This is the second place I have been axe throwing. I like it better than the first spot. The gentleman who checked us in was very thorough and fair. Fair meaning he didn't want to start time on our lane if we wanted to get food to eat while playing. It's a plus even having a snack bar. Then also offering to wait to start time was a nice little bonus. He also wanted to make sure all three people in our party could stick one throw before starting time. Other than axes, this place also lets you throw knives & ninja stars with instruction on how to throw those, too. Near the snack bar there was also an air hockey table, video games & crane games. This facility also has darts and laser tag available, but I did neither of the additional activities. If you're not wearing closed toe shoes, they have loaner crocs up for grabs...although I'm not sure who would wear open toe shoes to this place or why they would. read more

We visited FlagTag on a Monday night while in Flagstaff, and it ended up being such a great stop. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, which made the whole experience even better. It wasn't very busy, so we had plenty of time to enjoy both the arcade and laser tag without feeling rushed. The menu had a nice variety of options and was reasonably priced, which was a pleasant surprise. Everything about the visit felt easy, fun, and well-run. While visiting Flagstaff, we found we had to kill a few hours between activities. We have the Get Out Pass and saw Flag Tag was an option, with one round of laser tag. When we got there, we realized it was more than just laser tag they offered. They also had arcade games, axe throwing lanes, knife and star throwing, and pizza kitchen. We went during the weekday and it was nice because we basically had the place to ourselves. Laser tag is always fun but I think it's better without worrying about the other random people. The phasers are designed to be two handed and had two range/firing options. The two story arena was pretty big and had lots of places to hide/shield. They also had these spots where you could get different boosts for the game. Per usual, rules were no running, no blocking your sensors and to have fun! After our round of tag, we did some of the arcade games. If we had more time, we would've snagged one of their axe throwing lanes. Maybe next time we head up north we will come back and try it out. read more

This is a great spot to stop whether you live in town or are simply in the area on vacation. I like that the throwing lanes also offer knives and ninja stars for throwing, other spots we've been to that are similar only offer axes so it was fun being able to try something brand new. The laser tag area is pretty big, and each game seems to last a decent amount of time which is nice for the price. While they do not have a giant arcade area, the selection they do have a fun selection of classic games like racing games, skee-ball and a few others along with several claw machines. I did also notice that in the corner near the laser tag area, they have several board games and a giant version of connect four available to play. There is plenty of seating & tables to sit and wait at if you have family playing games, but don't want to play yourself. You can pick up snacks, drinks or pizza at their food area and they have a few lanes that offer dart throwing as well. This is a pretty decent sized spot & even though we went on a Saturday afternoon, we were lucky and it wasn't super busy so we were able to get a look around and enjoy our time together. read more

Stopped in for a party that a friend was throwing and I actually had a lot of fun. We had an a axe (hatchet) throwing tournament, played a couple laser tag games, giant connect four and some video games. They also had archery tag, foosball and a climbing wall that we didn't try. I would say it's definitely a great place to take kids and an adult that doesn't mind acting like a kid sometimes. We had pizza which was ok. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Only critique is that the place could use a facelift. Maybe murals on the walls or something. It has that "factory" feel to it. read more

Had a fun evening with axe throwing and laser tag although the laser tag was acting up a little bit . Sasha was excellent when working with us from start to finish. He toured us around the facility and then gave out great pointers on how to properly throw the axe and knives. Wow is all I have to say! The activities here are for all ages and I personally found that it would be a great place for young adults. Some of the activities are axe throwing, archery tag, laser tag, and arcade games! The staff here did an amazing job and exceeded my needs! A great experience! We tried the axe throwing while in town and everything was spectacular. Masks were to be worn the entire time on the premises and hand sanitizer could also be found. This was our first time axe throwing so he was a ton of help and brightened the mood with humor when we missed the targets. Wish I could give zero stars! The owner was oh so kind when he greeted us & took our payment. We were on vacay here & we wanted to take our twins somewhere fun for a couple of hours to run off energy. We paid for two laser tag sessions each & 2 ax throwing sessions. The first laser tag game was over before we knew it bcz our boys were the ONLY people playing! Fun? Not! The second session of tag was really fun bcz there were 6 others playing! I let the owner know there was no tissue in the ladies room (per the sign on the door to let them know...) the owner made some snide remark... The owner forgot that we had ordered a combo which included the ax throwing... We had to remind him... And we asked him if it would be safe for 12 yo boys. He assured us & said there would be a video & personal instruction before allowing them access to axes. (We read on YELP reviews that people had gotten personal instruction) We immediately joined the boys & noticed a timer set for 29 minutes. They had watched a video but there was NO PERSONAL INSTRUCTION! I looked for the owner about 5 min into this & he had gone out... I went to find him again & he was walking in the front door. I asked him if the boys were going to get an extra 30 minute bcz they are required to share a board (one ax to be shared, one board to throw the ax at) The owner told me it's two people to a lane. (Previously we asked him if the boys could use the lanes near our booth-the owner told us no, there are no partitions on these lanes) So why did he make them share a lane??? Rip off! The guy (owner) complained that his biz is failing... I wonder why? I threatened to YELP his biz when he refused to give the boys the time we paid for! I returned to my table. The owner came around the corner yelling, telling the boys, "Get off! You're done! Stop! Now!" The boys were really confused! Nice work, dude! The owner tossed a receipt down on our table, telling us we are done. We collected our items & as we were walking out, the owner, Scott, said, "Have a nice day, Karen!" When he refunded us, we discussed it & I had decided not to YELP him, but the Karen statement changed my mind... You want Karen? You got Karen! I would not recommend this place to anyone unless you want to be treated like crap! The owner & his employees, probably his wife & kids, (bcz who would work for such an ass?) are all pretty rude. And the food... we had ordered pizza- they had to go out to buy the pizza dough! They should have told us there was no dough... We requested the owners wife microwave the cheese... she told us, it's crappy cheese-that's why it's on their free table! she never microwaved the cheese! After the long delay for food, they wanted to charge us $$ for cheese! The best part was the root beer! It was great!! read more

We were on vacation and it was too cold for the boys to play outside so we found flagtag! We stopped in with a groupon for laser tag. We were a bit early and they weren't open just yet. They invited us in and set up the laser tag for my boys. My younger son was a bit afraid and the boys didn't complete the course. I went here a few years back and had SO much fun here. Tried bringing family who were visiting and bragged about it and everything was completely different. The last time I came they had beer and pizza and not some extensive LONG video for both laser tag and axe throwing with these super serious rules to where it's not even fun. The last time music was playing and this time it was dead silent you could hear a pin drop. I understand the safety and all because yes ultimately you are using a axe but the vibes, the long video and the manager being such a fun sucker really ruined the whole experience.
