Went into business today and was told my phone wo uld be ready in 45 minutes, which it was. The lady was tryingto put the protected cover on my phone and cracked the new screen, so I had to wait another 30 minutes for them to change the new broken screen, no problem. As I was looking at my phone screen, I noticed the 19 dollar screen protector was missing and they couldn't find it, my 79 dollar phone fix is going to cost me another 19 dollars for a screen protector. read more

My phone didn't have a cracked screen but was majorly glitching because it had been dropped in its back. When I got my phone back it was like new with a perfectly fitted glass and the touch screen was better than before, and all done within an hour. Had been living with cracked screen on my iPad mini for about 2 months (had protective sheet over it) and finally couldn't take it anymore. Stopped in and they fixed in a few hours. Guy noted that there were spots he was concerned about due to adhesive and to come back if a problem. Went on vacay and dealt with minor issues. Was looking for a place to sell my ipad. It had a broken screen and was more expensive to get fixed then i was willing to pay. I knew i could buy an ipad mini for a bit more money. Anyway, i came here and met Tanner and Ryan. They looked at it and said they needed some time to charge it and check to make sure its in good standing and working well. Fast fix! It's the only place in Katy I have found that can fix a phone screen and have it actually work, long term. Last time we needed a fix, we went to a place very close to home and the screen never worked quite right. Everything was a bit off. They wouldn't touch it again (no warranty) so ended up paying again to go to the Apple store (huge hassle and expense). Spent 110 for a screen repair and they made the screen worse. The screen had a yellow tint on it and 15 minutes after I leave the store, I'm unable to press anything. Apps , home button all stuck. Basically I paid $100 dollars for them to make my phone worse. And the only thing they will do to fix it is put another faulty screen on the phone. read more

Second visit, Nadia was who helped me and she was extremely polite and professional. She identified my repair would require a screen replacement and although I decided not to proceed with the repair (my employer can repair for free) she was just as kind as if I had decided to proceed. If you're looking to over pay and be lied to about the quality of the screen on your iPhone 6 being the same, then you have found your spot! The replacement screen is raised and you can see the pixels. When I questioned them, they stated specifically "it's identical to the original screen" they also cracked the case at the earphone jack. Their satisfaction guarantee is useless....what are they going to do, put a broken screen back on and I break my case then refund my money? Update: they have called and would like to replace it again. Will let you know next week how it turns out. Okay, so went back yesterday. Screen was replaced, but still not with a screen anywhere equivalent to an original iPhone 6 screen. On black screens there are spots of white. The screen does not fit flush into the phone as the original did. I was told by the tech that is the best they can do. So in conclusion, my opinion stick with going to Apple, from my research it's cheaper and with better equipment. If this had not been $200 maybe I would settle, but instead I'm off to Apple to see if they will still work on a phone that has been pulled apart and the case cracked. Lesson learned on my part, hopefully you'll head this warning or have better luck. read more

Warning: Do not buy the screen that Fix My Phone is advertising for extra money. The owner will demonstrate that the screen will not crack by using a hammer to hit it. Because of this demonstration we paid extra for this screen on my son's phone. Well it cracked less than 6 months after it was installed. They don't guarantee their work and would only offer "a discount," which is the cost of repair without this so called shatter proof screen. read more

I took my phone in to have the screen replaced and they ended up breaking my home button so that now it doesn't recognize the thumbprint feature. It can't even be accessed anymore. I was in the store for over 3 hours waiting for them to try to fix that. They were unable to and told me to come back the following week as they had ordered a part to fix it. I come back and the manager (I guess that is who he was) told me that that part couldn't be fixed and went as far as to insinuate that I had brought the phone in with that damaged. Now.....they have cameras all over the place in there and could've very easily looked back to when I handed HIM the phone and unlocked it with my thumbprint. Most people have had good experiences here but I did not and there was at least one other person that came in and they had jacked up his phone somehow as well. I have no clue what the story was on that but he was not happy when he left. I would try using someone else who isn't shady like this group of people were (actually, just the manager, the rest of them were very nice and apologetic)!! read more

I choose to go to this place after seeing the amazing reviews on yelp. However, I deeply regret being fooled by the reviews because I have never received such unprofessional and rude service in my life. I went in for a diagnostic for my laptop to see what was wrong with it. This resulted in them not contacting me for a month and fixing my laptop without my permission and breaking my touchscreen in the process. When I asked them to fix my touchscreen they refused to accept responsibility for breaking it. I highly recommend people not to go to this place. I dropped my iPhone 6s yesterday (in a lifeproof case) & completely shattered the screen. I found Fix My Phone online & scheduled an appointment for 4:00pm on a Sunday (they close at 4:30pm). I arrived at 3:40 & was able to speak with someone right away. He took down my information & quoted me on how much it would be to replace the screen. I asked if I would be able to pick it up before they closed at 4:30 (which was 30-40min from then). He said no problem! I was back by 4:15 & it was ready & working perfectly. Can't thank them enough!
