These people are liars…read more In November 2024, my girlfriend went to Total Tire to get her winter's on and store her summer's. She was told there was no storage fee for the first time as part of a new customer promotion. She then went back in April 2025 for her swap and to re-store her tires. They charged her the storage fee ($100). Now we have moved, and she wants to get her tires out. We call and they say it will be $100. We ask why, and they said because when she paid in April was for her previous storage (Nov 2024-April 2025) and not for her most recently storage (April 2025-present). She said that can't be true because her first time storage (Nov 2024-April 2025) was free, so what she paid in April would have to be for her current storage. They said they never even did a new customer promotion like that. They then transferred her between three callers, all of them berating her and calling her difficult, and then they started saying "Go get your lawyer. Do you just not have $100? Do you need a donation?" They then told her to not show up without the money or she isn't getting her tires.

I called Mark's Auto service to see if they worked on classics, I spoke to Mark himself and…read morementioned that I had an oil leak, and that I was aware that these classics were noted for leaks, I stated that I was aware that the valve covers and oil pan were sweating, but did not know if the front crank seal was leaking or not. He set up an appointment for 9:30 on a Wed. morning, I was there right on time, not sure why he requested I bring it in that day as it sat there all day and they did not look at it until the following morning. Mark called me the next morning and asked if I would like to come down and see it while it was on the hoist. I went down and he told me exactly what I had already told him ( that the valve covers and oil pan had a very slow leak) he did tell me that the front crank seal was not leaking and said that I could drive it like that and bring it in later if I chose to have the gaskets replaced. I decided to wait until the fall. They presented me with a bill for 175.00 just to look at the vehicle, another 4.38 enviromental fee ( do not know how they came up with an enviromental fee to look at a vehicle) plus the tax which was grand total of 202.13 just to look at the vehicle in order to provide me with a quote to repair the leaks. I have several classics and have never in all of my life been charged to look at any of my vehicles to quote on a repair, I said to Mark that I could possibly understand a small charge to look at it but this was rediculous, his response was that is what it cost and he walked into another room leaving me with no alternative but to pay this rediculous bill. It is far less expensive to take your vehicle to a dealer than it is to this place, I will not be taking it back there to have the gaskets replaced and strongly suggest that if you require any repairs on your vehicle that you take your vehicle to another shop where you will be treated fairly !!!!

The service was punctual, and very satisfying. I must have driven by this shop for decades but never noticed it as the exposure is in the back. I'm very happy they fit me in with their service. If I don't have time to shop around for the best price for a work, I will go to this place. Also, these guys are usually busy and you should get an appointment. Sometimes they don't honor their commitment after you leave your car, they may ask for additional time or ask to visit another day. This is a big disappointment for someone in a tight schedule. Not sure if they provide complimentary drop.

I haven't looked back since then. I've gone back several times now, and the guys at Trotters are exceptional at explaining the how's and why's of what they're doing to your vehicle. They're extremely transparent (I've admittedly gone back and done a bit of research the first few times they told me what they were fixing in my vehicle, and it always lines up) and professional. I've recommended them to pretty much everyone in my family, but I thought I'd pop by Yelp to give them a good review here as well.
