Worst experience ever! Dropped my computer off on a Thursday and was told it would be ready on Saturday. Monday we call and they tell us the parts did not come in and it's not ready. Wednesday we can pick it up. Wednesday we go to get the computer and they broke the touch screen so that part has to ship now. They give us the tracking number for the touch screen and we see it was delivered Friday. Today Monday we call to see how long to put the screen on. They said 30-60 minutes. I brought my TV in 2 months ago and finally got it back yesterday with pressure damage, visible backlight bulbs and debris stuck under the screen (visible in pictures attached) - out the $75 consultation fee and the $116 cost to repair, plus the money I spent to borrow trucks from friends - the owner is refusing to give me a refund and is telling me to bring the TV back in, but they almost ruined my TV last time. A couple years back I took my mom's ipad to be repaired here. All went well and it worked fine, but years go by and I break the screen, My fault. So I decide, it's older iPad now. I'll crack her open myself and fix it. Lo and behold. They had damaged the lcd when they reinstalled it, they never reinstalled the screws that hold the LCD down, and the back of the LCD is filthy with fingerprints and dirt. I had a terrible experience here. If I could leave 0 stars, I would. I brought a broken MacBook Air in to have the logic board replaced; the quote over the phone was in the $280 range - fair enough. I bring it in and leave it there, to be called a week later and find out that to replace the piece, with labor would be about $400. I assume it was the shop owner that called me and rather than encourage me to try to fix the computer I brought in, he offered me a MacBook Pro he had at the shop that "a former employee" allegedly sold him. He even rambled on about how this employee has bought it for a girlfriend who he broke up with, got the comp back, and was "a PC guy, so sold [me] the mac" - what a crock!! He offered me the computer for $375, told me all about how it was better than the one I brought in, emphasized some Retina screen BS, etc. He sweetened the deal by telling me I seemed like a "normal person" and could take the proposed computer home to try for myself. I consulted a few friends more versed in tech than I am and they all encouraged me to consider the Mac he was offering to sell me. So, I went to the shop (left mine there) and took the one home to try. The deal seemed too sweet, so I though I ought to take it to Apple for a second opinion, to see if there was anything funky going on. Sure enough, there was! Diagnostically, all seemed ok, but it was a mess under the hood and the Genius Bar tech advised me it would only be a matter of time before the machine would die. There was a ton of corrosion and water damage, the antenna cover for the wifi card was completely missing, it had a random third party battery in it, and the screws were all put in wrong. The tech looked up the AppleCare history and it turns out it had been brought in for water damage in 2015 by a person named "Abdullah" something. Hmmm, interesting. Doesn't quite align with the girlfriend story, does it? Livid, I bring the computer back to Fix My PC that day; I dealt with a young man there who I will say was quite professional and pleasant (he should really do himself a favor though and disassociate himself from this sh*thole!)... he claimed he was unaware that the computer had all those things going on (which I do believe. The kid is probably 22 years old, in school or something), however I have absolutely no doubt that the scam artist of an owner knew exactly what he was doing when he tried to trade me the computer. I aired my grievances to the young kid who said he would share them with the owner; I gave him the opportunity to *try* to rectify this, at the very least to call and try to explain himself, but even more, to refund me the $40 deposit I put down when I left my computer - nothing. It took me calling back 3 days later to find out there was "nothing they could do." What a JOKE of a business!! Be weary! The owner was very convincing and sounded like a decent guy over the phone. WRONG! Scumbag! Also, be aware; they offer a discount if you agree to leave a positive review online. I can't imagine how this place could get any positive feedback otherwise. Be careful going here!!! Thankfully I trusted my gut and had the wits to go to Apple - otherwise I would have been a victim of fraud. I am not one to complain, or even really take time to write these reviews (I usually make fun of those "dear diary" types), but I think it's imperative that others don't get swindled like I almost did. If I could give this company a 0 I would. Worst experience ever. Please do not go here. I called to see if they could fix a circuitboard in my RV. The guy on the phone told me he could fix it that day. Perfect! When I got there, the guy behind the counter said it prob would be fixed tomorrow instead. HE charged me $40 before I walked out the door. I called Sunday...no answer and mailbox is full. This happens 80 decent of the time. He said he had to order a part and it would be done by Tuesday. I called Tuesday night, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday....every day no one answered and I had to wait for them to call me back from their caller ID. Finally Saturday I called. They told me it would be ready at noon. I called before I left...not ready, the guy who fixes things is not in until 1. "Fixes things"...flag number 1000. Finally at 3 I head over. I walk in and the guy is scrubbing my circuit board with a toothbrush. He said there is a little sticky stuff on it but it should harden within a few hours. He also said he was not able to make sure it works. I originally asked him if he would be able to test it. He said yes. Before I walked out he wanted to charge me another $30...so thats $70 total. The part was $5. I told him I would like to talk to management. He directed me to call another number. The guy said "well, we had to soder it". Duh...Thats how you fix a circuit board. I threw him another $10 and took my sticky circuit board home. Well...by the next day the "sticky stuff" never hardened. We spent 30 minutes scrubbing it off. IT covered the entire unit. We then went to install it. It was missing half of the parts I sent it with. I then had to drive back and sure enough, there were the parts sitting on the counter. He could not find the screws so he began to take the screws from other peoples things so I had screws. After all this...it was not fixed and we had to buy a new one. I am very, very disappointed! I dropped off my daughter's tablet on March 2nd and picked it up today March 18th. Nothing is fixed and I'm out $30, for what? No one ever e-mailed me or called I had to call them! First they told me they couldn't find parts, fine well can you attempt to get the information off of it? the tech said I can try I will call you later today or tomorrow....NOTHING!!!!!!! I will not be taking any of my pc problems to them again. They told 24 hr. on diagnosis. A week later no call. I had to call them. They said they were working on it and would get back to me.They called back later that day and told me how much it wold cost to fix my problem. I said OK. I picked it up a couple days later, took it home, and it still had the same problem. I took it back and they looked at it again while i waited. They said it was a Mcafee problem and removed it from my PC. It took 15 minutes and my laptop is working fine again. Why did they have it for a week, charge me $139 and not fix it right, but then fix it in 15 minutes? Then they were kind enough, not charge me anything extra for the second trip. Well after calling and explaining why I was having problems with my hdmi port on my xbox, the gentlemen tried telling me that it is like a USB port being broken on a computer. "If the USB port doesn't work. The computer itself doesn't work" this obviously is completely false. After saying to him "well I know a computer will work wit a broken USB port" he responded "well you obviously have no certification or credibility to make that judgement." This is the type of business they run when they apparently get caught in a lie. Don't go to this place.. PERIOD... I went in and wanted my iphone 3gs fixed and I was told that it wouldn't be a problem to fix.. the guy named Vince was speaking in large computer technical words to other customers and whispering sweet nothings to people calling in for service who were present in the location.. he's telling people oh no problem.. I was told the guy that does it isn't in till mon or tues..so I waited til weds to call and I was told let me look at it today and give you a call back.. but when I called back to ask about the phone he said it was water damage and there was nothing he can do.. I paid a non refundable 40 dollars and all those large words and how confident Vince was that the phone can be fixed gave me false hope. SIDE NOTE: so after being frustrated with the situation. . I looked up the business on yelp and wasn't surprised by what I saw.. they're rating and all the horrible reviews.. plus I saw the 5 star reviews and ironically I see Vince T as the person who post the 5 star.. so if you want a real judge of this place look at all the 1 stars and not the person who owns the company's reviews. I took my Ipad 3 to a competitor in Pittsford because the volume button wasn't working. They not only did not fix my issue but made it worse. At this point all I had was a large paper weight. On a whim I took my Ipad to Fix My PC and it may of taken a little longer than I expected but they fixed my Ipad 3 like new. Highly recommend. read more

-They called me a liar -Threatened to put me in jail for "lying" -Made my MacBook Pro worse than before I brought it in -Interrupted me multiple times when I tried to speak with them I never write reviews, but I had such a bad experience with this business, that I absolutely needed to. When I brought in my MacBook Pro to get fixed, they we're unaware of their own website saying that they do free diagnoses on MacBook Pros. I told them that I changed out my RAM around a year ago and they took note of that. I asked them when I will be getting updated about my laptop, and the guy told me, about 2-5 business days. I waited 7, and gave them a call. I asked them to call me back after 5pm, and they did not. I called them the next day, and they told me my computer was done being diagnosed and they needed another $75 for further inspection of the Main Board because they did not know exactly what was wrong with it (Apparently free diagnosis and inspection are completely different). I e-mailed them pictures of my computer's specs and they gave me a quote of the wrong Main Board until I told them what kind of processor I had. When I went to pick up my laptop because I was going to bring it to Apple, they put in 2 third party screws which were oversized for my laptop. They said that I gave them my laptop with 2 of the screws missing and called me a liar for telling them I gave them my laptop with all of the screws. Their reasoning for saying that I gave them my laptop with missing screws was because I told them I changed the RAM about a year ago. I admit I changed my RAM, but I DID NOT lose my screws. You would think they would take note of a computer with missing screws (easy to spot missing screws since the screws are on the bottom-outside of the laptop) before they take it in. And the reason they did not take note of it, was because I know for a FACT that all of my Apple screws were in there before I brought it to them. They did however take note of me telling them that I changed my RAM about a year ago. I brought my laptop to Apple, and they fixed my computer for free. They took note of the third party screws being put into my laptop. I bought new screws to put into my laptop, and the screws won't fit because the threads in my laptop are stripped. I know these are the correct size screws because they fit into the other screw spots on the bottom of my computer. Apple told me that they are not an authorized Apple Repair service provider. (It's possible you may not need to be authorized by Apple to service, but I would not recommend bringing Apple products to them) I called them around a week later, and they barely let me speak. They called me a liar, said that I lost my screws, said that I stripped the threads in my computer, and threatened to put in me jail for making false claims, and hung up on me. I felt the need to tell the public of my story to warn people of this business, so no one else goes through the same troubles that I did. EVERYONE NEEDS TO READ THIS!!!!!! I recently posted that FIX MY PC on West Ridge Rd. Fixed my PS3. I actually used it twice in each repair and it went back to the same problem. I just brought it back for the fourth time, which this time I only got one game play out of it. They called and told me it was shot. Which I tought then same and felt that they did all that they could do. When I recieved the call and was told that there was no fixing it, I then explained that I was ready for that answer and that I was out looking for a New PS3 as we were speaking. I wish I read some of these reviews before I went to this place. After reading them I find it funny I had the same experience. These people take your money for a diagnostic and promise the moon then cannot deliver. Instead of giving me the option to fix my machine they claim it will cost more than it is worth and direct me to a pawn shop they do business with. When I confront their so called manager in a calm fashion he proceeds to grab at my telephone and screams at me. Then threatens bodily harm over and over again as he proceeds to throw me out of his establishment. In all my years in retail I have never been treated this way or been subjected to anything near this experience. Run from this place! Just a scam outfit! Update: Now they claim I didn't understand their policies. I understand the policies clearly. The policy is to argue with the customer and threaten him with bodily harm. These are complete lies.
