I got a quarter sized chip this morning when I was driving off of Pearblossom. The dent was so bad I knew it would eventually ruin the whole windshield if I didn't take care of it as soon as possible. I called several companies. Some gave me outrageous pricing. Some never got back to me. Others said they were too busy or they weren't willing to do it. Luckily, this was my last call. The tech was super friendly, answered all my questions and was reasonably priced. I made an appointment right away and he was able to come over to my house in a couple of hours. My 2016 bmw seems to attract rocks smacking my windshield . My windshield has been hit by a rock 3 times in the last 3 months. 2 out of those 3 times Fixx Auto Glass has done such an amazing job when it comes to replacing my windshield. My family and I went up to Wrightwood to see the first snow fall of the year. While up there we noticed a crack on our windshield growing probably due to the heater being on inside and being so cold outside. We turned it off and decided to get it fixed at home. I called Paul and he gave me a good quote. He came out at a good time for me and walked me through the process of the replacement. I was concerned about the replacement windshield leaking air inside but he ensured me that he takes his time on it so it does not happen. I am extremely happy with the outcome. They were recommended to me by someone in the Nextdoor app. Come to find out it's a very small operation. I don't mind supporting small businesses when they are great at what they do. Paul is great at what he does. Super friendly and professional. He comes to your location. Charged me $60 to fix a small crack in my windshield when Safelite and a couple of other bigger businesses wanted over $100. Took him about 30min to fix! He fixed mine about 4 months ago and have no complaints. Can't even see where the crack used to be! While driving on the freeway, out of nowhere, a pebble hit my windshield and it just spiderwebbed out across the driver's side. I have a 2015 Lexus CT, and I was hesitant to get a repair done outside of the dealership and after-market glass. Nevertheless, I called around to get quotes. I called three places in the AV and my dealer in Valencia. The first place did not replace glass on my kind of vehicle. The second was Fixx. Paul was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and confident. He asked whether I had rain sensors and if it was heated. He discussed the type of glass he recommended and the type of glue they use to replace it. He quoted me an excellent price, and was not pushy at all. The next place I called was not professional IMO. The gentleman placed me on hold without saying a word. Poor phone etiquette if you ask me. Their price was comparable to Fixx, but they didn't mention the glue or any expertise in my particular glass. In fact, they mentioned that their glass would decrease the soundproofing of the car interior. Not good. Lastly, I called the dealer, they gave me the reasons not to purchase aftermarket glass, primarily, because of the reduction of noise insulation of non-Lexus glass. I called Paul from Fixx back to express my concerns. He explained that they offer a glass that is high quality with superior noise insulation (it was a fraction of the dealer price). I made the appointment and opted for that glass. It's been a few months now, and I couldn't be happier with the performance. Fixx came right to my residence two days later. Paul and his assistant took their time to ensure that the rain sensors and heater was in working order after installation. My car is super quiet inside, just as it was before. I highly recommend Fixx to anyone looking for auto glass replacement for their luxury vehicle. They offer superior service at a fraction of the price. read more
