So basically I was already on the hook for the diagnostic and I could either have that deducted from the $270 or pay them the diagnostic and go hire someone else again to diagnose and fix the issue. In my case there was some excess lint in the machine that fit on a paper towel.. it took less than 10 minutes. So I spent $270 to have some lint removed which felt like a rip off but I thought oh well at least it's fixed. Then they said only cash or check, I wanted to use a card so annoying but whatever, I wrote them a check and about a month later they said it didn't go through, I reached out to my bank, no reason it wouldn't go through, but now I have a bill and an extra $35 returned check fee.
