I went in to see Tim with a slightly water damaged IPhone 4S. Not all the audio was fried, but enough that it bothered me. After finding out from Apple that water damage is not covered AND my one year warranty had just expired the previous day, I took a chance on a local small business. We owned iPads for many years when for the first time we had a broken screen on our newest one. The Apple Store said it could not be fixed and it was not covered under warrantee. The proprietor is very friendly and trustworthy. I went to the shop to have the non-working charge port on my iPhone replaced, but before agreeing to do so, she checked the port and found it just had a heavy build-up of grime.
