We just built our pool. Pool tech started it up and was supposed to come weekly to maintain it as part of our agreement with our pool co. They haven't come for weeks, and I started noticing the water had changed from a pretty, clear blue to a nasty, murky green. I called them, and they said they were backed up and now had us on the schedule. If they weren't going to maintain the pool, they should've let us know so we could hire someone else. This is unprofessional, and now we cannot swim in our brand new pool in the summer. Very disappointing. **update - I called Pool Tech and relayed the issue, and they sent someone out to remedy it. I appreciated their attention to the matter and understand things come up, which is why they delayed our service. I'm hopeful they will do a good job going forward and will continue to update as I have more experience with them. read more

Our pool was finally finished, we were so excited to finally swim, turn on the spa with bubbles, the lights, etc....unfortunately after just one day the filter pump stopped. Michael from Pool Tech arrived @630PM, after calling just one day earlier, eager to fix the problem. By 8PM, the pool was up and running. Although we were an add-on job and the last job of the day, Michael took the time to explain the problem after making the diagnosis in just minutes. What would seem like a 1/2 day job given the extensive repair, it only took him 90 minutes to complete. He treated us like family! With service like this don't trust your pool to anyone else! read more

We used pool tech for our pool heater. Their prices were very competitive and they were able to install quickly. The install guy was fantastic and knowledgeable. We had a small issue with the piping leaking at the elbow. The owner himself was out the very next day to fix it pronto (after hours might I add). 100% recommend! read more

I can't say enough about Pool Tech and Savannah Duncan! Where do I begin?! Well, after our home warranty company denied our claim we requested a second opinion. Pool Tech came out and we were skeptical of course because a lot of these companies seem to work for the home warranty and insurance companies and not the consumer. Well, Pool Tech changes the perception. Not only was Savannah Duncan professional and prompt, she was extremely knowledgeable. Assessing the problem right away and also offering other great advice and info. After the assessment, she was always available by phone and offered us a great deal to get our heater bypassed after the home warranty company refused to pay. She came right over after we agreed to proceed and our pool system was up and running immediately with no leaks. She was mindful of our pockets and for that...we will refer our friends and family to Pool Tech! Great customer service and great work from start to finish! read more

A very poorly ran company. Extremely disorganized and completely unprofessional. Mary-Anne contacted me to set me up for pool training, which was supposed to be a one time training and cleaning each week for the first four weeks. I was supposed to have salt in my pool on week two. I would literally have a technician come out every three to four weeks and put chlorine tablets in my pool that was supposed be salted months ago. This process was drawn out to about four months before my $100K+ pool was finally salted. I called to explain the situation and even spoke with the owners daughter, Kelsey, asking her if I could at least get one more cleaning for my terrible experience. They refused. What a joke! I am not sure how this company has any good reviews at all, unless it is from friends or family. All around, terrible experience for me and my family. read more

So, i regretfully post this review, but do it so that others who own pools like me, and who count on professionals to do thier job, don't make the same mistake. Several weeks ago I contacted Pool Tech and asked for a technician to come out and look at my pool system. I normally do all maintenance, to include motor replacement, pump replacement etc., but had a situation where my pool motor would only run on low speed. The call went in on a Thursday and I was told they would be out to my home on Tuesday. Come Tuesday, no call from them to confirm, so I called and was told they were on the way. (I was at work, but the pool has access, and my wife was home). Pool Tech was diligent about collecting my $150 services call charge up front. The technician identified the issue, (a bad relay), and told my wife he would price the part and get back with us. She had no idea what a relay was, nor understood what he was talking about. That was two weeks ago. I finally go tired of waiting, pulled the part, ordered it on Amazon and installed it myself ($21 part). I am the one who made the appointment and Pool Tech never called me at all to tell me of their findings. Catastrophic? No. Poor service and complete lack of follow-up? Yes. Had I not ordered the part and fixed it myself ($21 and 10 minutes), would the pool be running? No. Finally, I called them earlier this week and asked them to call me to discuss, as I feel they certainly did not deserve the service call payment. Two days later, they left a message, and said to call back, which I did, leaving a message and phone number. No response. These guys are like realy bad small shop owners. Take your money, and gone. UPDATE! I was just called by PoolTech while writing this review and they identified the relay issue and want to install a new one for $300.00. So, $450 total cost for a $21 part (that I ordered on-line and installed in 10 minutes). Really? You make the decision, but I vote NO, NO, NO, NO. Step away from PoolTech! read more

She was very professional and went above and beyond to try and fix my heater issues to save the day for my son's 10th birthday. Thank You Thank You Thank You Pool Tech and Savannah. A terrible service. Random employees come weekly and do an inconsistent job. Removed our child fence without discussing with us to put up a lead guard. Owner is indifferent to complaints and seemingly could careless about having you as a client. read more

No help Pool Tech. Missed multiple issues with the install of equipment they hold the warranty for. Point the finger at the builder and hide behind policy rather assist. If they didn't build it, then they will do anything but show up to make corrections that impact the warranty and life of equipment. Beware of builders that contract with Pool Tech to finish the install and operation of your equipment. read more

Pool Tech has serviced my pool for three years. We recently went through a renovation with them and I cannot tell you how disappointed we are. Before the work was complete, the final payment was demanded and we were told that if it was not rec'd by 5pm that day that all warranties would be canceled. When I tried to speak to the owner (Jason) to explain all of the work that had NOT been completed, he refused to return my call. Broken furniture, broken hot tub, poor plaster job, left over tile was taken, fountain not installed and the list goes on. We have never been late on ANY payment to them, and up until now had referred them to many of our friends. Not sure what is going with them but until they make customer service and satisfaction a priority - I would not recommend them for pool cleaning and DEFINITELY not for any renovation work. read more

Words cannot begin to express my appreciation for the level of customer service received from Pool Tech. They went way above and beyond to assist me with an issue. My pump died the day before school let out for summer, 2 days before the Memorial Holiday weekend. I called on Weds afternoon completely panicked. MaryAnn was very helpful in assessing the issue and understanding my worry about not being able to use the pool at this busy time of year. The part was under warranty but would take 10 days to come in. Jason came out the next morning (less than 24 hours after I called) and got my pool up and running with a temporary motor so I can use it. I know the company is extremely busy getting everyone ready for the holiday weekend and I am so appreciative that they made time to get my situation taken care of.
