As a business owner and repair facility myself, I have dealt with many parts suppliers and warranty situations, and my experience with Flagship ECM was one of the worst I have ever had. We ordered an ECM for a 2002 Dodge Dakota base model. This is a very basic 24-year-old vehicle with no bells and whistles. It took approximately 4 weeks just to receive the original ECM. After installing it, our customer drove only about 120 miles before the vehicle failed again with ECM-related issues. That's when the real nightmare began. When we contacted Flagship, they told us that if we wanted to simply replace the ECM without going through their technicians, there would be no warranty on the replacement. So we followed their warranty procedure. We waited for their technician to send us a diagnostic form, filled it out in detail, and then waited another 48 hours for them to approve the return. Once approved, they provided a ground shipping label from California to New York, which took additional time. In my opinion, a warranty return for a failed replacement part should have been handled with urgency, especially when the part had only lasted approximately 120 miles. We are a repair facility ourselves. When a customer comes back because something we repaired failed, we make that customer a priority. We understand that their vehicle is important and that our reputation is on the line. Unfortunately, Flagship did not treat our situation that way. After they received the ECM, it took another week just for them to look at it. Then we were told they were working on it. Another week passed, then another. When I contacted them for updates, I repeatedly received answers such as "it's being finalized," "it will ship soon," "by the weekend," or "by Monday." This was a 24-year-old base-model Dodge Dakota, not some complicated new luxury vehicle. Why did a warranty repair take weeks? Eventually, they told us it was being shipped Next Day Air, yet even that arrived days later due to a weather delay. By the time this entire ordeal was over, we had lost approximately 8 weeks total about 4 weeks waiting for the original ECM and roughly another month dealing with the failed unit and warranty process. The worst part is that this wasn't just an inconvenience for our shop. Our customer was an older gentleman who had been coming to us for approximately 10 years and had difficulty walking. Because his vehicle was down, he repeatedly came to our shop asking what was going on, while I had very little information to give him because Flagship wasn't giving me answers. Ultimately, I lost a customer who had trusted our shop for 10 years because of this ordeal. Flagship was quick to tell us that if we didn't want to wait, they could refund our money. But after wasting weeks waiting for their product and then going through their warranty process, a refund doesn't fix the time lost, the customer's inconvenience, or the damage to our reputation. As a business owner, I understand that parts fail. What matters is how you handle the problem afterward. Flagship ECM did not make us feel like a priority, did not communicate effectively, and did not show any urgency in resolving a warranty issue that they should have handled much faster. I am honestly surprised by some of the positive reviews. Maybe others have had different experiences, but based on ours, I will never purchase another ECM from Flagship ECM again. If you're a professional repair facility, think twice before relying on them for a vehicle that your customer needs back quickly. The biggest problem wasn't just the defective ECM it was how Flagship handled the situation afterward. Extremely disappointing experience. 0 star. read more

I wish I wouldn't have believed all the fake 5 star reviews on google. From the start, they are very responsive to sell you parts and ship in a timely manner. I ordered a pcm for my Navigator and it was faulty. My mechanics programming tool showed no communication between the pcm and transmission causing my vehicle to not shift gears anymore. I filled out the RMA but they wanted my original pcm to clone it. I'm glad I did not do that! My mechanic found a pcm from another local salvage yard and now my vehicle works flawlessly. He also had bad experiences with this scam company. Good luck getting a refund back. They ignore your requests. I have disputed the transaction with my bank. read more

Lifetime warranty...Ha...it's just propaganda! I've provided them with two pages of typed information about the test I've run, voltages read, sensor's replaced, I was very detailed and meticulous. I didn't even say that it was the PCM, although everything points to it being a bad PCM. Not to mention they sent me a PCM that doesn't align with the VIN provided. After the wires have been ohm'd out, sensors replaced, back probing at the PCM shows correct voltage of the sensor, but a quality scan tool shows that it is not what the PCM is reporting. Over a two week period I've contacted them three times requesting support and they will not reply. Save your money and buy from someone else! I had excellent service with Phoebe T. I appreciated her effort to obtain the correct part number, as previously the company had the wrong part number. I said maybe because a lot of reviews find the actual product that is shipped faulty or incorrect. I'll know when I receive mine whether the whole experience was positive or just the service interaction! read more

Horrible customer service and product. The PCM did not come coded with a correct vin. 0 stars.

Deserves a zero star. Order product on 6/17. Received a tracking number and it didn't ship for nearly 3 weeks. When I received the product it was the wrong part number. They said it would work and to install it, so I did, installed it, it immobilized my car and threw different codes. I removed it and put back in my original OEM part and thank God my car stated again. Still has my originally code but at least it's drivable. For all this talk about giving them my vin number so they can flash it and make it plug in and play is total bs. I contacted them only to be ignored. They ignored me until i opened up up a bbb case and started a dispute with my bank. Then they made me fill out a long a$$ form so their programmer knew what was wrong with it... How about you do your job instead of having me do it for you. They provided a label for exchange. still do not have a replacement and then finally say, you need to close your dispute with your bank before we can send a replacement. My bank advise me not to do that because once I do, I will not be able to reopen a case in the event the replacement part doesn't work again. I told them that and now they are not responding anymore. Crooks! This is a crooked company and they play a ton of games and has a lot of back and forth going on. The front of the house doesn't communicate with the back of the house and everyone is on different pages. I advise any future customer just pay more more money to avoid this company. Would not recommend to anyone and I'm just glad I didn't close the dispute because I'm pretty sure I'd be out of luck if I did. BEWARE of this company. Photo is the part they sent me, different than what my car is and broken and dirty. And again 3 weeks wait for a broken unusable part that had its own set of issues! read more

Just got my 2nd bad ECM/PCM a few days ago and it was install by very skilled servicemen. Each of the replacements got a different (even different that my original module) error so their claims of being thoroughly tested does not hold up well. I was suspicious when I saw the number of 5 star reviews they had - then I get 2 bad one??? right!!! The company is more into marketing than service. Champ Clark read more

Communication, delivering your product in the time you say it will take. I waited over a month and never received my ECM. I was told it would take about 5 days. I wish I had seen these reviews before I trusted them with my TIME and money. For weeks, I've had a USPS tracking number, yet nothing shows up. "Jennifer" states it's an issue with USPS, but have assured me they've shipped the computer, even though the status screen on their own website comes up blank. It's sad when you lose faith in the person you're speaking with and equally sad when you lose faith in the company they represent. I just wish they could had been honest with me. read more

I originally ordered my ECM unit from another company. After 9 days they advised me they could not complete the order. They said they were unable to download the current software program. Saturn has been out of business since 2010. What updates could there possibly be? I called Flagship One, Ella, who told me my part was in stock and ready to be programmed and shipped. I received my ECM in 4 business days after my order. They notified me immediately that my order was received and the next day they notified me that my unit was ready for programming and gave me a tracking number. OUTSTANDING service and customer service. I would purchase from them again and would recommend them strongly. THANK YOU! read more

I'm broke down 500 miles from home and ordered a ECM for my truck based on the factory part number and vin number of my truck. I paid for overnight shipping and after the second day of having a tracking number my part still shows it's sitting at the UPS warehouse. When I ordered my ecu I make it clear that I wanted the exact part number, they said they had it. Received another part instead. I Called and they said it was a cross reference number it would work. The instruction for key programming did not work, it cost me $185. I have multiple engine codes. Now they want both the old and the new ecu back to synchronize them. with no mention of the $185 that I'm out. You people have got to get better. read more

Garbage service, please do yourself a favor and do not buy from them. They claim lifetime and then blame u for a unit failing that lasted less than 1 year. Im an auto shop open for almost 3 decades, but they are going to make up an excuse to me like I dont know my crap. I orde a used unit programmed it myself for quarter the cost. And they still hadn't even given me a answer with the ecu I sent back, and today they are saying its customers cars fault hahaha worthless company worthless staff worthless service. STAY AWAY im a shop and they are this bad. I would never want my customers to deal with garbage companies like this. I will file a complaint by the bbb and bar. Depending how they handle this situation by tomorrow. The audacity to tell me they will sell me another unit for 20% off Imao. TRASSSSSHH By the way when I ordered the unit it says 3 to 5 days it took 27 days then they call me and tell me that I need to send a photo of the old one so they can match it.... what was I waiting for ??? Like seriously??? Worst business i have ever dealt with. read more

I sent my ECM in for repair and IT WORKED!!! I have saw plenty of negative reviews about Flagship one and the problem people have had. Just as I had suspected it was people stressing out over a problem that it's not an easy fix. I sent in my ECU to them because it was fried and the dealership no longer makes them. Flagship One updated me at every step they took it through, and their support team responded to any questions I had via email within 24hrs every time! Upon receiving it back and getting it installed, my truck started up perfectly! Please note if you look at older negative reviews on the Better Business Bureau site most of those complaints that were post on the site were before the customers issue was fully resolved it's people getting ahead of themselves with a company that's doing its best. I really appreciate Flagship one and I don't think people should be scared by these horrible reviews! read more

Excellent! Make sure you use the PCM relearn code they send. I tried using the dealer relearn procedure and when it didn't work, I thought this was junk. Then when I looked for the number in my email, I found the relearn procedure. Wow! 30 minutes later my truck starts, runs like a champ, and made me fall in love again! Absolute garbage customer service. Back and forth for weeks trying to get the correct part even though the original module part number was supplied. Their sales staff keeps changing the order because they think they know more. My first and last time ordering from these people. Customer service is awful, you can never speak to an American or anyone that knows what's going on or can get anything done. My customer has been waiting a month for his parts to come in only to find they are incorrect and they refuse to ship the correct one because their sales staff claim its the incorrect part. $1,300.00 I as a company have to eat because there lack of service in order to get my customer back on the road. My auto repair shop has attempted to do business with this company 2 or 3 times. Once we were strung along for weeks while I assume they tried to locate an ECM that they said that they had in stock. Eventually, they just cancelled the order. The other times, they flat out sent us bad parts. So much for their testing process. This last return, they would only give us store credit, which is absolutely worthless, given their track record of failure. read more

I shipped the on September 21 and checked my email for updates and everything was going well, until I noticed a had been a week without an updates. I reached out to them over the phone today March 10 for an update, which is when I was informed that my ECM has been LOST in shipping - after Flagship sent it out to another company. I'm giving 5 stars because of the service I received while having to return the first ECM that was shipped to me and didn't work. When I called, I quickly received my return authorization RMA number and shipped my unit back. They quickly sent out a new unit and my mechanic installed it and it worked. Drove my vehicle about 60 miles to get the ECM in the ready mode to pass smog. I was able to monitor my status with my OBD2 scanner so I knew when I would be ready to have my car pass the smog test.
