I have had amazing experiences every time I've come here! Last year I got in an accident, denting the left side of my car. Fix Auto fixed the dent with no problem in the span of a week and got my car back to me looking brand new! They noticed that my handle on the inside of my car was damaged, although this wasn't from the accident they still offered to fix it (with additional fees). I got into an accident in April of 2017, and Robert handled everything with ease and always made sure my husband and I were informed. My husband then required some work to his bumper and had it replaced, and the paint and time this was finished in was impeccable. Only a month later, my husband got rear ended and needed his bumper replaced again. Robert made sure to get him in before he left town for 3 weeks, and got him his car back to him in time for him to leave. I took my truck in for minor damages in April and they said I would have it back in 10 days. They took the truck apart and then they said we hope to have the parts by July. They kept saying they couldn't find the parts, but I found the parts myself with one phone call. They were able to fix three trucks with the parts I found. The manager and salesman will tell you whatever they think you want hear, but you can't trust their words. We were leaving on a trip in 11 days and they swore that the truck would be ready but it wasn't, so we had to drive our other truck that cost us twice as much in gas. They knew our time constrained and they still took the truck apart anyway, even though their parts locator couldn't find the parts. They were supposed to use the light that I purchased as my deductible., but instead they made me pay the deductible or I couldn't have my truck. The deductible exchange had been previously ok by State Farm. I would never take another vehicle to Fix Automotive in Poway. read more

Michael was awesome !!! After being in a hit a run he was really helpful keeping me updated on the progress and he went out of his was to make sure my car was 100%. They didnt notice my gas cap wasn't working until I drove off. Michael called me and let me know he noticed it and that he had order the part because they didnt know if it was part of the accident or not but he was going to take care of it regardless. Let's face it...no one wants to take their car in for repairs. That being said, if you have to, Fix Auto Poway is the best! I *might* have accidentally sideswiped a concrete pillar trying to back out of a parking spot. Mean ole' pillar took off my passenger side mirror and put a decent-sized dent in the passenger door. I cried some tears, cursed the pillar, then put my big-girl pants back on and called my insurance. Fix Auto Poway was a recommended repair shop, so I called them up. From that moment on, everything was a breeze. I got the estimate, brought it in for repairs and actually had it back earlier than they thought! Everyone I spoke with was amazing. I was rear-ended and took my car to Fix Auto. It's safe to say they helped me make the best out of a bad experience. The communication was wonderful, they did an excellent job repairing my car, and they left it 10x cleaner than it was when I dropped it off (which is saying something because I keep my car clean). Took in our car for body work; one ding by another driver (covered by insurance), and a much smaller ding created by us about six months earlier (to be paid out of our pocket). Due to a miscommunication somewhere, we went to pick up the car and found the smaller ding untouched, even though the car had been in their care for about a week. The manager got involved and WOW! We were only looking for a simple fix ( reattaching part of the bumper that was sticking out ) ... and he did that, AND buffed off the paint from the pole that was bumped, AND cleaned the headlights, too. And, it felt like it took less than 15 minutes. So, thank you for owning a 5-star establishment. We'll be back! No, like, seriously ... A quick update, the car was returned to me a week or so ago. During the interim, the vehicle was inspected by one of Fix's electrical sub contractors per Ryan's instruction. They informed me that they were able to fix most of the issues less the iDrive system and the restraint system error. After speaking with my insurance company and Ryan, we decided on allowing the vehicle to be diagnosed by BMW of Escondido. Upon diagnoses, BMW informed me that were some loose connections that were not fitted properly. I received no verification from my insurance company or Fix in regards to who would accept liability but from my conversations with BMW, they expressed a difficulty in attributing anything they worked on as accident related. Upon receiving a call from Ryan, I picked up the vehicle with no further issues. My delay in updating was to ensure no other lights in my cluster popped on or any other further issues presented themselves. In short, I believe Fix did an excellent job with the body work on my vehicle (so far). The astonishing part to me as a customer was how dismissive several employees were when these issues presented themselves within seconds of me starting my vehicle. In my opinion, Fix could have done the extra leg work to ensure these lights were not a liability of theirs prior to me picking up the vehicle initially. The intake form and the release form clearly show differences from when the car was brought in and does not, again in my opinion, imply adequate care or customer service. I would have been more than happy allowing Fix to pursue options while my vehicle was there initially stating something like "We apologize but there were some persisting issues we are performing research on. We will get back to you shortly." In many cases during my experience, I found myself wondering what was going on with my vehicle and thus would have to call. On several occasions, I was advised I would receive a call by end of business yet would not receive a call. I was forced as the customer to perform the due diligence on my vehicle that I believe Fix should have been responsible for while my vehicle was in their possession. I have come to these conclusions due to the ease at which BMW was able to perform the fixes. In defense of Fix, I am unsure if the iDrive system could be attributed to any workmanship they performed. Although, no issues were present prior to the vehicle being worked on. The restraint system warning on the other hand, I was advised was coming from a loose connection of a module in the door where the damage and work had taken place. In my opinion, this is something that Fix may have been able to resolve initially if not for so much initial reluctance. I understand they are running a business and thus there exists pressures that would incentivize cost reduction. In this case, I think those ideologies in cost reduction could have been set aside in order to prioritize customer service and customer satisfaction with the end product especially given the number of return visits I, as a customer, put them through on my initial claim. TL: DR Customer service was sub par initially but changed tones when liability could have been on Fix. Fix does an excellent job as far as body work is concerned but run into issues with more complex vehicle models during extraneous circumstances. One star bump for Ryan and the work he did. read more

I picked this place because it was convenient, near my house and the website looked perfect for my situation.. I took my daughter's car there for insurance purposes to get a quote. I have mixed feelings about this place I'm not saying I wouldn't go here again but I will say they have an amazing facility, and a very clean and open lobby, that is very comfortable. They offer coffee and water and things like that with TV's so you don't get bored. The nice gentleman that helped me 1st for the estimate and photos, told me I would have an estimate within 24 hours...after calling several times over the weeks, I learned they lost my estimate... but no one told me about it. I had to bring it in again and another nice gentleman was very professional as well and he noticed I had a side-swipe on my car that was previous damage... He offered to drive it to the back and take care of that for me aside from giving me a quote! I was amazed and when he came back with the car it looked like it was never there, so I know they do great work. That was superb customer service. The reason they lost a star was not because it took so long for my estimate but because things happen...it is the front desk ladies which I talked to at different times. Lets just say I am a very big with customer service. I'm not sure if it is a family business which can explain that, and they are young girls... I just felt i was bothering them, or was not important at all. No personality, or friendly welcoming. Hope they can change that. Ahhh How short lived was todays happiness , I went to recover my vehicle , everything looked great I was happy with the outcome of the body and paint yet once I got closer too home Unfortunately my car began to say it was low on coolant , and overheating . Limp mode all the way too oreilys. Hopefully no permanent engine damage . I open my hood to see the engine has coolant splattered around . And as I try to add coolant after letting the engine bay cool off too my surprise the coolant goes into the reservoir and completely seeps out towards the bottom possibly near the radiator or one of its hoses . I can't believe I've waited over a month to get stucc in the side of the road and have to limp mode too a auto care store... Im saddened by the work it seems that fix auto takes pride in and that GEICO thinks so highly of. ( update) they came pretty swiftly and seemed pretty bummed at the fact they the work wasn't up to par . I appreciate the workers and all the technicians efforts I feel as though Mike may be the only " bad apple" in the bunch he made my experience very un like-able up until I was transferred over too Marc who is and was very helpful ) read more

They inspected the car and reviewed what repairs were needed. All repairs done were explained in detail to me before I left. The facility is large nice, clean and no loud noises from the shop. Outside the shop had no visible dust, debris or bumpers and parts lying around like you see at other shops. The parts manager David, did an excellent job of not only helping me find the best deal on the part needing replaced, he explained to me everything in detail so I understood exactly what needed to be done and how my vehicle needed to be fixed. Overall the staff is incredible, and the customer service is beyond excellent. My car was fixed in about an hour, and the waiting area was very comfortable and kid friendly. More recently, I had quite a bit of wear and tear and on the front bumper of my Toyota Camry sport. The bumper was falling off and the underneath was dragging.
