My encounter with this company left me frustrated, stressed, and doubting their integrity. Firstly, I contacted Starchenko to repair my malfunctioning refrigerator. The technician showed up in his personal car and not a company car. He did not even troubleshoot or diagnosed the fridge. He said the charge to repair the fridge would be $1800. At that point the obvious option was for us to consider purchasing a brand-new fridge instead. I grew suspicious at this point; it seems like All this company wants to do is charge people a service call fee and don't offer any help. As if this wasn't enough, I decided to do some further research and discovered numerous other red flags and other complaints about Starchenko online. The website seems fishy and not completed. Before he hangs up, he says he would have to call his supplier for an estimate on the price of the parts and call me back to schedule a follow-up. That was 1 week ago and I still haven't heard from them. Basically they charged me $60, didn't make a repair, and pretended it was MY fault. This business is operating on incompetence and fraud.

I originally requested the Dryer vent be cleaned because my dryer was heating, but not drying after I purchased the home only a few weeks ago. He came out to inspect my vents to see if there was a need for sanitization, and to clean the vent, and thank goodness he did. Not only did he find mold in my AC unit, but he found that the dryer vent was completely disconnected and taped off. He quoted me, got the parts, and went above and beyond any expectations I ever had. He and his team came out today and cleaned the mold, sanitized the vents, installed a purifier that will keep that will help keep my air clean, and also fixed the issue with the vent so I can finally use my washer and dryer again! He was knowledgeable, kind, and really worked with me throughout. I cannot recommend this company and Sidney enough. He'll take care of you - Guaranteed.

Exceptional job!…read more Turns out I had been living with a 17 year old air conditioner that was pulling way too much power, as well as constantly dripping (which I learned was due to the previous "service" company's failure to install the replacement air handler properly). The gentleman who looked over the system was very helpful in explaining his recommendations (a 16 SEER Rheem... which is one is the more reasonably priced units! Yay!) The crew of two from Complete were on time, courteous, very competent and definitely complete in the delivery of the unit and it's installation. It was a sweltering day and they had to work out in the heat. But they took the time necessary to do the job right. They removed the old unit and took it away. They installed the new unit and did some extra work that wasn't on the work order to do the job the way it should be done. And they cleaned up everything. They also took care of getting me the rebates and credits which were deducted from the invoice total. (Don't you just hate sending in whatever to get the rebate for your purchase. Maybe the deduction from the invoice is normal... just glad it was all taken care of, though.) It has been two weeks and the unit performs quietly and even seems to maintain the desired temperature better. At least I am not constantly "fiddling" with the thermostat like before. If you appreciate knowing what is appropriate for your circumstance, why it is and caring workmanship... check with Complete. It took me two months to decide after their initial visit and they never pushed or pressured... just answered my next set of questions. That is the way to get my business!

Neighbors recommended Ultimate, it was in our BBB book as a 5 yr. recommended business. I checked the 5 five star Yelp, google, Angi and Next Door reviews, I called at 10 AM and RJ arrived at 6 PM. RJ was personable, professional and very neat. I was happy he showed up when he said he would and solved the issue. He assessed our appliance and diagnosed a faulty compressor. Repairs were 1/3 of the price of a new refrigerator, we all felt it was a worthwhile repair. On line, I checked Home Depot and a local appliance shop, his pricing was accurate. The refrigerator is now 2x the price we paid 4 yrs. ago. When scheduling the appointment, I received a confirmation email. I was asked to text a picture of the model & serial number from the appliance in advance. RJ came with all the parts & equipment needed to do the repair. He spent 2 1/2 hours replacing , soldering & cleaning out the lines. He accepted credit cards & we received an email receipt. RJ left his card & told us not to fill the frig for 24 hours. RJ followed up with us the following day. He believes the service contract companies aren't worthwhile as they don't hire quality technicians. As wonderful as RJ & Ultimate were, I hope I won't see them for many more years!
