Based solely on others' Yelp reviews, we took a chance on Mid-Suffolk Cess. Very, very grateful we did. Yesterday we met Alex and he worked so hard for countless hours in the heat trying to dig up a cover that was buried deep and raise it to code. He discovered a huge hole had been punctured into the existing cover, most likely from 1997, and saved us from a dangerous situation were someone could have stepped on the grass above it and fallen into the pit. After the inspection, Alex spent a long time going over everything with us in detail. He was a pleasure to talk to and truly takes his job seriously. The company is coming back today to do the actual inspection with a longer camera and I have full faith it will go smoothly. We felt completely at ease that Alex was on the job, he was so kind and polite in addition to being knowledgeable and hard working.

But that's not he primary reason I chose him; I wanted a small company with a good reputation. Mike is a one-man show, so you get an owner-operated business, which has many advantages as compared to the larger companies. Mike showed up on time, was easy-going, and did the job thoroughly; he even cleaned up the lawn neatly afterwards (where he did his digging). From the initial phone call, through scheduling and testing the were extremely professional. After scheduling the appointment, they sent an email and a post card to confirm. They showed up right on schedule without me having to be home. The tester was a complete gentleman did what he had to do, notified me when he was done, and off he went. The fact that I was home, allowed me to sign off on the test results, which then allowed them to send the paperwork to the water district for me. Seamless! They mailed me a copy of the results and in their letter stated that I am now in their system for next year. Truly impressed!
