I had finally received my license plates. After waiting nearly 6 months. I bought some frames to put on my car. The back bumper license brackets on my car were broken. I had a hard time finding someone to put on my new frames. Normally I do it myself, but with the brackets broken off, it was difficult. I found this body shop. They were very responsive when I called. It was raining hard, and I just wanted my plates on. They looked at my car, and were able to put them on. I was so grateful. After waiting so long. My Equinox was hit from behind on a Thursday while I was waiting for a red light at the end of an exit ramp. Visible damage included a visible crack to my bumper cover and a few dents in the tailgate. My insurance claim was filed same day and the adjuster searched for a recommended body shop. This Fix Auto location was hands down the highest rated body shop within a 5 mile radius. By Monday, I met the Fix Auto estimator Will who did a thorough exam of the damage, pointed out some things I didn't even see. He took pictures and prepped a prelim estimate for me. I gave the go ahead to order parts and signed some paperwork provided by Jennifer, agreeing to terms and condition. The owner Gio stopped in the office to make sureI was being helped and we got into a convo about insurance. I mentioned that the guy who hit me had Aspire and was told that it was a good thing I was using my company for the repair because they stopped doing work for Aspire. When I parked my car I had left my lights on so I found my car wouldn't start. Will jumped my car and pointed out that the battery post had dried acid corrosion on it. I was able to make it home. Will made sure to keep me informed when the parts came in, when to drop off car for the repair, and when to pick it up--from accident to pickup after repair it was two weeks total. Great people, great communication, great service and great repair quality. Will even used some of the leftover paint to touch up some chips that were unrelated to the repair when I picked up the car. I was sideswiped by the backhoe of a construction crew in the city of Rancho Cucamonga. They of course paid for all of my repairs. Our car was damaged in an accident. The damage was almost the entire drivers side. Other places quoted more than $1000 over Fit It Auto and those same places gave us the song and dance about parts supply issues and that it could take months to get the car back. This review is LONG over due (like 4-5 months), but I have been so busy. Anyways, this place was recommended to me through my insurance. I have to say, I get compliments on how good my car looks after being in an accident. They were very communicative. Something to note is we were very patient with getting parts in, due to the shipping delays and product delays. That being said, I did notice after getting my car back my tint is peeling off the window which was not like that prior to being dropped of, only on the side of the accident. Along with this, the leather of my car handle also came undone, and this was not like this prior to dropping the car off. I also noticed some trim pieces didn't line up and they were dented as they were not like this before, but this somewhat k be expected after getting your car back from an accident. They did have great service, but I did know there were small things left undone on my car. Despite all of this, I am sure if I call them they will be more than willing to fix it, I just have not had the time. Before and After pictures included. I want to thank them for their patience in working on my car and their time. They had rushed doing everything, in order for me to get my car back for school. Due to a hit-and-run incident in a supermarket parking lot, the right front fender and bumper of my car had been pushed in resulting in a very large dent. After taking it to three auto body shops for an estimate, I took it to Fix Auto Body in Upland, California. It was at approximately 4:30 PM on a Wednesday that Giovanni, one of the owners of the shop, was starting to close up the shop for the day. Giovanni is a very nice guy who took the time to explain what needed to be repaired, how the car would be repaired and how much it was likely to cost. Convinced by his sincerity and the quality of the work I observed on the other cars that were in the shop at the time, I left my car with Giovanni that afternoon expecting it would take him about a week to make the repairs. To say I was surprised when Giovanni called me at 9 AM only two days later to tell me that the car was ready to go would be an understatement! When I picked it up later that day it looked beautiful! Like it was brand new! It was like the incident had never happened. The workmanship was flawless and the paint matched perfectly. And to top it off, Giovanni's price was less than that of any of the other body shops I had visited. That said, I highly recommend Giovanni and Fix Auto Body. Very meticulous work, done RIGHT the FIRST time EVERY time. Regardless of your insurance carrier, you can take your car to ANY body shop of your choice. You should take it to Richardson. Do not let them talk you into taking it to one their "recommended" shops or to their "service center." For at least 17 years, the company I work for has had any body work on company vehicles done at Richardson, and all of the employees use them too. Richardson Auto Body did some body work and tried buffing out some scratches on our truck. When the work was done it looked good, except I noticed paint overspray on over 50% of my vehicle. On the front windsheild, passenger window, hood of the truck, cab of the truck and side panels. They attempted to get the overspray off, but I'm having to go to a detail shop to make my truck look like it did when I took it to them. I regret going to Richardson Auto Body Shop. I should have stuck with Caliber Collision. Caliber Collision charge more money, but they do quality work. read more

In late September, just days before a planned road trip to Denver, I hit something substantial on the freeway on my way to work which caused fairly major body damage to my car. Not only did the folks at Richardson Auto Body do a fantastic job repairing my vehicle, they had it done in time for our trip as they promised. In addition to this, I just today had a large piece of tire tread hit the front of my car that popped a few fender and bumper panels out of alignment. I called Vic and he said to bring it in before closing and he would take a look at it. After checking it out, he grabbed a few hand tools and had it back together in no time at all and he refused to take any payment for his work. I was recently involved in a car accident although I don't live in Upland neighborhood I had to find a shop near by this one was a lucky accident as soon as I called the shop it was off my shoulder Vic took car of everything from towing to contacting my insurance company Within two hours, my car was there and I had a loaner to take me home. Think twice before using Richardsons Auto body. I took my Honda pilot there for repair of an accident that left both passenger side doors in need or replacement. We went to pick up my car, at first glance it appeared to look good, but once we got home and took a closer look, there were 8 or 9 places that the paint was messed up and it even had an obvious chip out of the door molding. We took it back, big inconvenience, since we had already returned our rental car. They fixed it, took two days, and they sent my insurance a supplemental bill !!!!! Again, we picked up our car, a few days went by, I went to open the rear passenger door, when a vey loud noise, sent me looking for even more things wrong. I then realized that the moldings at the base of the interior of both doors was hanging loose and not properly attached to the doors. Again, back we went. How can a body shop claim a job is done when the hinge on the door was obviously defective and the small little brackets on the moldings were broken. It's not rocket science, I know that body shops use parts from salvage yards, but really, the doors they used on my Pilot had dings and they didn't even fix that. They did reorder a new hinge and the little brackets that hold on the molding, but again, I was left without a car, while they took care of this. After all of this, unfortunate workmanship, I left the body shop' yet again. Still today as I drive on the freeway, I get air whistling in my front window, this never happened before, either a result from the doors they used, or the way they were attached. As if that isn't enough, when it rains, I get water on the inside of my rear passenger side. With all this said, the owner had the balls to tell me not to stress out, it's just a car!!!! I don't know about you, but we all have busy lives and having to go back several times to get something fixed correctly, that still isn't fixed correctly!!!, is reason enough to be stressed. Please, give it some thought before using this body shop. I have to say, I had used them two times years ago, and never had any issues, but I think there is a new owner now. I should have listened to my insurance company when they told me they weren't on their preferred list. read more
