The high-quality massage with the best price in town. I highly recommend it. Try it, and you would agree with me.

Visited here on a weekday at 5pm and was surprised how busy they were. The spa was clean and the gentleman at the front desk was friendly. I asked for a foot massage that was $40 or $37 if you paid cash. The male masseuse had very strong hands and my feet felt so much better at the end of the massage. I will definitely go back. read more

I don't know how this place got good reviews, customer service is horrible. It's a big plaza and their address doesn't show suit number I was having a hard time to find out their store. I've been calling for 15 minutes, finally the guy picked up my phone, he doesn't have patience to explain the location, he was speaking so rude and he hung up my phone oh my God first time experiencing such a terrible place. read more

Massage was great. The only thing to consider is that they don't have private rooms. It's a big room with multiple tables and seatings and two other tables behind the curtains. Price is good, customer service is good. read more

The manager reached out to me seeing that my first experience was not up to my standards and offered me a complimentary massage since they are all about "100% customer satisfaction". I thought that was very thoughtful on their end and decided to take their offer on it and get a massage from a different person this time around. I went back with my fiancé today and I received a massage from Steven and he got a massage from Danny. Steven's massage techniques blew me away and he was able to get out all the kinks and tightness around my neck and shoulder area. His applied pressure was just what I was looking for and I left so happy. I'm glad that I gave this place another shot and I now know who I'll be asking for the next time I'm back again. Thank you to the manager for really making sure that all your customers leave satisfied, you now have earned yourself another long-term customer! read more

My mom and I had the C1 Combo massage. The check-in was fast, easy, and efficient. The massage was extremely relaxing. They take their time going over any problem areas. My masseuse made it a very relaxing experience and checked in on me to make sure I was doing OK. I will 100% go back to try out their other massages. You can't beat their prices! read more

4 for the massage. 3 for the environment, it was not decent, all the beds are very close, and actually it's a bit noisy, I hear the workers chatting. They have a specific tip request, 10-15 $for 60 minutes, 15-20$ for 90 minutes. read more

I have never had a worse experience with a massage in my life! First the man in the front was beyond rude and made us feel so uncomfortable from the second we walked in. I did the special yelp offer and he walked me in while being so loud and disrupting around. I specifically asked for a private room but it was just the public area. Then in the MIDDLE of my massage, he came and told me to stand up and moved me to a different room (still not private) In an almost yelling tone, Talk about a "relaxing" experience. I've been here numerous times for the same massage and that has never happened before. Also, he came in and started talking very loudly numerous times to the masseuse. I am very upset and unsatisfied with this visit today, will not be recommending to others read more

I was here twice so far and I am planning to go frequently. This is not a typical spa that you go for luxury type services. You go here just for a real massage by highly experienced masseuse (ladies are the best). read more

This massage place gives you the best massage session every very professional, clean and nice customer care. I bought the combo session for my friend's BD gift it was amazing surprise for her . I'm planning to get it for my husband as well. read more

My roommate and I decided last minute that we were in need of some TLC after a rough week. We called on a Friday afternoon and made a reservation for the 90-minute massage (60min body/30 min foot) that evening. We were BLOWN AWAY. Because we had reserved two massages, we were placed in a separate curtained area with just the two of us. (In the common area, you keep your clothes on, but in the private space, you get unclothed). My masseuse was Eric and he was phenomenal. He frequently checked in on me to make sure that I was enjoying the massage. The atmosphere was very calm and clean, and I noticed how every masseuse changed the sheets on the heated tables after every customer (I notice these things!) The foot massage was amazing and targeted areas I didn't even realize needed targeting! When we left, Kevin (I think he may be the manager but not sure) checked in on us and asked if everything was to our liking. And it certainly was. My roommate and I plan on becoming regulars and coming here at least once a month! Affordable, clean, attentive, relaxing environment. Thank you! read more

It was alright I get better massages in nyc the massage person was to strong for my neck and shoulder region would I go again to this location I highly doubt it read more

Since my review 6 years ago, they have let Kevin go and have brought in great guy named Richard in the front desk. He was very helpful and kind. He had honored the request for me to come back and try them 6 years ago and paired me up with an amazing Marsha for my massage. She made sure to work on the areas that I've requested and found other areas that needed care. I highly recommend this place. read more

I love this spa, have been there twice - both times had Great experience. Awesome place to relax

Great deal for the 90 min deep tissue (my point of reference being bay area prices). Daniel worked on me and I was able to get a private room, possibly because I reserved an appointment in advance. My shoulders & neck feel amazing! read more

I've gotten a few massages here but nobody's compared to Jack. That guy is effing amazing if you like deep tissue. He found all my spots and massage the shit out of them. It was like a good hurt type of massage but he definitely got all the kinks out. Jack you are the man!!! read more

Best massage my husband and I have ever received! We both got the 60 minute deep tissue and left feeling amazing!

My back has been aching for some time now and today I felt like I really, really need a good massage. Seems easy enough given that there are tons of spas all over Orange County but from my experience over the years, expensively priced service in five star hotels don't always equate to a good massage and neither do those places that offer cheap deals. After reading up on places and reviews on Yelp, I called several businesses for prices and information, and ultimately decided on Five Star Spa. The receptionist was very welcoming and kind enough to answer all my questions over the phone professionally. The other places I called was lacking in over-the-phone customer service. My masseuse was Tracy. We didn't talk much which was great. From time to time she asked if the pressure was good and after a while, she figured out I was happy with the level of pressure. I hate it when a masseuse/masseur tries to make small talk when I'm paying for a service to relax and not talk. The combo I chose was $56 for 90mins (45m back, arms and legs, 15m neck, shoulder, face and chest, 30m feet). It was a heavenly 90 mins with Tracy! I don't want to describe every detail of the session but I will say that my whole body felt invigorated and rejuvenated at the end of the session. That massage was just what the doctor ordered! I loved it so much that I got gift certificates to give to my family for Christmas. I wish I had discovered this place sooner but that's okay because I'll definitely be back for more. Five Star Spa definitely gets 5 stars in my book! read more

This place is absolutely amazing!!! Everyone was very attentive and nice. Spa was very clean. I got the 90 minute combo special and it exceeded my expectations. My masseuse, Daniel, was fantastic. He found the spots where I was tense and worked on those. He checked in with me multiple times to make sure the pressure was to my liking and to make sure I was doing okay. The hour massage was done with hot rocks and oil. The table was heated, very nice touch! The foot massage was even better than the full body massage. Daniel took his time and didn't rush. I am going to become a regular. This place is a must go!!!! read more

Loud, Noisy, Unprofessional but CHEAP. If you want a calm, relaxing massage, pay more and find other plce. You get what you paid for. And its super unprofessinal. The only good thing about this place is the price. read more

I had a massage with Tom and it was the most amazing massage I've ever had. I don't know why I thought it was clothes on it wasn't but it was also not weird at all. They have private curtains and I was with my partner he was getting a massage too and both of us made sure to book our appt. For next month! read more

Place was clean and answered promptly. Too much loud Korean conversations going and could not her soft music well. The masseuse next to me smelled very strong of cigarette smoke and I am allergic to smoke. Definitely, room to improve. read more

Another five star massage at five star spa! What I like about this place is that it is consistent. The quality of Massage is always good and the owner at the counter always pays attention to details when it comes to massage requests. Today I came in and explained that I had sore neck muscles and a headache and receive the most perfect shoulder and cranial massage to address the problems. I left with my headache completely remedied and was so relaxed that I almost fell asleep. Always a good experience here. read more

The reception guy is very nice and friendly to explain all the different products they have. The therapist is professional. Most of the Chinese Massage place I went to before put pressure on tip which I hate but this place they don't do that and are very friendly and professional. Highly recommended! read more

The most awkward massage ever. "Ouch too much elbow, then she would move to her thumbs and that was also painful- then I would like it. She would move quickly and hit my head, didn't mind too much- it was awkward... The man in the front answering the phone I could hear him talking on the phone. There were 6 tables in the room, there were 3 in our party- we turned off our phones the others getting a massage apparently did not. I liked my lady we had a good laugh- just too much elbows! read more

Good price, decent customer service, and above average massage. They actually ask you before your massage what areas you want worked on and what pressure. I had Mike this last time and he was great. If you like an old fashioned chinese acupressure massage, go with him. I would give them 5 stars if ambiance was just a little nicer and less medical. But, it's in the Diamond Jamboree, so the building us nice and clean. read more

Five Star Spa - Massage Near Me - Irvine, California

The older owner is extremely rude. There has been two separate occasions we asked for a female masseuse and he gave us male. When we refused the male he yelled at us as if it was our fault then after pressed on the issue he admitted we asked for females but said he only had males. That's terrible customer service to try to manipulate your customer into thinking they're crazy and didn't request something very specific. The massage isn't bad for the price but I could do without the older gentleman who i assume is the owner. The younger kid I much more cool. read more

I was so excited to try this place. My husband and I went after a long awaited night out. We signed up for the 70 mins body and 15 min foot massage. Both our massages were only one hour long. When we went to pay they have a notice that they charge 2.00 for credit card which I completely understand. However if we are paying with one card on the same transaction I do not understand the reason to charge 4.00 when it clearly states per transaction and this was one transaction. It wasn't the money at all but the principal of it. And when I pointed it out he ignored me at first and since I asked again he should me the coupon which clearly states per transaction! read more

A great no frills spa that will get the work done without any of the extra bells and whistles. It's your typical Asian massage parlor that you see saturated throughout Garden Grove/Westminster/tustin areas, but right in my own backyard in Irvine! I'd need to try out their different offerings because it's not always clear exactly what each option includes and as everyone has said, asking specific questions in English is not really an option. It would do them so good to get a fluent English speaking receptionist. Otherwise.... I guess the other option is for me to finally learn my mother tongue. Looks like we'll both be lost in translation for awhile ;) read more

Wow. I was very skeptical, but it turned out to be an excellent massage service. Steve was amazing and he was really getting deep into the tissue. I came out feeling like a new person! I highly recommend having Steve because he will take care of you! Five Star Spa is indeed a five star business! Will be coming back! read more

Their massage technique is not so great for me. But the price was very affordable in Irvine, comparing other spas. When I walked-in, it was not so crowed. Making appointment is better. read more

First time at this spa and first time experiencing a full body massage. Me and boyfriend walked in around 4:25pm and was kindly greeting by their receptionist, Richard. He let us know that there was a wait time and told us we can come by after 5:45pm (which was understandable). He then proceeds to add us into their schedule and tell us about the massage options they offer. We decided on Combo 1 (1 hour, $35 for head, neck, back, legs and feet). As 5:45pm rolls around, we went back to the spa. Initially we were anxious but excited for the massage because we both needed some knots and kinks relaxed. We were brought into a common room and then the massage experience began. My experience. My massage intensity was medium firm and my focus point was my right shoulder. Although I didn't catch her name... my masseuse was great! Despite being a tad bit ticklish and tense, she was able to really get the knots and tension out of certain areas of my body. His experience. It was great. Nothing to complain about. I'm ticklish at my feet but other than that a lot of tension is off of my back and neck for a while. Overall, we agree that the massage itself and spa experience was pleasant and I would definitely do it again! Thanks Five Star staff!!! read more

I was totally ready to have a massage with my clothes on (I read the reviews), however they offered one with oil. AMAZING. The works - medium strong pressure, experienced hands, followed direction on where I wanted the massage to be focused and even threw in some hot stones. I almost didn't want to review so I can keep this place to myself. read more

This massage spa is super. Bring your tired, your run down, your achy knots kneading to be freed.

I'm new to the area- I normally get massages in the Pasadena/San Gabriel Valley area, so I'm used to massages in the $20-$25 range for an hour, but the 70 minute combo massage deal for $36 is awesome! I just ask "can I use the Yelp review?" and they've honored it both times I went. I called both times for an appointment- the first time was on a Thursday afternoon, and more recently, on a Sunday evening. I just called right before leaving the house asking if they would have room for me in 15-30 minutes, and they were able to accommodate me. The receptionists speak English at varying levels. The one I encountered on my first visit was a little difficult to communicate with, but he was polite and respectful, so not a problem at all. The second time, the receptionist, when I entered, immediately confirmed my appointment, type of massage I wanted, and preferred level of pressure. He also asked if I wanted to use the restroom before starting. (Bathroom, by the way, was clean and well-maintained.) Then, he led me into their main massage room, which is a dark room with calming music with 8(?) massage beds. The massage itself is fantastic! The therapists use a lot of pressure, which I like, but are also sure to ask you if the pressure is okay in case you want a little less. The second time I went, the bed I had was a little squeaky and the women in the bed next to me was kind of moaning a little which was uncomfortable, but besides that, it was perfect. After the massage, they offered me a cup of water, and then I quickly paid and was on my way. Great experience overall. Be sure to tip them generously! You can do it either on your card or with cash. read more

Came here on Christmas Day with my husband and had such a great and relaxing massage. We didn't have to wait at all and the prices are great and we will definitely be back! read more

Yikes. Idk about all the great reviews, tbh. We get a lot of massages around socal both at high end spas as well as chinese foot massage joints, and unfortunately this was not a place we will ever go back to. Both my wife and I felt that the therapists were not well trained or receptive to feedback. A basic expectation is that the therapist will find and attempt to ease up any perceptible knots, but this was not the case- basically just paid for someone to roughly rub your back in a haphazard manner and also do strange things such as pull your shoulder blades out repeatedly which was neither therapeutic or pleasant. Save your money. read more

It was good and inexpensive. I didn't have an apt and they took us in right away & really accommodating.

I've been going here for the past couple years, I'm really picky about massages because I feel like every time I leave I feel disappointed, but not here. Last time I went they even gave me a free 30 minute foot massage because my appointment got pushed back a little bit. But I always feel so satisfied and relaxed when I leave. I don't plan on going anywhere else for a massage! read more

Massage is pretty good! I like the Chinese shiatsu style. Good pressure. Relaxing. The three star review is for the front desk guy and my masseuse running after me saying "tip" very rudely. Which of course I left a tip of $10. On the table, next to the massage table. Just the negative vibe after the massage was such a TURN OFF. He said sorry sorry quickly after. But for pulling that after my massage it just leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth and gave me anxiety. I had a good massage but I'm left with this. And now I feel like I need another massage which is what I came to get a massage in the first place to relax and escape. Thank you Julie for your reply. I usually hand the masseuse the tip but I couldn't find him and it was dark. And when I walked out the front desk guy was looking down at his phone. It shows a lot about the business when management takes the time to reply and improve so I'm updating me review. Thank you! read more
