    Chicken Avocado Bowl
    Ian S.

Eh, this place is aight. If I was a gym bro, I'd come here every day. The menu is very basic. Protein, rice, vegetable. The chicken is decent but nothing above average. The order-taker was nice. The ambiance is pretty shabby. The interior remind me of a rundown gas station that hasn't been renovated since 2002. I'll come back here the next time I want a basic chicken and rice meal.

Extra charge for bad avocado. Meat taste off

Ordered a half and half bowl and plate. Extra charge for bad avocado. Taste of the chicken was off.

Beef & Chicken bowl. More like a carrot bowl. Absolutely Ridiculous !!

I can not believe that I paid over $20 for this and a drink! Burnt dry beef and half a bowl of carrots! It was ready in less than 2 minutes so thanks for the obviously precooked meat you left burning on the grill! Never Again!!

This is one of my favorite Flame Broiler's. Always greeted with a sincere welcome. Food is consistently good! It's plentiful and served hot. Portion size for a bowl is really good. The limited time Spicy Korean Chicken Bowl is . Great sauce with a nice little kick. It's my favorite! Deeeelicious!

I got a chicken bowl with avocado. The portion size was was small, could have been at least more rice. I have ate here before and they are consistent with small portions when compared to other flame broilers. The chicken was over cooked, had to spit out half of the chicken. Better off going to waba grill down the street, more for your money.

Pictured is a half & half bowl (half chicken / half beef) white rice and veggies. The bowl certainly provides a generous amount of meat. The veggies are crunch which I love because I can't stand soggy veggies. We got to try all 4 sauces since we bought 2 bowls...none of them are spicy. Maybe it's my tolerance for all things HOT? Idk. Check this place out for a quick delicious bowl.

We ordered the galbi, pork cutlets, and bibimbap and enjoyed all 3. Their fish cake and purple rice were my favorite sides. The pork cutlet was my favorite dish. The sauce gave me a "Ratatouille moment." I couldn't quite put my finger on what the tast reminded me of. I will definitely come back to this dish again and again. I'd also like to try one of their tofu soups next time. I didn't like BCD tofu house when I tried it years ago so I didn't want to risk another bad experience but they didn't miss with any of their dishes or sides so I trust them here. The turnaround for tables is fast, all things considered. You can tell it's popular and the staff hustle to make sure tables are cleared and cleaned up in a timely manner. I also like their metal bowls. They kept food, the rice in particular, warm for a long time. The one negative I have is that there's low reception in the parking lot if you have Verizon.

A Hidden Gem for Korean Tofu Lovers!…read more We have been searching for a new tofu restaurant to try and came across Tofu Chon in Ontario after seeing its excellent Yelp reviews and ratings. Needless to say, we were excited to check it out, and it did not disappoint! The restaurant is located in a strip mall with plenty of parking, which is always a plus. The dining room is relatively small, with seating for about 40 guests, but we arrived at the perfect time and were seated right away with no wait. By the time we left, the place was getting busy, especially after 7 PM, and we noticed a steady stream of pickup orders. The service was fantastic. Our server was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. She brought out an assortment of banchan, including kimchi and pickled cucumbers, and they were all delicious. The banchan alone set a great tone for the meal. We ordered two combo dishes: * Galbi + Soon Tofu Combo (Beef) * Bibimbap + Soon Tofu Combo (Oyster) The oyster soon tofu was the standout for me. It was packed with flavor, had just the right amount of spice, and struck a perfect balance without being overpowering. Absolutely comforting and satisfying. The bibimbap was good and served with purple rice, but it wasn't my favorite style since it was served at room temperature. Personally, I prefer the crispy rice and sizzling experience of a Dolsot (stone pot) bibimbap. That said, the meat was well-seasoned and tasty. The galbi was excellent. It was tender, flavorful, and marinated beautifully. Every bite was packed with that sweet and savory Korean BBQ goodness. Overall, we had a wonderful dining experience and are already planning to return to try more items on the menu. If you're a fan of Korean cuisine, especially soon tofu, this place is definitely worth a visit. Tip: Arrive before 7 PM if you want to avoid the rush! Highly recommended for fellow foodies looking for authentic, comforting Korean food in the Ontario area.

Legit Korean spot in Chino Hills - finally!…read more Stopped in here after a long hike when my stomach started making executive decisions for me. Scrolled through maps and spotted a new Korean spot near The Shoppes - turns out it's a chain that finally made its way to Chino Hills. Say less. Walked in and the place was buzzing with Korean being spoken at every table. Sat down and immediately knew we were in good hands. Army Stew Saw it on the new menu and ordered without hesitation. When it hit the table, the pot was still bubbling away - piled high with tofu, sausage, spam, veggies, and ramen noodles. Gave it a stir and that savory, spicy aroma just hit you right in the face. Every spoonful was spicy in the best way - the kind that keeps you going back for more. The table next to us watched us devour it and literally flagged down the server to order the same thing. LA Galbi Another new addition. Came out sizzling on a hot plate, the short ribs charred perfectly on the edges - crispy outside, tender inside. Solid. Maeum Galbi Jjim This one was on just about every table. We got the M size with added cheese - pulled a piece of rib up and got that glorious cheese pull going on. The glass noodles underneath soaked up all that spicy sauce - slippery, savory, and absolutely slurp-worthy. The rice cakes were perfectly chewy too. Seoul Haus Dumpling Stuffed generously and juicy - bit into one and the broth came running out. Value Here's the real kicker. Normally at places like Sunnongdan, you're dropping at least $100 on a single order of braised short ribs - forget about it if you're not with a group. Here? The M size runs around $28.99 and easily feeds two. Plus the banchan (side dishes) are refillable. Parking Plaza parking is plentiful - no circling around like a lost soul. Bottom line: Great food, generous portions, and actually reasonable prices for what you're getting. This one's going into the regular rotation. Pro tip: Come hungry and bring a friend - the portions are no joke.

Their bossam is good, but comes out lukewarm and a bit underwhelming. Their salad though is super delicious, whatever vinagrette they use I wish I could have on hand all the time! Two tofu combos with their most expensive options rang out to around $75 with no drinks, which is definitely on the pricier side. We had leftovers, but this isn't a regular meal that you can go out for often. I'll continue to keep this spot close for when I'm craving tofu soup and purple rice nearby.
