I called my dad (he used to own his on HVAC company and I worked for him as a marketing clerk most of my life) to listen to the noise we had and he confirmed it was probably just the capacitor. So I put it out on home advisor to get some pros and had the first 'pro' come out to look. Simply said "it's our capacitor how much to replace it" and he refused to listen and said we needed to replace EVERYTHING (mind you my husband and I are recent college grads and don't really have that kinda money). He refused to just slap a capacitor on to prove if I was right or not and said a sales rep will be back Tuesday. It was a nightmare (no heat in our house when it dropped to 30 overnight). Had a wonderful friend recommend Classic so we called them and they came this morning. Instantly said "yup it's your capacitor, let me slap one on and make sure it didn't hurt your motor too". I immediately knew this was the kind of company that wouldn't BS or swindle me. Ty did an INCREDIBLE job and even flushed our drain pipe for us and installed a pressure valve for easier cleaning later on. The price is affordable and made sense for the work done, honestly priced the exact same as my dad said it would be to have a tech come replace the part! I waited... and waited... It took a month to hear back, but I finally got a text with a date.... No phone call, just a text. No status update, just a text saying when he would show up to fix my refrigerator. He comes when I'm at work, so my wife had to deal with the install. He worked for around 5 minutes and come to find out, instead of installing a new hinge, he simply drops a screw in the hinge hole and tells my wife that it's the correct fix. I've attached a video of his repair that he charged me a total of $325 for. I can't understand how any business would ever do something so shady and unprofessional. Now I'm out of $320, and my door is worse than when he showed up. Very unprofessional and sneaky. What a dissapointment.
