Fortunately, I have never met such a poor service and rude attitude towards myself. So, four days ago, he set my car to replace front rotors and brakes and lighting lamps. Unfortunately, I got the wrong parts. The manager Raf informed me about that and said that he is going to charge me, in any case, $ 115 per hour plus taxes. To change the bulbs, mechanist spent 15 minutes he charged $ 56.5 from me. For the fact that they removed the brake disc and put it in place, he took another 197 dollars, spending only 40 minutes on it. Total: $287.28. Today I came again with my parts, The rotors were good, but the brakes did not fit. It was not my mistake I gave to the suppliers my VIN #. Instead of taking my car from the car lift and wait for the right brake pads, he left my car in there and were waiting for the delivery guy. After 1.2 hours a delivery guy came to him with the wrong parts too. Then, the manager reordered the parts. Finally, he charged me $190 for the parts and $197.73 for a front brake replacement. Totally, I paid $438.12. When I told him I am not going to come again to this place his answer was: "You have the option to go for Mercedes Bens and have the service for $160 per hour". But the level of service in Mercedes is uncomparable great! The name of this service place is "Elite Automotive & PerformanceInc" at 523 Garner Rd. East, Ancaster. Elite service???? Hmmm.. People, do not come to this place, you will get a pour service for $115 + HST per hour. Also, manager Raf is a very rude person for whom people are simply a source of money.

    I'd taken my car here for years and loved it, then had a few bad experiences during the pandemic --…read moreleft my car for scheduled service that was not followed up on in a timely manner, follow-up work not done, no information given on repair timelines, etc. So since then I have taken my care to the dealership. I thought it might be the pandemic and it might be time to give them another chance. Boy do I regret it. I made an appointment weeks in advance for an early morning and put both online and with the lady on the phone that the a/c was not working -- the air blows but it doesn't get cold. Brought my car in on time. The person at the desk told me they couldn't say when it would be looked at as they "only have two a/c techs." Went for a local appointment and walked by Eccles 2 hours later -- my car was still in the same spot I left it. Went home, called four hours after I'd left my car there for an update as I hadn't heard anything. They hadn't looked at it yet and didn't know "where it is in the lineup." ??? Isn't the point of having a 9:30 appointment that it is in the 9:30 slot? Isn't that what anyone would expect for an appointment anywhere? Would anyone who works at Eccles be ok with this themselves -- dinner reservations, dentists, doctors, haircuts, anything? You show up at 9:30, hang around until 1:30, ask them when you'll be seen and they tell you they don't know where you are in the lineup? No. I told them in that case I would come pick up my car and take it to the dealership. Did so. Got there and got my keys and the lady said, "I'm sorry, I was hoping I could get it looked at today, but we only have two a/c techs." WHY ON EARTH ARE YOU OFFERING A SERVICE THAT YOU CAN'T DO? If you can't do it, don't make us go through the effort of time off work to bring it in only for you to hold the car hostage because you aren't actually able to fill the service that day. How long would it have been sitting in that lot, waiting just for someone to look at it and figure out what's wrong? Never again. Never ever ever taking a car of mine to Eccles ever again.

Checking with my "old mechanic" in Toronto, the exact same quote was $250 less expensive. I cannot comment on the quality of the work, but the price here is on the very high side.

My husband always brought our vehicles in but since he passed I am on my own and my dealings with them have been completely satisfactory - no problems whatsoever. The next day, the low oil light came on. I had to pull over at the side of the road to check - indeed there was no oil measured using the dipstick. Luckily, I was a few hundred metres from a RONA, where I bought oil, and then a quick trip to the Honda dealership. Closed for the weekend, but today I learned that the timing belt had been installed incorrectly, so the oil had all leaked out. I was that close to have a seized engine and thousand of dollars in repairs. I called Active Green + Ross and they said they would do nothing unless I could drive the vehicle back to them...without oil....and I thought they were the car experts! So, they elected to take no responsibility whatsoever for correcting their mistake. I have the photos and description of their shoddy 'repair' from the Honda Dealership, but they say 'only our photos will do'. In my opinion, this is how an unreliable and unethical company operates. Rather than doing the right thing, always finding a reason not to. So, I will be contacting my lawyer and initiating a small claims court case. Obviously, this is a lot of time and stress. My recommendation is to stay away from this place. You have choices and you should choose a place that stands behind their work.
