I have had several services at this Salon and am extremely happy with all of them! I have been going to Stacy for my hair, Amber for mani/pedi's, and Mary for waxes and facials. I can't complain about any of these services. Each and everyone has been excellent and the staff is very personable always wanted to do exactly what the client wants. I just had a cut from Stacy and she did exactly what I wanted and I couldn't be happier. They are all very accommodating with my schedule! I find the pricing very reasonable. Being new to the area, and seeing numerous recommendations again and again, I decided to check out Head to Toe. Actually, I saw so many recommendations online that I almost questioned the integrity of them. So I go in, and Christina gives me a much needed hair cut/style. She blow dried me and curled my hair so beautifully I had my son take pictures when I got home that I then sent them to my mom (we don't do that sorta thing.) I was in love. Christina was personable without being intrusive, did a wonderful job on my hair, was reasonably priced and I'd absolutely recommend her to anybody. I soon went back for some highlights and then brought my MIL in for a cut while she was in town too. At this point I felt comfortable enough to get a brow wax. I booked with Mary, the owner, and she did a phenomenal job as well. I've been back for waxes and a tint now too. I had a freak out moment with the first tint but Mary calmly talked me off the cliff and was of course right in that my fears were unfounded. My brow services are much less expensive and in a more comfortable setting than what I was paying and getting at Ulta. I very much liked my brow girl, but this is obviously not the same. Mary is awesome and I found myself having great conversation and laughs with her. I'm not from around here and I didn't know what to expect or what the vibe might be inside. I had a very disappointing experience at Head to Toe Studios in Fenton, MO with stylist Stacy & I had a very disappointing experience at Head to Toe Studios in Fenton, MO with stylist Stacy Renee. For context, I've spent the past year trying to get my hair where I want it, investing well over $2,500 between different salons. One thing I am always very clear about is that I am extremely picky with my blonde. I specifically do NOT want any orange, copper, or yellow tones--this has been stressed every single time I've gone to a stylist. Prior to booking with Stacy Renee, I had a consultation (1/22) where I clearly explained and showed photos of exactly what I wanted: an icy blonde on top with dimension and a rich, dark chocolate burgundy/plum underneath. I also explained what I did not like, including warm/orange tones at my roots and poor blending that would prevent me from parting my hair the way I like. I was told this was achievable over time and felt confident moving forward. At my first appointment (2/7), I paid over $500. While I tried to trust the process, I immediately noticed unwanted warmth at the roots (orangey/red tones), which is something I specifically said I did not want. I gave the benefit of the doubt, assuming we would correct it over time. I also experienced issues with my extensions coming loose shortly after installation and had to return multiple times for fixes. At my second appointment (4/10), which lasted from 4:30 PM until 11:30 PM, I expected to get much closer to my goal. Instead, the result was even more disappointing. The blonde lacked the dimension I asked for, and a light purple tone was added, leaving my hair looking uneven--half blonde and half purple. The same issue with improper highlighting at the top remained, making it difficult to part my hair the way I prefer. After following the aftercare advice given (including using blue/purple shampoo), the unwanted tones did not improve. Shortly after, one of my extensions began falling out again. When I reached out to Stacy Renee, I was told the issue was due to me not explaining myself properly and that I had "altered" my hair simply by washing it. The call became unprofessional and ended abruptly. What's most frustrating is that I took the time to clearly communicate both what I wanted and what I did not want, provided photos, and trusted their expertise. Instead, I ended up with a result that does not reflect my request and was left feeling dismissed as a paying customer. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this salon. read more
