Front desk women interupted me while i was talking to her to tell me to pay before she even welcomed me or smiled, i was treated like a fly she wanted to shoo away. All the workers are the same you ask a question they give no clear answer & cant wait to get rid of you. This customer service is beyond rude & borders on stupidity becausr im not comming back. Wanted to try this Asian buffet tucked in the corner of the Strip mall on 122nd & Division for awhile. There's basically only one reason to come to places like this: to fill up on generic Asian dishes & seafood. Atmosphere was pretty sterile with Travelogues showing on a big screen & cafeteria-style seating. Place was busy on a Saturday afternoon but there's plenty of tables. Tables were bussed frequently and the buffet table was replenished as needed. The variety of items was standard for Asian buffets with a wide selection of Chinese entrees, sushi, soups, noodles, fried items, desserts & fresh & cooked seafood. Most of the items were meh to very good, but the standout item was surprisingly the fried frog legs (lightly battered & delicious). The snow crab legs were also decent sized. For roughly $25/each for dinner (less for lunch though seafood items may be fewer), you can definitely get your $$ worth, especially now with the cost of eating out sky-rocketing. read more

Tasty!! Not a super fancy buffet, well stocked with mostly Asian fare - mapu tofu, spicy eggplant plant stirfry, grilled/ baked/ fried fish, shrimp and clams stirfry, veggie options, noodles rice, soups - a cold salad bar ( with cold chicken feet of course) sushi, fruit - too many to name all of them- the Mongolian beef, mapu tofu were my favorites although I did try some cold you-peel shrimps, and the orange chicken looked inviting! Other fare included pizza, garlic bread, vanilla & chocolate pudding, cake slices - and my other favorite was the cold tapioca & taro "soup" dessert. Took pictures of our plates / and a really good hot n sour soup ( zesty, with a great consistency, better than the sit down restaurant we go to!) Very clean, and the clientele of mostly older Asian uncles and aunties on a Monday afternoon tells you food is gonna be good! read more

Usual spot I had a coupon in the mail the guy in the counter was serious and is not nice and it was a $10 off. $25.99 per person he charged me $70 I was to excited to notice but it should have bin $67.99. I honestly think he just didn't want to give me the discount. read more

The ambience with calm music reminds me my app for meditation, they have a huge screen with videos about forest, mountains etc and then the food is delicious and you can taste the food was made for traditional Asian cuisine, I really enjoyed and recommend this place with a very affordable price on weekday read more

Lunch Buffet review. A bit of mixed feelings. Some pretty good things, some just barely okay. Some were blah. The price seems relatively fair for a buffet of this type and the general cost of dining out now. They try to please, but I doubt their losing any money. I would imagine it's price point is better than most, though. Shrimp still in the shell with the head on and obviously not deveined didn't impress, And messy to peel. The used plates are picked up quickly so that's taken into account. The salmon was way overcooked and seemed like they were the parts leftover when you fillet them. Still edible if only they were cooked much less. The baked desserts were actually pretty good. Ice cream in cups were also surprising good. And I don't like cheap ice cream. I didn't try the soup or salad or American food, but they looked fine. Very seafood forward with an Asian twist. No cocktail or tartar sauce, though? Lots of sushi, but I don't eat that by choice, I'm old and not used to that in my diet. It's probably just imitation crab which would be safe for me. That's about as "sushi" as my tummy will allow. Soda pop and tea are included. Senior discount, too. I'd say give it a try if this is what you like. Get there early, as it fills up fast. A very international clientele so that's a good sign for food variety. It's very clean and the food doesn't run out. Some dishes were warm enough, some were not. Don't expect a Chinese food restaurant or an American buffet. The traffic in that area is like at rush hour level a large part of the day. I do not miss living out that way as it takes 2x as long to get anywhere than it did in the early 80s. Too many unsynchronized traffic signals, too many crosswalks and a reduced speed limit. We paid full price for our dinner buffet but at 7:00 pm the crab was gone and they weren't going to bring anymore out. Then at 7:30 pm the oysters ran out and they stopped serving and wasn't going to bring anymore out. We paid to eat oysters and crab legs but didn't get any and they close at 9:00 pm or 9:30 pm. And when we complained about it to the owner or manager he said he knows and wasn't going to do anything about it. They should not charge people full price if they are mot getting crab legs and oysters and should let guests know before they pay. Give them an option and if the customer wants to eat then offer them a discounted price. read more

Alright let's get down and honest for the value here. It's great for what you get, giant sushi bar, poke, some desserts, soup section (hot and sour soup, egg drop soup, miso soup, taro soup), hot food section, crab, crawfish, noodles, stir fry, fried rice. All for less than $30 a person (it's even cheaper during the weekday for lunch). You may feel displeased as a lot of the ladies carting around a giant cart cleaning up tables but for the most part this place is clean. If you see a mess tell someone! And contrary to what someone else said about cockroaches there were none here, I've been here 6 times. Since 2023-2024. The only thing I can say that needs work is they are sometimes stingy about the crab legs or oysters on weekends or holidays (blame the greedy folk for taking 2-3 plate fulls of them). So that can be a little slow but for the most part it's great. I also love that you get unlimited refills for drinks and it's self service. Holiday reviews: Thanksgiving - they were open and they served SMOKED TURKEY. This was really good! Christmas - they were open and serve crab legs (snow crab and Jonas crab). read more

We heard mixed reviews about this place, but decided to finally try it because we love buffets. From outside it doesn't look very big but when you go inside, the space is pretty large. The staff is very friendly and they're very busy making quick rounds to keep everything clean. Dinner is a pretty good price being a little over $20 with drink included for dinner . There is a good selection of food, a little more than your typical buffet place with all the normal Asian cuisine's . They're cooked oysters are really plump and juicy and there's a lot of mussels with the Mayo cheese topping. The cold section had a lot of roisters, rock, crab, and lots and lots of sashimi. Overall in the Portland area, I would maybe consider this the best buffet place. read more

I went at 8:30 this evening for a quick dinner. Unfortunately the lady at the cash register was rather rude and unfriendly. Also, the food was not hot enough. Offering food that is too cold can lead to health hazards. The management needs to start getting its act together. When I first went to FJ Buffet in 2024 the restaurant seemed different - more attentive staff and better food. Decline is the first step toward going out of business! read more

The venue was spacious. The staff displayed friendliness and took away empty plates very fast. However, the food quality left room for improvement. During my initial plate, three out of the four items were cold, with one being unchewable. The second time I went for food was the same. Some dishes seemed less than fresh and remained unreplenished, probably because there weren't many customers there. When more people came, they started getting more food out including new items. I finally got to eat some fresh food but I was almost full. Many dishes lacked flavor, and the beef was consistently hard to chew. Among the choices, the chicken skewer was my favorite. read more

I enjoyed the buffet. More options available for lunch than I thought. Not busy, super clean, most dishes were just okay. A few were really great, and a few not good at all. But my husband and I disagree on what's good and what's not. Neither of us liked any of the desserts, we both liked the sushi we tried, and we both did not like the steamed fish. I went here with my 7 year old daughter for lunch. Pretty much right at the opening so that everything would be fresh. I went expecting to get Crab, but when we got there, there was no crab. Not really much of a selection. I got 3 different kinds of noodles, which were good with soy sauce and sriracha. Beef chow fun was good minus the beef, the beef & broccoli was good minus the beef. Egg drop soup, not good. No flavor. I had some fried chicken wings, they were okay. Spring roll was good, cream cheese wonton was okay. Veggie sushi was good and the salad was good, but very plain. Only cucumbers and tomatoes as toppings. Cucumber had a weird taste. To me the best thing that day was the Dr. Pepper. It was fresh and crisp. My daughter enjoyed the food she had because it was mostly fried like fries, fried chicken, and a couple pieces of sushi. And then dessert was her favorite of course. I didn't have dessert because by that time I was just kind of turned off by the quality and also what wasn't available, that I originally came for. They really didn't have much meat options either. This is my first time coming here with my family. We came at lunch. It was an open area with buffets all around. Lots of good choices. It was very easy to pick what you want or skip what you want. Four different types of soup: Miso, Egg flower and Hot n Sour and Tapioca (dessert)? The service is great. People picking up plates from our tables. The ambiance is nice and open. Very comfortable. I was surprised to see so many different varieties of seafood available. And sushi bar too. And drinks included in your meal. And ice cream cups plus dessert. read more

Over all this buffet is not good, I came in earlier and they had their food out, I realized it was cold. I asked the chefs to warm it up. She take the same deep fried crabs and refries it again. You paid before u walk in and after that it's help yourself to the food and drinks. They have Chinese dishes and some nice sushi dishes. A newer buffet spot that opened up earlier this year. The exterior may look small, but once inside, the place is pretty spacious. What i really like about this place is that it's pretty clean inside and the the spacing. We came for a weekday lunch, which was $14.99 a person and included soft drinks and ice cream. The food was neither amazing or bad, its your typical buffet style food. There were a couple items that were pretty tasty - the stir fry pork bone-in was super flavorful. I was there with a large group of seniors and I'm sure the restaurant knew and they geared up for a great number of people. The food was good and the service was OK when you can find someone if you needed something. It was a good first time experience overall and I would recommend it but when something ran out they were not quick to replenish the item. Keep in mind this is a buffet so you'll have to pick and choose the items that you want. Sadly there was not a soft ice cream machine and only had ice cream in the Dixie cups. This restaurant is part of a larger mall so there is plenty of parking which is a big plus. read more
