I can't say enough about Clint. We are from Arizona and needed to get our windshield replaced before moving on. The phone message said to text Clint with the number which I did. He responded that day and had me take pictures and gave me a quote. But my insurance company wanted me to call a nationally based company. Their quote was over $200 more and this took up another day. When I called Clint to see if we could get this done in the next couple of days, he was booked - but was willing to do it if he could come late that day if the glass came in on time. I've used AV Auto Glass twice now. The first time was to have a chip fixed in the windshield of my Toyota RAV-4. He quoted me a competitive price and gave me an appointment. The guy showed up on time and did the job quickly. It's held up fine now and it's been almost a year. The second time was because the seal was leaking around my windshield on my classic old Chevy. Again, he quoted me a competitive price and showed up on time. This job required removing the chrome trim around the windshield, and he took it off and put it back on without scratching the paint. He had to come back a second time because the leak was occurring at a part of the seal that he couldn't get to the first time, so the leak persisted. However, we set up another appointment and he came back and resealed it at no charge ( he warrants his work). It's been leak free since then. Also, in the case of both jobs, there was the possibility that I would need a new windshield so I asked him to quote me a price. I shopped around and his price was the best. Got a chip that went unnoticed by myself for a week in my truck as it was in the very corner and turned into a foot long crack due to temperature changes. This was my third windshield, so I know what prices run. After shopping around, I called AV Auto glass. He quoted me substantially lower than the other places to the point that I had to ask him if it was perhaps a stolen windshield. He assured me it was not. Had the windsheild replaced on my van, that part was quick and the price was good, however the wipers did not work afterwards, called got a non commital of when they would be by, called again got the same thing. In a month they cant come back to fix their mistake? went to the dealer and it took them 10 minutes to fix. I am guessing if I ever needed warranty service it would be the same story. read more
