This was an odd-job handyman request: repairing a hole in the wall from retrieving a Wifi cable, repainting a few non-color-matched areas, tightening door handles, etc. Pros: the handles are tightened. Cons: the new paint wasn't color matched either, but it was much closer. The problem is, the guy had to come three times to fix it--and each time, he charged a minimum of $150, EVEN IF he hadn't done the job right the first time. By the end, I just told him everything looked ok, only so he wouldn't come back again. And I still need to hire a painter to finish what he started. read more
