However, beyond superficial cleaning, they failed to resolve major issues. The pool loses water, makes strange noises, and the hot tub empties itself. They sent a cleaner who had no clue how to diagnose or explain the issue. On my second call, a manager named John promised a resolution but only offered vague updates. He also addressed me inappropriately, calling me "brother," then abruptly ended the call. In summary, YammyPool has ignored critical issues, provided no solutions, and continues to charge us while leaving the system malfunctioning. We expect a prompt, professional resolution or we will escalate further.

We had used another pool renovation company 10 years ago, but when we ran into issues, she would not warranty any work that was done, telling us she was just helping us contract the work. She left us feeling bullied and abandoned. The Dependable Pools Crew came in, offered us warranty included on their work, tore out our old coping, tile, and pool surface, transformed our backyard pool area into a beautiful space that we love so much! This company is the worst. They have serviced my pool for over a year now and over a years time at…read moreleast 15 to 20 times I have had to call them and tell them that their technician is not cleaning my pool. They might skim the leaves off the top. They almost never empty my vacuum bag. They might empty one of my skim baskets. They almost never brushed my pool. I can guarantee you they are not checking my equipment. I tried many times to get the owner to acknowledge and correct the problem. However, it continued. They would offer to send back the technician to complete the job at which time I had already completed it myself or the technician did come back and still did not complete the job. Their technicians are extremely lazy. I have caught them on my camera many times sitting on my lounger on their cell phones and just not doing the work. I gave it a two stars because there were a few times that I did receive a complete 100% job of them doing everything they stated that they do. They take zero ownership and make zero compensation at the homeowners expense. In some, this is thievery at its best. Shame on people.

Later this afternoon, he called to ask if he could come by and, within an hour, he'd not only fixed our issue but he explained the mechanics of it and did some very inexpensive pre-emptive work to avoid future issues with a couple small gaskets. Thinking it was past time to change the sand in our filter, my wife had also asked him to come prepared to do that, as well. However, after checking our flow rate he told us he feels good that our sand doesn't yet need to be replaced - saving us $300, likely for another year or two. In short, John was friendly, helpful, prompt, dependable, very reasonably priced and honest.
