This place is unprofessional, bought a car from a person who was having issues with limp mode on a 2003 Suburban he bought a PCM computer from this so called company that offers a lifetime warranty to the original owner, after purchasing the computer from them the car still stay in limp mode he was thinking it was programmed right from these clowns, and after 1000 spent trying to fix it, it led into them not programmed the computer right, do not buy from these clowns, it will save you a lot of money and headaches. read more

Stole my money not only once but twice lied to my bank, said I got a product when I didn't dont buy anything from them look at the Better Business Bureau complaints this company. I don't know how they're in business. read more

horrible company I ordered my PCM they took payment waited and waited and I called customer service after receiving an email that they're very busy that's why it's taking so long talk to customer service. They told me that they actually made a mistake and grab the wrong computer but basically lied to me in my email, and then now after I received it weeks late, emailing me to tell me to change my review because I only gave him a one star and told him that I don't recommend them read more

DO NOT BUY FROM THE SCUMBAG SCAM ARTISTS!...They're website has reviews saying they are wonderful and a 5 star rated company...WRONG. I ordered an EMC for my vehicle 7/24 it took two weeks to get it. When I installed it it worked fine for 5 months and then it started faulting by shutting off while I'm on cruise control driving down the interstate, setting off the alarms(oil alarm, theft alarm, seat belt alarm) while driving down the street and killing the vehicle. I called them and they told me to take it to a mechanic and get the codes that the mechanics computer was saying which I paid for $50 3 times....NO CODES; however the 3 different mechanics and the parts tech at O'Rielleys all said..."It's your ECM; it's gone bad.". Every time after hooking it up FLAGSHIP ONE would say if it were bad it would have a code. I told them to send me a new one on warranty and they told me it was against their policy that I would have to send mine in and they would test it. 12/5 I sent it to them and got confirmation that they received it on 12/7/24. It took10 days before they tell me "Well we couldn't find anything wrong with it but we're going to send you out a new one anyway"...They send me a tracking number on the 19th shipping it out in the busiest time of the year and somehow it disappears into the gates of hell where they must reside because here it is the 9th day of the new year and these asshats still have not made me whole. I sent them an email today where they proceed to tell me that I have to file a claim with USPS and once I have filed a claim then they will file one too. Now they're double-dipping on an insurance claim. Criminal SCUMBAGS don't spend a dime with these people....I tried to post this with 0 stars but yelp made me put at least 1 star. read more

Looks like i had the same problem as these other reviewers which dictactes alot about how this business operates. Called before ordering. They said they had 2 of the ECU i need left. She said lemme double check. Came back on phone corrected and said we only have 1 left. I told her hang on to it im buying through the website right now. Bout a week later i was emailed saying part number was listed incorrectly and they dont have the item and they dont have a date for when the next one will be instock. Said i could wait for it. I asked for refund which was completed in about 5 days. For a company specializing in ECU's it doesnt sound like good advertisement of capabilities when you guys mix up just the part number. What about the actual coding in the computer? You guys mix those numbers up also and consider it ok? Pffffft read more

Flagship One - When purchasing they ask that you notate the part number for the module in a special box. Input the # and still recieve this email. - Auto Parts & Supplies Near Me - Lynbrook, New York

This company is terrible. I had a computer from them which I had to return with problems and they sent the same one back saying it was fine when it wasn't. I had to return it AGAIN for them to finally send a new one. all of this has taken WAY TOO LONG. I have been with out my car for 3 months during all of this. everytime I call to ask about updates they say things like "it should be getting shipped soon" and never does. TERRIBLE. read more

After having a horrible experience with carcomputerexchange.com, from whom I purchased an ECM for $279+ which blew my mechanic's scanner and my alternator, I bought an ECM from Flagship One. It took a couple of extra days to get the part but upon installation, it worked immediately. I received a partial refund but I'm still trying to get a full refund from carcomputerexchange because they sold me a defective part; not my fault. They're useless, nothing but scammers, and don't know how to answer a telephone. I was without a car for almost 2 months, partly because of the defective computer and waiting to hear back from them, which didn't happen until I emailed them. So, they're claiming I'm in violation of their Return Policy and withheld $130. In the meantime, I swallowed the bullet and ordered another ECM from Flagship. I don't understand how carcomputerexchange remains in business, what with all the complaints against them. Good communication with Flagship One; I dealt with Joshua R. who was very helpful. I would definitely recommend this company. read more

5 and half week delay for them to just issue our money back because they have no interest in making it right! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! On June 22, 2024 we ordered a part. It was 2 weeks before they shipped it to us. Which at the time was OK because the 1st unit failed inspection. We wanted a working part so understood the delay. It on finally shipped on August 2, 2024. We received the part on August 5, 2024. Installed it and it didn't work. After we ran several test, we called the Flagship told them there was NO power coming out of the unit. They sent us an RMA to send back claiming it was 2 day shipping. We sent it back on August 7, 2024 and they received the part on August 14, 2024. For the next week we got 1 update "techs are working on it" finally on August 21, 2024 Flagship replied that the part had no power coming out and the power source was bad. Today is August 25, 2024. The only updates we get are when we request for one and then Flagship responds with "techs are working on it, we are waiting for an update from them". When I called the customer service desk last week they told me that the part should only take 2-4 days to be programed. We are waiting 2 weeks for them to program it...10 days for them to do. Communication is the KEY people! Today I call the service hotline and wanted to speak with a manager, called twice because no one could do that for me. The 2nd time I spoke to Gilbert. He did not want to transfer me either, I warned him I was not happy. Oh let me call a manager he says. as I waited for 15 minutes, which was ok cause I wanted to talk to her she was never available for me and told gilbert, to issue my money back. Which I did just this! 5.5 weeks later I am free from companies lies. Do yourself a favor and pay more money and go somewhere else. read more

Flagship One screwed me over. I purchased an ECM from them, it took over 3 weeks to arrive (I live in NY and they are based out of NY so crazy it took that long). Then when I install it, it turns out it was never programmed to my vehicle (VIN # was not mine). Obviously it didn't work. I call them and explain situation....they send me a return label and I promptly ship it back. They claim they never got it and refused to refund my money. BEWARE!!! Company screws many people over.....I should of read the complaints from the BBB and Yelp. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!! Waste of money & time. Use one of the other companies out there......NOT Flagship One!!!!!! read more

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE CROOKS. I purchased an ECM for my 2003 Dodge Ram. It worked for 30 miles and stopped working. It is supposed to have a lifetime warranty. We returned it to them, (fortunately we took pictures of the return ECM). They refused to warranty the ECM, saying it was missing the warranty seal. We sent them the pictures showing the seal and the fact it had not been tampered with. They sent me a picture of a ECM that had been painted and 2 stickers removed. The one we returned had grease marks from the mechanics hand on it, this one was freshly painted. We have all the pictures to prove we returned the right ECM, but they won't except it truth. These people are nothing but frauds and conns. Stay away from them. Rance read more

Ordered ECM based on car VIN. They sent an ECM that was different from the one in the car so I requested refund only to be told a "restocking" fee would be subtracted. I sent pictures showing the differences between the units but they insist they sent the right unit. Can't prove they are wrong so taking business elsewhere. Not worth risking having to pay another "restocking" fee. On the positive side they did send ECM out within one week and did provide free return shipping. Additionally, customer service representatives were responsive to emails and phone calls, although I haven't received refund yet. read more

Bought a Pcm/ecm module for my Saturn Vue was told it was plug and play they programmed to my vin# got a code I never had and contacted them and told me I needed a Professional Scanner to clear it took to a Mechanic who tried to reset it over and over didn't work more money out of pocket like I said it was to be Plug and Play not true. The Mechanic said not programmed correctly their giving me the run around!!!! read more

Very slow service and not in communication, communicate through a virtual robot that can't be communicated with. My Armada needed a new computer. My mechanic here in Texas ordered it from them a week ago. It has not arrived, we have no shipping data, and can't seem to get past the robots on the phone or the internet. My grandaughter will be born tomorrow and I am expected to be able to drive there, but have no vehicle. Fast Service - No,,,good communication ? No. There are others that cost less and actually provide what you need and want read more

Worst company to go to fix my car. ECM wasn't a plug n play. They didn't even send the correct instructions until I called customer service. Even when I wanted to return the ECM, they were going to keep $85 saying it is for a reprocessing fee. The total was a bit over $200. I'd never recommend them. EVER. read more

I ordered a ECU for my 2004 Mazda 3. The 1st one I got was Totally wrong and thru 7 codes and would not let the transmission shift gears, the speedometer didnt work and car stuck in 3rd gear..sent it back, they replaced it, the 2nd one would not read the crankshaft sensor therefore not allowing the car to start, 3rd one now 3 months later finally worked good but in the process for each ECU I had to have my key reprogramed resulting in spending over $350 for key programing which they do not refund to you cause of their mistakes. It cost me more in key programing than the cost of the unit. Their customer service was good but for all the time installing and shipping back bad modules and extra expense of key programing I could of payed that much at a local mechanic and had it done in a couple days not 3 months..My opinion EXPECT the 1st one not to work until they can figure it out. It took them 3 times to get mine right and over $200 more in key programing than I should of spent!! read more

I have been in the automotive repair business for 38 years and have been using FS1 several times over the past few years and have had no problems with their workmanship until present. The job and problem in question now is how they are handling a PCM problem that we purchased on 02-26-24 and when installed will not allow transmission to shift and makes all dash warning lights come on that this vehicle has no problems with until we install FS1 unit. We have returned in 4 times and they keep sending us the same unit back and will not allow us to talk with anyone there about this problem or return a phone call. They are now telling us we have no warranty and hang up on us if we call them. I know if i could talk with a tech about this vehicle we could figure this problem out. I know they have the resources to fix and correct put their standard operating procedures for problem PCM trouble shooting with customer service is horrible, Be careful before spending 971.00 with this company. read more

Bought a PCM from them. Received it a month later to find out it was not working. I certified mailed the PCM back to them and now 14 months later I am still out of a PCM, my money and my car is still parked. One of the worst customer service I have ever had to deal with. They give you the run around that "John A." is the only person in that company can help you. They DO NOT call you back or can even give you a straight answer when you have been on hold for 45+ minutes for 3 days straight. Save the headache and use a REAL reputable company! FLAGSHIP ONE IS A SCAM! BEWARE! read more

I'm so mad right now I bought a computer in July and it was $940 they promoted on their website as plug and play and in fact it was not now they are saying I need a computer to do and extra step then how is that considered PLUG AND PLAY I just don't get it what part don't they get as that is not in fact considered plug and play now they want a form filled out on how is the computer not plug and play omg these people are a joke I really woul consider before spending your hard earn money just to buy a piece of metal that doesnt work and is a pain to get it swapped out trust me a few hundred bucks you save is not worth the headache if I were you o would just go to a dealership instead or someone in your area that you can fix the issues face to face and not through chat how I wish o would of read these really bad reviews please don't buy their junky parts they are not worth it. And in fact I know it's the part because my old computer still turns my work truck on so I know it's their part. read more

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE SCUMBAGS! They send you refurbished non working junk parts. Then they want a form filled out and I filled it out 3 times and never heard a word from there terrible employees. After several calls and emails just after the 30 day refund trial they get back to you and string you along to the 45 day mark. Where you can exchange for another piece of crap part or use the money you sent to but other junk that won't work. If you ever bought off them and had this kind of trouble make sure to let the BBB know to get this place shut down. So they quit ripping hard working people off. They have the worst customer service in the world. I have never been treated so poorly but I company that wants our business I will be spreading my exchange with everyone so they will not be screwed. Also they are good for having employees commenting 5 star ratings knowing they are crooked money stealers. read more

They have had me in tears . Every time I call they say something different. I ordered an ECM which they say had to be cloned so sent my original as well to clone . I put in the new one and the car started just shutting off while driving so I was told to fill out a RMA form and someone in the specialist department would call me to tell me what to do. No one ever called I was then told I needed to provide more information though there was no more information to provide , I'd put all the many codes the car was showing now which stared that the ECM needed replaced so after 3 weeks of calling one rep says I need to send back the new ECM back to fix so I asked for an expedited shipping label this time since its already been 3 weeks with my car undrivable then was told only my account manager could issue that type of label as they are only able to send the basic and that an email was sent with the request for a supervisor to call me was sent as my account manager has never called me back after multiple requests. I was told they'd call me that day and nothing then the next day I call and as usual the rep is annoyed that I'm upset and ignores everything I'm saying explaining all the issues saying that she would make sure that the supervisor calls me and that I could call her back if not to which I said " you know very well that the only number will not get me directly to you and they will say they cannot transfer to you as you are all working from home! She gets bothered and just keeps replying herself. The next day after no call again I am told by another annoyed rep that they can help me just as anyone else can which I responded was incorrect as they all say only the account manager can do anything for me. Yesterday I am finally called by a rep not a supervisor saying my only option is to mail back the ECM with a basic label because it's all they can do to which I say why was I told otherwise and why is it that a supervisor still won't call me , she says she was the last one I spoke to so they told her to call me which is just crazy! Yesterday I was told for the first time that they wanted both my original and the new ECM sent ! This has to be a joke ! They need to be held accountable! read more
