    Excellent hot n sour soup
    C... D.

Tasty!! Not a super fancy buffet, well stocked with mostly Asian fare - mapu tofu, spicy eggplant plant stirfry, grilled/ baked/ fried fish, shrimp and clams stirfry, veggie options, noodles rice, soups - a cold salad bar ( with cold chicken feet of course) sushi, fruit - too many to name all of them- the Mongolian beef, mapu tofu were my favorites although I did try some cold you-peel shrimps, and the orange chicken looked inviting! Other fare included pizza, garlic bread, vanilla & chocolate pudding, cake slices - and my other favorite was the cold tapioca & taro "soup" dessert. Took pictures of our plates / and a really good hot n sour soup ( zesty, with a great consistency, better than the sit down restaurant we go to!) Very clean, and the clientele of mostly older Asian uncles and aunties on a Monday afternoon tells you food is gonna be good!

Everything tastes good and fresh 10 of 10

The ambience with calm music reminds me my app for meditation, they have a huge screen with videos about forest, mountains etc and then the food is delicious and you can taste the food was made for traditional Asian cuisine, I really enjoyed and recommend this place with a very affordable price on weekday

The food was tasty and fresh during the lunch hour. Likewise, the service was good too. I enjoyed the variety of options and the spacious seating. I'd definitely return!

We heard mixed reviews about this place, but decided to finally try it because we love buffets. From outside it doesn't look very big but when you go inside, the space is pretty large. The staff is very friendly and they're very busy making quick rounds to keep everything clean. Dinner is a pretty good price being a little over $20 with drink included for dinner . There is a good selection of food, a little more than your typical buffet place with all the normal Asian cuisine's . They're cooked oysters are really plump and juicy and there's a lot of mussels with the Mayo cheese topping. The cold section had a lot of roisters, rock, crab, and lots and lots of sashimi. Overall in the Portland area, I would maybe consider this the best buffet place.

I enjoyed the buffet. More options available for lunch than I thought. Not busy, super clean, most dishes were just okay. A few were really great, and a few not good at all. But my husband and I disagree on what's good and what's not. Neither of us liked any of the desserts, we both liked the sushi we tried, and we both did not like the steamed fish. Everything else we disagreed. Would go again and plan to return. Great place to take my lactose intolerant family members.

It made the whole evening feel special and relaxing. The food was amazing fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Everything we ordered exceeded expectations. A huge shoutout to our waitress, Nancy! She was so kind, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. We can be a little picky with our food, and she went above and beyond to help customize our entrées so they were exactly how we like them. She made us feel completely taken care of without ever making us feel like we were being difficult. Between the beautiful view, exceptional service, and fantastic food, this place is a must-visit.

Took our out of town friends with a short layover at PDX to make a reservation. And, especially on a hot day, just lovely to be in this place with big windows looking at the river. The staff was great- busy with dinner service but still providing plenty of attention. We had a table of six upstairs which I recommend for a nice view even if you aren't seated at a window table. Noise level is near perfect- buzzy but no one needed to shout for normal conversation and that's with a pretty much full house. We may have skipped this place for years but clearly many people don't- crowded and we used valet parking because their parking lot was full. They don't charge but as downtown city people we tip. And, of course the food- perfectly fine, ample menu with lots of choice, fish forward but a couple of meat choices for silly people who avoid fish, shell fish. Everyone cleaned their plates except me, the remains of my crab/ shrimp salad, under $40.00, loaded with crab and shrimp came home for in a box for a more than ample lunch. And, boy do I love a restaurant that boxes up the food rather than dumps a take-out container for me to do it. Really nice classy touch. I rate the food as well executed with a full range of standard choices, nothing ground breaking but good solid plates. This is certainly the place for entertaining a party- everyone will find a sweet spot on the menu in a casual but still feels like a treat meal out. So there is clearly a reason that people love this place.

There are booths where you order food to come cooked, and then the hot pot tables where you order the ingredients and cook them yourself. It's very interactive, and they have plenty of meats, vegetables, tofu, dumplings and noodles. You can choose the broth you want at the beginning and they'll bring out the pot. Each pot is split in 2, so you order one regular broth and then a spicy broth. They also have a veggie broth, which I really enjoy. You can grab things from the salad bar, and they have different sauces/oils you can take and add to your soup. You're able to really customize the experience. It's a fun little experiment you get to do with your friends and family. The space itself is busy with customers walking around and staff brining drinks and food, but it's not crazy. We joke that the steam from the soup is a nice facial treatment. Lol. You can end the night with an ice cream cone and lollipop in the waiting room. I've been a few times, and I will say the first time is overwhelming with trying to figure out what to do, but after that you get more confident and interested in curating a soup that's to your taste.

Once we were seated though, things went downhill. Only one person out of our four person table had done hot pot before, the rest of us were clueless. The server didn't bother to ask if we understood how to order and were super unhelpful every time we asked a question, kind of waving us off. Apparently you place an order and have to wait 20 minutes before you can place another order? What? I've been to kbbq plenty of times and have never been met with this delay. We got their original soup base and curry base. Both were mid. Not very flavorful until the very very end when we had finished cooking and were ready to leave. Maybe eating boiled meat just isn't for me, but I feel like everything was pretty bland and tasteless. The best part of the meal was the ice cream we grabbed on the way out imo. They gave us $20 off coupons randomly, said we couldn't use them that night. Probably a ploy to get us to go back, but not even with a discount like that would I go back. Straight to the trash. Save yourself and go to kbbq or the Asian buffet that's 10 min away. Disappointing night out with the fam.

Instead of the customary, meat-centric meal, we went on a Friday afternoon for a Market Table lunch. The vibe was cozy, not overly chaotic or crowded, and the service was attentive. Though the 'Table' seemed a bit abbreviated compared to the downtown location, there were still plenty of lettuce greens, marinated and roasted veggies, potato salad, charcuterie-style meats and cheeses, smoked salmon, sliced fruits, and an especially yummy chicken salad. The breads served at the table were the same as usual and, if you wanted a different vibe, there was also sliced French bread and butter located at the soup/rice/bean (feijoada) table. All and all this was a really good experience for us and we plan to do this again soon.

Like others have said, it feels like they go cheap on the more premier meat options so I got the same rotation or cheaper stuff over and over like chicken and pork as opposed to better cuts of steak. A couple of meats I never even got to try because they never came to my table, and one meat I really wanted didn't come until the very end basically at the end of my dining experience. The salad bar was excellent, and my wife and I probably enjoyed that and the table sides more than the meats themselves.
