Yes, my windshield was replaced only thing is.. my windshield wasn't centered or possibly not the correct size. The last time I replaced my windshield, I actually had a ford windshield as a replacement. Tried calling the shop, but line gets re-directed. My rating is for the Customer Service line that you're redirected to when contacting your local Safelite. I was totally misinformed by the gentleman/ customer service representative that took my warranty information over the phone. I was advised by him my warranty Information would be verified prior to my scheduled appointment. I arrived at my appointment location Lancaster, Ca and advised by the gentleman at the service location the company has no capability to access insurance or warranty information. Unfortunately after speaking with customer service and being transferred through 2 different channels of customer service, I was advised that I've been misinformed. I needed to pay for my service and then have it reimbursed through my warranty company. I never got the opportunity to have my windshield replace. So unfortunately, I don't know the quality of the work that should have been preformed. read more

I was suggested this place by my father and he had work done beforw. He said they are thorough, professional, and fast at what they do so I went in. I came here for a cracked windshield on my Mazda3 last month and Henry was awesome. He explained things from the claim, insurance company, what the process would be and everything. They did it fast and when I came to pick up my car, they explained things regarding the caring for it for the next few days. Bad Bad Bad! Awful experience at this location! AAA said I had to get my windshield replaced for the insurance claim at Safelite. Came in to replace the shattered Back windshield Glass my hatch did not get hit or damaged just the glass popped and shattered by hitting a wood board on the glass. My hatched worked perfectly when I brought it in, I have never had a problem with it. When I came to pick it up the technician Henry was acting strange and said let's go inspect the windshield as we were walking out he asked has you hatch light always been on, I said No, I ask him what are you talking about??? My hatch won't close and lock, "so you want me to drive without it locking with new glass bouncing around!?!? I just got nothing but the run around and excuses from the technician. He said continuously it's not my fault, like a child. As my husband took it apart in the parking lot, another technician Saul came and said what's going on and said we can fix it bring it to the garage. He fix it to lock but it's tricky and still doesn't work properly. I believe the original technician Henry broke it and did Not want to be honest!! read more

Amazing! Got hit by a rock and broke my front windshield. Went in for a repair but was upgraded to a replacement as the cracks grew on my drive there. Was scheduled for the next day in the morning, dropped off my car and would get updates back on what they are working on. Car was fixed and finished in about 2.5 hours! It was a Subaru so calibration took a bit which they let me know. Jorge did amazing showing me the paperwork and getting back my keys! I did use insurance on this so it was so much cheaper than I had expected. read more

The tech was very rude over the phone and didn't fix my window instead of fixing my window he left my house to go help one of his friends with their truck and a perfect example of how horrible this company is instead of apologizing for their tech not coming back to his scheduled and confirmed appointment the person in charge of answering reviews is almost as rude as their technician look how they responded to my first review (this is an updated review in response to Safelite after they responded to my initial review about their rude technician). Before you consider hiring Safelite read all the bad reviews about them all over the internet! There are many complaints about their customer service and vehichles being severely damaged which makes me feel now after reading them like I dodged a bullet! The worst. They broke our mirror (which costs more than the windshield). They keep saying they will fix it - but here it remains broken. So today, I called the dealership and they can get the part over night and have it installed next day ... yet the Lead and Manager at the Lancaster store for Safelight said it will take almost two weeks. So, I offered a solution - I told Safelight's Manager that I will take the truck to the dealership to have the repairs done and they pay the bill. The manager explained they cannot do that because they buy cheap parts and install them themselves. I don't really have a response to that - other than, if Safelight employees damage a vehicle, it should be repaired to its original state - not a cheap knock off. read more

Just had my windshield replaced. My insurance company USAA sent up the appointment and Safelite was on time. Not really but they were ahead of the time I was given which was even better. Richard the tech was outstanding. He explained what he was going to do and how he would be doing it. It took him about 1 1/2 to 2 hours to complete the installation process along with recalibration of the automatic breaking and the lane departure systems. Commuting to work 5 days a week, for years, has really taken its toll on my 2009 Kia Spectras windshield. The original windshield had millions of little pits from rocks hitting it over the years and one long crack that ran thru my field of vision. These damages caused a glare that I could not clean off! I had enough! So I called my insurance company, and to my delight, insurance covered it! So they recommend Safelite. I got new glass on the same day! I got to tell ya, what a joy it is to see clearly at night! Safelite has a clean shop with supportive staff. The glass is definitely an upgrade from the previous windshield because of its deep blue stripe at the top. They have a warehouse with most makes and models! I recommend NEW glass over junk yard glass, because you won't get the clarity or durability of new glass. If you have original glass on your car, truck, or van, I highly recommend getting a new windshield based on the clarity I experienced the first time I drove at night! read more

I have a brand new car and you can imagine my horror when I found a chip in my windshield. I was referred to this company by Geico directly. It is on their preferred company list. I took my 2013 Chevy equinox there for my front windshield to be repaired the windshield had to be replaced and they scheduled insulation date after the installation it was raining and my cabin flooded with water I took it so they could look at it but it stopped leaking water I pointed out that some of the molding between the air intake and the downspout was not put in correctly they didn't offer to fix it I was very disappointed after spending almost $1,000 on the windshield thank you for that work there very nice the manager is very nice but you can at least fix the problem very unprofessional read more

They do not accept calls. They only will do business by on line. Horrible customer service especially when they make mistakes.

My technician, Jose, was early without notice, and arrived with a very condescending attitude. Then as he is in my vehicle getting the information he needs, I hear my van unlocking & locking. He was using his phone to unlock & lock my van!!! This is concerning, so I decide to stay 15 feet away and watch. I was not impeding his work space or violating the CDC guidelines. He tells me he cannot do the work with me outside watching. Calls his manager in Spanish, tells me they will call me(they never did, I called them) gets in his van and leaves. I call the manager, Marco, and I am not taken seriously. I call customer care, I am again not taken seriously and they don't know the policy on customers watching the service of their vehicles on their own property. Never again Safelite, you have violated my trust and do not have your customers best interest in mind! Hopefully, I won't get my van stolen! read more

People here are nice, but when I got my car back I saw a very noticeable scuff mark. When I rubbed it off I saw a scratch and a dent. I'm a person that assumes positive intention so I didn't want to blame them. But when I went there they even showed me a picture they took of my car before they did anything to it and there was NO scuff mark there. I just got this car pre-owned last week and they presume to point out other imperfections on my car instead of the one I'm most concerned about. My car is white and I just got it less than a week ago. If that scuff mark was there before (right by the drivers door) I would have noticed it. Drove all the way back there for them to do nothing. We had a great experience with Marco and his team! When we arrived they were closed for lunch (12pm-1pm) which we didn't know. Marco was in the shop area with the door opened and offered to help us anyways. Our back window was broken into and we had bad weather coming, so even though we had an appointment on Friday, we were able to drop it off that day (Wednesday). They wrapped it in crash wrap to keep the weather out, and it was done about 2 hours after our scheduled appointment. They cleaned out all the glass and the window is an exact match to the previous one. We are so happy with their work, and Marco was wonderful to work with. read more
