Maybe one of the worst pedicures I've received. Nail polish was old, nails cut uneven, rough skin on heels.

My daughter and I had an appointment for 10:30am on Saturday. We were there 10 minutes early. Everyone was busy with other clients, so we sat and waited. After about 30 minutes the lady that seemed to manage the place had a friend come in, so she finished up with a client and had her friend have a seat to get service, instead of waiting on us. Then she put us in a massage chair but still didn't have anyone come over to provide service to us. Meanwhile, an additional 20 minutes went by. Another client came in for a manicure. PROS: Usually, this place will give you quality, long lasting nails. You usually don't have a long wait if you are a walk-in, and there's no wait if you have an appointment. CONS: I do not like pushy, upselling anytime in my life, but especially not when I am trying to relax. If you want a basic pedicure, be prepared to fight for it. Also, prices have increased so a basic pedi is now $27! Why, Steve?! There was no extra time or anything added from the last time I was here. Ridiculous. TIPS: Make an appointment with Sony. He's the best. OVERALL: I've had good and okay experiences here. Today was less okay. My nail tech didn't use a base coat which is a huge pet peeve of mine, and did a crumby job with a French manicure. (I had to remind her to use a top coat.) I have tried several other nail salons in the area and this one is by far the best. My manicures last longer than anywhere else (dip). Steve is amazing along with the kind staff. Very hit or miss on quality and service! Sometimes I go in and they're friendly and do a great job, other times I barely get a word from them and they just hurry through my nails with no attention to detail. Wish they were more consistent because I do like them when they do a good job. I recently went in for a pedicure. The person who worked on me was a man named Sonny. I thought he reminded me of a guy who has worked in a few other nail salons in this area over the last several months.? Anyway he did a terrible job. I wanted a pedi, sheer pink with white tips.I specifically pointed to the $27. on the menu he showed me. He charged me $30. Even if they justify the extra $3. due to the white tips, he still didn't even do half of what's suppose to be included. One if the main reasons I get the pedi is to have the cracked, dry dead cuticles pushed back and removed. He didn't touch them. Instead of the pink he put just clear, then after putting on the white tips, he didn't finish. When I got home I realized not only did they look unfinished they felt tacky and sticky. This was a $30. pedicure. I then realized he was the same guy from the other 2 places, who had also done a terrible job. This is a shame, not only is this location close to home for me, but it used to be a much better quality place, with a very nice owner. I went in at about 6:15 pm to have my nails removed and a manicure. They were busy so I waited 15 mins. It wasn't the worst that I have had, but not the best. If you are in need of a quick fix they can help....if you would like to be pampered it's going to be a no go! read more

I really wish more than one person knew how to speak/understand English. There's only one guy that works here that I go to and when he isn't there, it's beyond frustrating! No mani/pedi should take 3 hours! And even though I had booked the appointment for 5 pm, I wasn't even put in a chair until 5:40!! The only lady who does the designs, is very inconsistent. She shows you the first one and asks if you like it..so you say yes but then she does the others quick and sloppy. No lie.. it took three tries for her to get a white triangle outlined with gold!! Shes impossible to communicate with and didn't seem to care when I explained she was hurting me. Not to mention her acrylic work was crooked! And I couldn't explain it to her even though I tried multiple times that a few were crooked to me!! I used to only go to Steve, who is friendly and considerate! But now I will be going somewhere else for my nails. If I pay over $80, not including tip, then I shouldn't be happy with the results!! I went here about a week ago for a full set and had Kathy as my manicurist. At first, she seemed very sweet and talkative, but throughout my time, she stopped talking and was sort of pushy with me. My best friend was told gel would be $5 more, but I was charged $15 more and when I asked why, I was told it was for the cost of the gel. When I got home later that night, I noticed that my nails were extremely wide at the top, unevenly cut, the paint did not reach the edges of the nails, and they were very short on only the thumbs. I understand that people have bad days, so I didn't think too much of it. Within 48 hours after having my nails done, they began to chip while engaging in normal activities, such as opening the car door, going to the store, and basically everything else. By the end of the next day, 8 of my 10 nails were completely chipped on top and beginning to split. Because I was out of town that week, I wasn't able to make it back to the salon to have them fixed, and had to cut them off with nail clippers. My manicure cost $35 and within 4 days they were completely destroyed. I don't do any strenuous activity, and I've had my nails done many times. I have never had an issue like this before. Today I called the salon and spoke to Steve, who did my best friends full set the last time I came, and he told me to come in to the store and they would fix my nails completely free of charge. When I walked in, I explained to Steve what happened to my nails and that I was very upset. He said that he understood and told me to sit at a different table, pick what color I wanted, and that someone would help me. Kathy came out and asked me why my nails looks the way they did, so I explained that I had to cut them to make them not uneven anymore, to which she replied,"I have been doing nails for 16 years and never saw them look like this before." I knew that she did not believe me, and that she was speaking to her coworkers about how she did not believe me, which was very unprofessional. I am NOT a skeptic when it comes to different languages, but you know when someones talking about you. She did not care that her ripping off the nails was painful and when I told her, she just smiled at me. She then told me that she would only charge me half price to fix my nails. I told her that I spoke to Steve and they told me that they were going to be free, and she had him do them instead. He did them perfectly, and from now on I will always make an appointment with him before going in. The only downside was that I tipped him, and he gave it to Kathy, who did absolutely nothing for me other than painting them and ripping off the old ones. I do recommend this salon, but make sure to make an appointment with Steve. He really is the best! read more

Went there couple times for underarm waxing.....they always change me $13 then I tip the lady.....before yesterday I went there and was an other lady who did waxed my underarm after I finished went paying she spoke her language to the lady on the desk and they charged me $15 instead when I check the receipt to pay I was like why would you charge me more this is not the first time I came here and she start smiling and the man working there said we will give you back $2........ Please be careful and check what you sign for on the receipt these people are crooks and you don't even know what the heck are they talking about when they speak to each other their own language.......will never go back there again .....PERIOD read more
