Would give more stars but basic at painting .. left paint drip marks.. Under my hood had a lot of dust from sanding (white in color).. water drip marks of cloudy water left all over my car.. I specifically requested for my window to stay rolled up.. Didn't happen dust left in my vehicle.. some parts of my interior had a type of synthetic shine and other super dry spots (sheen off) as if they wiped it with alcohol.. evidence of use of a harsh chemical(acetone)on the outside plastics and was covered up with a type of synthetic shine.. When I called about it they were very defensive from the beginning instead of being apologetic or somewhat sympathetic.. The assistant manager wasn't very helpful.. Was worse than the employee.. blamed it on the age of the as if it was a good excuse.. my car is garage kept & rarely used. Still looks new beside this hick up from supposed professional.. Of Fix Auto specifically the Quartz Hills Location 5022 w Columbia Way, Don't waste your time going there, It was on my insurance companies list of shops to go to, but as soon as they found out I had a Mercedes they was afraid of it, complained about how hard it was to fix it was ridiculous I canceled that estimate immediately, Philip G. was the guy I dealt with he was the one that was afraid of my car, he asked one of the mechanics if he could fix my quarter panel and the mechanic was like DUH! of course I can, (get this) while I was there an angry customer walked in there and said that on his BMW SUV the panel that was repaired did not match the rest of his car LOL. A professional shop should be more than willing to work on any car, I took my car to Executive auto body and they was more than willing to work on my car and they did a beautiful job and had low prices it save my car from being Salvaged by the Insurance Company. read more

Took my car in for bumper and tail light repair. That was done great. But day I picked up, when I got there I was told my key was stuck in the ignition. So then they tell me my ignition cylinder is broke and I have to replace it. Mind you, it was not broken when I took car in and they had my car for 15 days. They will not take any accountability for the damage to the ignition while in their care and I am having to pay for the part, labor, and a rental car. My insurance referred me to this location to repair the rear bumper on my Kia Forte, after getting rear-ended in a hit-and-run. I took it to Fix Auto in February 2021 and was thoroughly pleased! In the past, I've taken my car to Westside, which I viewed as the best collision and paint center in the AV - the no-brainer, go-to place you take your car without fearing whether or not they would fix it to completion without cutting corners. As it turns out, during the estimate the adjusted told me Fix Auto is owned/ran by the same group of people as Westside - it's all one family pretty much. So I went ahead and had them fix it. I have no regrets, 5-Star service! The personnel were all super professional and friendly, and they kept me in the loop regarding the status of my car both by text and phone. They even finished it earlier than originally planned, with no compromises or lack of attention to detail. My car looks like it just came off the lot, same experience and level of quality as Westside! I would definitely take it back here, as they met my expectations! COVID Side note: I took my car here during the pandemic, and they closely followed guidelines to keep everyone safe - all the staff wore masks, they kept social distance, provided hand sanitizer, etc. If you have to bring your car in during this time, please be assured that they will keep everyone's safety in mind - no one tried to talk to me maskless and stuff. I've been taking my 2007 Beetle here for a couple of years now. Had the rear bumper replaced after being rear ended. It was ready in two days. They kept me apprised of the status the whole time they had my car. This time to replace the drivers door that had a large dent. We scheduled a convenient appointment and dropped it off for repair. Again, Fix It kept us in the loop as to the progress of the repair. They went above and beyond. When we arrived, they had made a decision to replace the damaged speaker in with the better speaker from the new door. At no additional cost. Who does that!?! Fix It Auto does. This place can do Teslas! Came in for a rear bumper tap where plate numbers and screws were imprinted into my back bumper. Also added front bumper deep scrape from a pot hole. Staff was very professional, super friendly and down to earth. This place is not yet Tesla certified, but is in the process to get certified. They can do Teslas very well and is the only body shop I trust for doing Teslas if you're in the Antelope Valley. Closest certified body shop is in Bakersfield or Van Nuys area. Spoke mostly with Juan and Matteo(spelling?), but they were great people and very friendly. This location is horrible and Mateo the manager is shady as can be. He milked my insurance company. My bumper was the only thing that needed to be fixed on my jeep. When I picked it up they charged my insurance $3,100 and the work they did looked like a $1,500 job. They didn't even give me a new bumper they kept my old one on and try to fit it so it aligned properly which it looked like shit. Mateo tried with me like a child and blamed me that my expectations can't be met because he couldn't do the work to make my jeep look like it hasn't been in an accident. Than I found out they put an extra 550 MILES ON MY JEEP!! My oil was at 5% and my gas range was at 86 miles when I turned it into them but getting it back it was at 46 miles. Mateo didn't help fix anything and just argued and was extremely passive aggressive rolling his eyes at me while I was confronting him about these issues. It's like when a child gets caught in a lie. NEVER GO TO THIS COMPANY if you do WATCH YOUR MILES, OIL RANGE, and GAS RANGE. Take pictures before handing them the car so you can have proof if your vehicle comes back not how it was suppose too. I agree with the prior 1 star reviews. Save yourself the headache and your personal time and avoid this place. Went in to get an estimate as this place is on my insurance company's approved vendor list. They asked if the vehicle is drivable? Yep, I drove it here!! I asked again if they could help me as my insurance company sent me to them and the guy basically laughed and said they were so busy they wouldn't be able to look at the vehicle. So, I drove away and gave someone else my $5000 repair job. Poor customer service skills. shop looks like a mess and not very organized. There's way better shops than this one. Manager Mateo was professional, very polite and helpful, and able to bring a smile to the situation. Tootie in the office has a great smile, and carried through on the same good interactions. It was so easy dealing with them, and Mateo was willing to take the time I needed to get various things explained. The work itself was good, and while I hope I don't need bodywork again, I would definitely recommend them to anybody looking to get their car fixed, and they seemed experienced in deal with the major insurance companies. It was bad enough getting rear-ended and going through all of the ensuing things one has to deal with, then finding out that it was not just fixing the rear and trunk, but the frame needed attention, but they made it all easy to get through. So the used car we got needed work mostly in the front area of the car. This is not covered by my insurance so I went in reluctantly to inquire about the service because of a not so good experience in the past at another place many years ago. But there are real people/persons here at this place who are helpful and caring and also informative- I just loved that about them. Anyhow, initially, the guy who helped me, Mateo, is no different. The guy was full of information with great suggestions and ideas to get me through the best possible outcome for me/my car as a customer. So finally, their work was done. It was meticulously and professionally done like a good pair with their office staffs service and so I love my car again. ...and by the way, it's very clean inside their office, I couldn't ask for anything more from this local auto body shop. Their work is first rate. No way can I tell the damage was there, even no way to see any paint difference on a triple coat paint. The incident was on the other party's insurance and Andrew did a great job taking the hassle off me dealing with them. Visited this shop yesterday at approximately 1:30pm; as I needed pictures of my vehicle taken per auto insurance company request. Had an appointment to meet with a shop employee Mateo to simply have pictures taken of the OUTSIDE of my vehicle and emailed to my insurance agent. After taking pictures of the outside Mateo asks for my keys to turn my ignition so as to have it display my mileage; My nephew and I were distracted in our own conversation when I noticed that Mateo was taking an unnecessary amount of time to take a picture that should've taken two seconds to take. Standing near the front passenger side of my car I see through my windshield that this guy is looking everywhere in my car but the odometer and as I come around to the driver side to investigate he turns my car on and proceeds to shut my door on me! I watch him closer from the driver's side I notice his phone was on video mode not Picture mode, unsettled and confused I didn't even know what to say... This was very unprofessional, unnecessary, disrespectful, violating and also a bit shady. I am unfamiliar with the quality of work done here or with any other employees but based on the very suspicious behavior of this one person I wouldn't recommend this business to anyone that can't keep a close eye. If you come here make sure to secure your valuables and put up anything you wish to keep private. Also if you can help it do not allow them inside and rather suggest to handle any business having to do inside your vehicle yourself. I will be filing an official complaint and would strongly suggest surveillance footage be reviewed and at the very least be used as an example of how NOT to treat customers. read more

I got rear ended, I went through the insurance process and what not. Five days after being here I went and picked my car up. I have a brand name unique paint color, and they did a Perfect paint match. They fixed the inside of my trunk which was caved-in to the point my trunk didn't want to open and the plastic was broken. They somehow made my license plate even look untouched. My wife who usually rags on my "POS" because it's five years old went and picked up my car and she called me in excitement about how good it looked. In addition to this they cleaned my car.
