I went to this salon a few days ago for a gel polish manicure, and unfortunately I was very disappointed. The technician who did my nails seemed visibly aggravated throughout the entire appointment, which made the experience uncomfortable. The color I chose ended up being a shade or two lighter than what was shown on the example, so I politely asked if he could add one layer of a darker shade on top to deepen it. Instead of accommodating a very simple request, he acted extremely frustrated, as if it was a huge inconvenience. I even told him it was okay if it was too much, and he immediately sat down and started applying the clear coat without any discussion, which felt dismissive and unprofessional. On top of that, the quality of the manicure itself is poor. While the shape was fine, the gel polish has already chipped on 5 out of 10 nails, and they're not even a week old. I have been coming here for over a year and I absolutely love it! While, I do have my favorite technicians I am rarely disappointed! I consistently receive a very thorough manicure and even as a hairstylist with my hands and water all day with my gel polish last until my next appointment! This is also one of the only nail salons I've ever been to that truly respects when you have an appointment scheduled. Just got a pedicure. I got an older gentleman and he was just terrible. He seemed really irritated at me for no reason. He got the wrong color, acted mad. He got green leg scrub all over my white capris and was mad that I asked for a towel to wipe it off. He put the toe separator after he painted so the polish got all over my toes and when he put my shoes on he bumped my big toe and messed up the polish. He basically had 5 coats on it it looks terrible not smooth at all. To sum up he was terrible at his job and really unfriendly and irritated the whole time. Be prepared to wait, they have no idea when their availability is. Also, don't bring multiple people, they cannot do more than one person at a time. They will turn you away. They tell you not to wash your hands before dip. Even though there are signs everywhere that encourage you to do so... I've been twice now where this is the case. I usually don't write bad reviews, however, i feel I must warn. Making an appointment means nothing to these people. I have been there several times with appointments made and have spent my share of 20-30 minutes of waiting past my appointment time. The last straw was when I made appointments for my daughter and her two friends to have acrylics done for homecoming and 2 of them waited about 30 minutes, but the other waited 2 hours and left without nails! Well, while waiting for my cell phone to be repaired at CPR just a few doors down, I saw this nail place and, needing a manicure and a pedicure, I thought I would give it a try and give a new place a shot. What a mistake! When I sat down at the chair, as the technician was filling the water, ALL of the 6 televisions were on-and on the same channel spewing mind gobbling propaganda of first Degerets then msm mockingbird news. Signs posted all over on the walls in big E shave that they want the customer experience to be maximized and that no one is supposed to be speaking a language other than English in the presence of customers. That is all they were speaking, they were having loud and long and extended conversations in Vietnamese, and when I asked my technician a question she was unable to answer it saying that she did not know any English. However, she could read the nail book & the names of the nail polishes & the numbers, so... I think she knew more English than she was letting on. But that's not the worst. She told me to put my feet in the water and as I did, the scalding hot water coming out of the tap runnin into the foot bath, scalded my foot so bad I said "ow!" out loud as I pulled my foot away. She apologized, however it did it hurt well into the pedicure and stayed red. As she was doing my pedicure, she was very, very rough and was digging under my toenails like they did not need and I even had to explain to her again that she was hurting me. (maybe she didn't understand the universal signals for pain, that being recoiling from the pain) She settled down a little bit but she seem to be in a furious hurry. The same technician ended up doing my manicure as well, and again, she was careless and very rough with my fingernails . and the manicure just does not look as good as every other place I've ever been to, Including doing it myself. She did not even do my cuticles properly. After she was finished she placed me under the hand and toenail dryers, they were both on and you could hear them running but there was no error, nor was there heat or light emanating from them. I could vaguely see a dim UV light through the vents in the fan, and the fans acted like they kept shorting out and did not run continuously. I didn't feel any air on my toenails at all. My hands, and my feet, when I leave after a normal Manny Petty anywhere else are luxuriously soft, but both my hands and feet are not softer than they were when I went in. I still gave her a 20% tip, but I urge you to stay away unless you're in dire need, and this is the only place open. Huge disappointment. read more

I was told to take a seat.. after 50 minutes I finally asked how much longer they thought it would be and was told an additional 30 minutes due to appointments. Needless to say, I left. I have to say I received a good pedicure here, but the staff was just down right rude! Based on the basic spa pedicure alone I would give them 4 stars. They took their time and gave an over 5 minute leg/foot lotion massage. My tootsies looked beautiful when they were all finished! Now the customer service on the other hand was pretty poor. They had a bit of a wait when we arrived, but when people would walk out due to having to wait too long they would leave their current customer in the middle of the treatment and run out the door after them. It's chilly and my friends and I were just looking for some relief from chapped hands. We found this place to do paraffin wax hand treatments and I made an appointment. 1/2 hour later... they were questioning us over and over if we really just wanted paraffin wax. Yes, that's all we wanted. They don't charge much for it so they weren't particularly happy that that's all we wanted. Two of us got a gentle massage with the wax. One of us did not. One lady got up to get a warm towel to help clean the wax off and one of the other ladies told her not to. I guess we weren't worth making a good impression on. Hands are better! I got to 30 nail spa at 10:30 I waited until 12 to get my pedicure done I had signed up for a pedicure and manicure the owner's sister did my pedicure and she told me that the owner was saying bad things about me so I wait another two hours for the owner MYA to do my nails and she proceeded to tell me when I asked her for a manicure she said she couldn't do it but she could do my nails so I was ending a call by texting and during this time of sitting there she got up four times she made appointments for people three times she stared at the book for two minutes trying to figure out who was on the schedule while she was doing my nails my nails were very thick they were so thick that they ran into my skin I went home to paint and it was killing me so I went back up to try to have her fix it and she wouldn't fix it right she just did what she did at the beginning she clipped it and clipped blood underneath where you're supposed to take the cuticle she clipped on my skin which I have a picture of I would like for everyone to see that when she doesn't like you she's hateful to you and she's just not a very nice person then when I went back she told me in front of like 20 people in the room it's my fault my nails were like that because I was on the phone when I was off the phone before she ever applied the gel. I never got back on the phone but she was the one on the phone four times making appointments with people coming in. then she get up two times go see what they needed and wanted. then I called her and told her that I wanted to book appointment for my birthday and she said no you won't show up so I went down the road and got my nails fixed right. She charged 96 then I paid 35 to get them filed down and looking nice. Not to mention the wait I got out at 3:00 o'clock and she wouldn't do it right and she wouldn't fix it so I went down the street to another nail parlor and had them fix it after paying her $96 with a tip. I have three spots of blood on three of my fingers I hadn't been there for six months last time I left the shop there was another three blood on my nails so I really think she has it out for me and for anyone that knows her I think you're better off having her sister do your work than her so you can actually have a good job because she is not all there now she doesn't act right looks aggravated and just short with you She could care less about her clients that isn't how she used to not be this way. I've gone there for years but I will not be back and I don't want anyone to experience blood drawn to their fingers every time they go either that's my story and it's very accurate. She rushed on everything and made it so known she was in a rush to go talk to her coworkers. The whole time there was a coworker sitting over us and they were laughing and talking the whole time. I always leave here with pretty nails and relaxed muscles! The pedicure options are pretty good...all $35 & under! Leg & foot massages feel wonderful regardless of which nail tech takes care of me! I wish I could get away with just keeping my natural nails pretty, but they break so easily, I opt for acrylics. Usually my acrylic fill is beautiful...and I think who needs polish, but I love having color on my fingernails! I tried the powder dip, but I end up cracking the polish & breaking my nails so I'll stick to my DND gel polish because it just lasts longer! Mai is meticulous and I've never left without my nails looking perfect!, yeah I can say truly perfect. And I'm pretty picky too. Give them a chance and you will be so happy with the results. WORST NAIL SALON EVER! I went here to get a gel manicure. I get my nails done pretty frequently but don't usually go in Fenton. My mom and I went and received awful service. It may have been quick but not good quality. The lady rubbed my nails very hard. When she did the cuticles she cut me in her rush to get done. They say they are quick, which they are but they do an awful job. My mom's nails even chipped not even a couple of days later! The whole polish came off! The Lady that did her nails did not even the nails out. They were all different lengths. She then proceeded to ask my mother multiple times if she wanted gel. So in Short: the service was awful! I have been to this salon numerous times for many years. I always go back because I want to like them but after my last visit I will not be returning. When I was sitting down for my pedicure I said "hi, how are you?" The woman set the pedicure book in my lap and said "pick one." I later asked for her option between two colors, she said "if you want a different color get up and pick a different one." I am very soft spoken and polite, I work in the service industry as well. Can in on last Monday for a pedicure, lady at the front desk talked me into getting my nails filled, so I agreed since I was already there. Pedicure was amazing! My fill/fullset in the other hand not so much, asked for French tip and received it. My nails were lifting and chipping the very next day. Can back on Wednesday due to a nail breaking. Waited 20 minutes before who I believe is the owner told me I had to wait till the person who did my nails had to fix it when they had 3 other works sitting the pedicure chairs doing nothing and told me to come back in an hour. Literally THE WORST nail experience I've had to date. I came her because i had an old gift card that i wanted to use. I got a $30 predicate (deluxe maybe) and it was very short and the "long relaxing leg massage" was maybe 1-2 minutes. My toenails are small and hard to paint so I'll just give her the benefit of the doubt on that part. But my nails made me literally want to cry. It was a man and every time i asked for something he just laughed at me like he didn't understand and kept telling me no. He was constantly hurting me by pinching my fingers and pulling my skin underneath the nail from the new nail. He also was filing them down with that electric file and cut me multiple times and i was in so much pain. Not to mention i asked for a medium to long nail and they are very very short and ever each a different length. They are so uneven and it took him TWO HOURS to complete. Also every time I've ever gotten a full set ( many many times) I've always had the nail tech put some kind of oil on your nails and then tell you to go wash. He didn't do that. He just started painting with the dust from filing all over my nails. No lotion nothing. Worst experience of my life and i will be calling tomorrow to ask for these nails to be taken off free of charge. I live in the area so I've stopped in here several times. Very clean salon and the vast majority of the employees I've encountered have been quite friendly. I always get the special pedicures with the hot wax and leg massages - my feet are always SO smooth after. On my most recent visit I scheduled an appointment for 4 as we were prepping for our Caribbean Cruise. No issues scheduling and when we showed up (staggering in one at a time . . .) they had four chairs set aside for us so we hopped on up and got our feet soaking in no time. I decided to splurge a little for the trip and got a gel manicure in addition to my wild orchid deluxe pedi. It's been 12 days and only a slight chip on one of my nails where the polish had lifted a bit. For 7 days splashing around in the ocean and hauling luggage, I think it's held up fantastically. This is my second time going to this salon the first time I was not impressed but I figured maybe the first time they were just having a bad day.So today my daughter and I stopped in there after leaving another salon that we waited for over an hour and a half and nobody even acknowledging us. At that point I was pretty much done and just agreed with it because my daughter just really wanted to get her nails painted.They were hurrying rushing us back and they didn't even give us hardly any time to pick out a fingernail polish for my daughter. She took me back and told me to pick out which color gel I wanted I picked out a pale pink color and gold color for my ring finger so she hurried and started to do the nails when she put the primer on that Bond's the fill to the acrylic nail she just splashed it all around my fingers and I immediately started feeling it burning my skin and underneath the nail she then started to rush through putting the fill on them,then she started using the drill and by that point I literally felt like I was being stung by a 1000 fire ants around my finger tips, when she was finished with the drill she then started shaping and filing them and I told her I wanted em to look as natural as possible she hurried thru the filing and left me with nails that are all completely lopsided and uneven, when she begin to put the gel polish on which she again pressured me into getting it was again supposed to be a pale pink color it was instead a tan taupe color I mentioned something to her as soon as she started and instead of stopping and finding the correct color she just kept painting and ignoring my objections and said oh it's a very pretty color and it's very soft and ignored any requests that I had about the paint color that I wanted. The whole situation with my nails was a mess and I was extremely frustrated and couldn't wait to get out of there. On the other hand the woman who did my daughter's nails was nice did a good job she even gave her little flowers on her thumbs which she was over the moon about that and we were even able to walk out with all the paint still on her nails and not all over herself like usual that is the only reason I gave then 2 stars instead of none. I got my eyebrows waxed and a gel manicure here. Both of the services turned out great, but I was very disappointed by the service. First, when I walked in, there was a man on a laptop sitting on one of the couches meant for guests and he asked if he could help me. I told him what I wanted and then was seated at a manicurist's table, where a very nice woman did my nails. Her English was not very good, so I understand that she was not very chatty, but she was speaking to everyone else in the room but me in another language. They were joking around and I couldn't help but feel uncomfortable. When she finished my nails, she took me in a seperate room to do my brows. We went in to what I think is their party room and when she turned on the light, 3 napping employees were in there! Been going here for a year. Started out amazing and I raved about this nail salon to everyone as I continually received amazing manicures. The last few times I have been in the experience has been terrible. I have had to file them myself at home due to them being so uneven and jagged. It seems like everyone is always in a hurry and they do not take their time like they used to. Rushing through the process and customer pays the price. I left with multiple cuts to my fingers that were not only painful but would not stop bleeding. I know accidents happen but to be cut multiple times is unacceptable. Last year, they refused to offer me a student discount because they overheard me talking about how I was leaving for college soon, they claimed the student discount was only for high-school students, which makes absolutely no sense. I went there a couple days ago and I was a little hesitant about the color I chose because it looked different on my nails than it did on the swatch. I asked them if it was a big deal to change it because I didn't want to pay for something I didn't like and she insisted it looked good and then called her coworkers over and they were like "you're the one that chose that color, it looks the same, it will cost you double to change it."
