She was incredibly kind and took the time to explain the entire process to me. Since I arrived close to closing time and didn't have an appointment, she let me know they would run diagnostics on my laptop the following day. There's an $89 diagnostic fee, and if repairs are needed, part of the $89 fee can be used towards the cost, which felt reasonable. The next day, Martin called to let me know there was no damage and that he had cleaned the affected keys. He explained that my laptop passed all tests, but the battery was consumed. When I wasn't sure what that meant, he patiently explained and advised that since the battery wasn't swelling and the computer was still performing well, there was no need to replace it unless I noticed issues. I really appreciated that he took the time to explain everything and didn't try to upsell me. I was able to pick up my laptop later that same day which was less than 24 hours after dropping it off. It took almost 3 weeks, but at least prevented me from buying a whole new printer. If I spent another $100-150, though, I could have just gotten a new printer the next day.
