lunch for two with tax and tip was about $44. Wish Yelp allowed 1/2 stars.
